Partou Little Oaks Day Nursery & Pre-school is a happy nursery in central Accrington for babies and children up to the age of five years.

The nursery provides care and learning opportunities for children, covering all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage. The friendly nursery staff encourage children to play in a fun outdoor area every day and provide them with exciting activities that have been planned around their likes and interests.

The nursery has a sensory room filled with sparkling lights, soothing colours and stimulating shapes. The room has been specially designed to help children’s levels of concentration, alertness and calmness.

All meals and snacks at the nursery are freshly prepared on-site by the nursery chef, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.

The Little Oaks team is experienced and highly qualified, with members of staff having enhanced DBS checks as standard. The majority of team members hold a Level 3 or above in childcare, a paediatric first aid certificate and safeguarding training.

My daughter has been attending for about three years now and loves coming each day and always asks when it’s nursery time again. The staff are amazing, they are very welcoming and caring. My daughter has progressed loads and I couldn’t be happier with the care and education they give.

My baby started nursery when he was eight months old. Having never interacted with children due to lockdown, the staff were very understanding and helpful and allowed him to ease into the nursery setting. He now loves going and has become very sociable. It's great to see him come out of his shell and

Little Oaks Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Accrington have been fantastic with my daughter. Her confidence and social skills improved almost instantly and all staff, not just her key workers, have been so understanding and supportive. She enjoys coming to nursery and always has something new to
talk about or has done new activities each day, the food is all homemade on site which she thoroughly enjoys and I have felt as comfortable leaving my daughter in the care of the nursery staff as I would leaving her with my own family. We will be sad to leave for school come September!

Little Oaks of Accrington is a wonderful nursery with nurturing staff. My child started attending at 10-months-old, and the staff were great with helping my child settle in. Children are encouraged to shine through various activities. There are opportunities for parents to be involved with their child’s
development by sharing their child’s interests outside of the nursery. Overall, a fabulous nursery that I cannot recommend enough!

Our child has settled really well at nursery. Her development has come on leaps and bounds and we recognise a lot of it is down to the nursery. I do think the facilities could do with an upgrade and the building itself looks tired in places. I was disappointed when the afternoon snack was stopped and
was also disappointed to see a lot of staff leave at once.

My daughter panics going into the nursery, but the staff look after her effectively and calmly.

It’s a lovely nursery. My son really enjoys going. They have lots of different activities going on each day that support his development and that he really likes getting involved in. Little Oaks, Accrington is an amazing nursery. I absolutely loved it when I first looked around and since my daughter has been going I knew it was the right choice. My daughter loves it and the staff, who are so lovely. I feel so relaxed knowing that she's in safe hands and that she's enjoying herself.
I can't thank the staff enough. I can also see what she gets up to during her days there through the app, which I just love seeing her enjoying so many different activities.

My son is currently in pre-school and has been attending since he was in the baby room. He loves going whereby he can see his friends. He's always very animated when I pick him up telling me about his day and the food, which is all home-cooked and from scratch. He loves it that much the staff are always
telling me he's had seconds and sometimes thirds. The staff are equally amazing, each of them offers the children something different and the bond that they have is exceptional. I am so glad I picked Little Oaks for my son. As soon as I had my look around, I knew this was the place for us. It has a home for home feel. Keep up the good work guys, you're all amazing!

In the short time my son has been there, I have been pleased with how it's going. On a few occasions, staff have gone out of their way to put my mind at ease, with my son being fussy who he eats for and them showing me what he has eaten has made me feel relaxed. I am hoping that the relationship continues
to build as my son progresses in Little Oaks.

My daughter transferred from another nursery to this one in Accrington. I was very nervous since she had been at the other nursery since 5 month old - 2 years. I can honestly say the staff were amazing! Very helpful and made sure she settled in well and made new friends. The staff at Little Oaks are
amazing and even when new staff start they make every effort to introduce themselves. You should all be very proud of the work you do and THANK YOU!
As a parent, you only ever hear of the negatives before you choose the perfect nursery for your child but I hand on heart don't have a single bad thing to say about this nursery. My child has grown up surrounded by loving staff and they have an amazing bond with her.
