Partou Little Oaks Day Nursery & Pre-school is a happy nursery in central Accrington for babies and children up to the age of five years.

The nursery provides care and learning opportunities for children, covering all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage. The friendly nursery staff encourage children to play in a fun outdoor area every day and provide them with exciting activities that have been planned around their likes and interests.

The nursery has a sensory room filled with sparkling lights, soothing colours and stimulating shapes. The room has been specially designed to help children’s levels of concentration, alertness and calmness.

All meals and snacks at the nursery are freshly prepared on-site by the nursery chef, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.

The Little Oaks team is experienced and highly qualified, with members of staff having enhanced DBS checks as standard. The majority of team members hold a Level 3 or above in childcare, a paediatric first aid certificate and safeguarding training.

The nursery is amazing with my son I could ask for better staff to look after him. They ensure all his needs are met, no request is too big. My son enjoys playing outside in the different play areas, he loves trying all the different foods they make.

Federico is our only child and we wanted to find a place were he could thrive and receive excellent care. Since first visiting Little Oaks we knew it was going to be the perfect nursery for him.
Management is accessible to answer questions and get information. This was important to us being first
time parents.
The nursery itself has great facilities and spaces for the children (both indoor and outdoor). Food is excellent, varied and nutritious. Staff is fantastic.
The early years educators in the baby room really made Federico feel welcomed and eased his settling in at nursery. We particularly want to thank his lead educator, Jade, that we feel has gone above and beyond to provide Federico with exceptional guidance.
Federico smiles from the moment we drop him off to the moment we pick him up. We warmly recommend Little Oaks.

I have been nothing but happy since my 2 children start at Little Oaks, Accrington at 9months old.
They struggled settling in at first and the staff were excellent at following the children's lead in ways to help them settle into nursery life especially considering their age.


They have flourished

here and each week, me and my family notice a big difference in their learning and confidence which is great to see.


The staff are great at putting you at ease and are always available to help with anything; in person aswell as phone/email.


I recommened this nursery to everyone and the updates via the app are a great addition in helping with 'mum guilt'

Overall, Henry's care has been positive. Henry is positive & enjoys coming to nursery. Communication can be mixed. Verbal communication at the end of the day is usually great; however, on the app, it has been lacking. However, it has improved over the last few weeks.

Leaving my one year old was daunting however staff were reassuring throughout, now my daughter loves Little Oaks and enjoys walking in and singing. Staff here are amazing and really caring. The whole experience wouldn't be positive without these members of staff. The care has been exceptional, my daughter

Amazing staff! My little girl started in January 2025 due to the childminder closing down, the manager was so helpful and managed to keep the dates I had with the childminder, the nursery staff are amazing with my little girl! She has her favourite staff member! They are all very welcoming and they
are all like family especially to my little girl! I'm gutted she leaves for school this time! I wish I had her in this nursery from the beginning

My niece attends Little Oaks, she always comes home smiling after a fun filled day. She has become confident and chatty. She eats the meals well and the staff are very friendly and caring, my niece loves dressing up and books the most.
