Partou Little Oaks Day Nursery & Pre-school is a happy nursery in central Accrington for babies and children up to the age of five years.

The nursery provides care and learning opportunities for children, covering all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage. The friendly nursery staff encourage children to play in a fun outdoor area every day and provide them with exciting activities that have been planned around their likes and interests.

The nursery has a sensory room filled with sparkling lights, soothing colours and stimulating shapes. The room has been specially designed to help children’s levels of concentration, alertness and calmness.

All meals and snacks at the nursery are freshly prepared on-site by the nursery chef, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.

The Little Oaks team is experienced and highly qualified, with members of staff having enhanced DBS checks as standard. The majority of team members hold a Level 3 or above in childcare, a paediatric first aid certificate and safeguarding training.

Excellent nursery, brilliant with my son. He's learnt so much and come on leaps and bounds. So caring and I get a report at the end of the day which I love.

It’s my son's last day at nursery before he starts school. I would 100% recommend children to attend this nursery. He has loved every day and made lots of friends. He has learned and has progressed and is ready for school. Thank you to all the staff at Little Oaks.

My son started at beginning of April but he did settling in sessions before that and I'm so pleased with how well he's come on since he's been, he goes 3 days a week and the staff have been brilliant with him especially his key worker as my son was always with me before he started nursery so he had
separation anxiety. He's settled in so well he still cries when I'm leaving him, but soon as I'm out the room he's quiet and happily playing. I was so paranoid thinking he would never settle but I'm so happy he's settled in so well. The staff are lovely and tell you what they have been doing in the day. I am so happy I put him there, he's made new friends and his speech has come on loads.

The best nursery in Accrington. They make you feel so comfortable, very easy to approach if you have any problems. The staff are all fantastic, my son looks forward to going on the days he’s in and I would highly recommend his nursery to anyone.
My son has special needs and the support I get from
all staff is brilliant especially his key worker, there is really good communication, they tell you if anyone is coming to visit my son and we have regular meetings to check his progress. He is going to miss the nursery when he starts school.

My daughter is 3 and a half and has been attending Little Oaks for two and a half years for 3 days a week. When I went back to work after being on maternity leave It was a huge change but after 3 weeks my little girl settled in and I stopped worrying. I could see my daughter enjoyed herself and that
her key worker genuinely built a close bond with her. The nursery is like a big family and my daughter has grown into a happy, confident child. I used to wish I could give up work and look after my daughter full time but now I've learnt it's much better for her development to attend this nursery even if I had a choice.

I couldn’t rate this nursery more, my daughter is very settled here. The staff are fantastic. The activities they do with them and involving the parents also is great. The food they receive is also of a very high standard. I wish I would have found this nursery sooner. Highly recommend.

Staff are fantastic with the children and build up good relationships with them. Although at times, they do seem too busy in the morning dealing with all the upset children that don't want their parents to leave them, it looks like they could do with a little more assistance whilst it is a busy time.

My daughter has been at Little Oaks for just over a year and she absolutely loves it. Except when she’s not feeling 100%, she gets excited each morning when I drop her off.
They take time to go through each day with you and let you know of any problems.
The staff are lovely and easy to talk to.


My

daughter has a couple of food intolerances at the moment, and they’re dealt with efficiently but with all the children in the class in mind.


Would, and have, highly recommended them to other parents.

As a very nervous first time mother leaving her 2-year old for the very first time my experience has been amazing. The staff have all been fantastic and very supportive and my daughter absolutely loves it. I feel very confident and secure about leaving her which I thought I would struggle with but the

The staff are brilliant, always happy and ready to give advice if needed, my little boy loves coming to nursery and only been here a few weeks has settled from the start. The staff always given positive and lots of feedback at the end of the day with what he has eaten and been doing. The staff are warm,
