Partou Little Oaks Day Nursery & Pre-school is a happy nursery in central Accrington for babies and children up to the age of five years.

The nursery provides care and learning opportunities for children, covering all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage. The friendly nursery staff encourage children to play in a fun outdoor area every day and provide them with exciting activities that have been planned around their likes and interests.

The nursery has a sensory room filled with sparkling lights, soothing colours and stimulating shapes. The room has been specially designed to help children’s levels of concentration, alertness and calmness.

All meals and snacks at the nursery are freshly prepared on-site by the nursery chef, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.

The Little Oaks team is experienced and highly qualified, with members of staff having enhanced DBS checks as standard. The majority of team members hold a Level 3 or above in childcare, a paediatric first aid certificate and safeguarding training.

The nursery team are true gems to this nursery. My baby loves them. They are very friendly, caring, working with a passion and truly dedicated to work and children. I know I can go to work and not worry as he is getting the best care.
My baby has made amazing progress and I can highly recommend it
to anyone who is looking for a professional nursery.

Absolutely amazing nursery, my daughter enjoys all the activities available for her and also her little friend group. She has bonded and responds to all of the staff, they are friendly and polite and I have been with this nursery for over a year. The children also receive a well-balanced diet along
with a structured meal plan. The best nursery I could have ever entrusted with my daughter and we will continue to go here. The staff have gone above and beyond to ensure she is well looked after and also has fun.

My son started at Little Oaks Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Accrington roughly 3 months ago. I can't praise the staff enough. He has a meltdown on drop off but they always reassure me that he's fine after a few minutes. He didn't say many words when he first started however I feel he is learning
more and more. He only started 3 afternoons a week to start, now he does 5 as we feel the care he receives is impeccable so as parents we feel very confident leaving him there. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending Little Oaks to other parents. Brilliant nursery and very friendly approachable staff.

Very helpful and always going the extra mile when it comes to feeding my child and comforting. This nursery has made my child improve so much socially and also with his speech. Every day they will take a minute out just to let me know how my child has been.

My son is two and a half and absolutely loves coming to nursery to spend time playing, learning and being with his friends. All the staff are lovely and seem to really look after my son’s best interests. Each day they provide me with an overview of how my son has been in the day, what he has eaten,
slept, what he’s had fun playing with etc. The nursery has a low turnover of staff which to me shows the staff enjoy their jobs and are treated well.

My son has been going to Little Oaks Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Accrington since September 2022. He absolutely loves going and does not hesitate to wave me goodbye. He has managed to build up a very good bond with his keyworker but also with the staff in the baby room. I feel my son has come
on leaps and bounds, with good interaction with staff but also with his friends he has made. The staff are always happy to speak to you at any time of day when checking in on how your child is doing. The staff have positive attitudes and very approachable. They love the children as their own. At first, as a first time parent I was very anxious about leaving my son, but now I have no worries at all. I'm very happy with my son's placement I recommended a placement for a friend of mine. Superb nursery, superb staff, happy child, happy mummy. Keep up the good work.

Excellent nursery I highly recommend. My eldest used to attend Little Oaks Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Accrington and it was a brilliant experience for him. Now my youngest lad has attended Little Oaks nursery since September 2022 and they have been absolutely amazing with him knowing my son

I am so impressed with the level of care my child receives at Little Oaks Nursery. All the staff are welcoming, friendly, and enthusiastic. My son started the nursery when he was twenty months old, and just after a couple of months, I believe he has built some strong bonds with the staff members. All
the activities are well planned and engaging. They are attentive to his needs and give thorough feedback at the end of the day and via the learning book app. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Little Oaks.

My grandchild has been at Little Oaks from being a baby. I take him each day and am really impressed with the professional and caring nature of all the staff. My grandchild always has things to tell me about his exciting day and the friends he has. When talking about the staff it is obvious he respects
and likes them. When arriving in the morning the smell of delicious homemade food is mouthwatering. Before Covid, I would take him into nursery and the range of interesting and educational toys was huge and the nursery has a warm family feel. I would recommend Little Oaks.

My baby started nursery when he was eight months old. Having never interacted with children due to lockdown, the staff were very understanding and helpful and allowed him to ease into the nursery setting. He now loves going and has become very sociable. Little Oaks Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Accrington have been fantastic with my daughter. Her confidence and social skills improved almost instantly and all staff, not just her key workers, have been so understanding and supportive. She enjoys coming to nursery and always has something new to
talk about or has done new activities each day, the food is all homemade on site which she thoroughly enjoys and I have felt as comfortable leaving my daughter in the care of the nursery staff as I would leaving her with my own family. We will be sad to leave for school come September!

Little Oaks of Accrington is a wonderful nursery with nurturing staff. My child started attending at 10-months-old, and the staff were great with helping my child settle in. Children are encouraged to shine through various activities. There are opportunities for parents to be involved with their child’s

Our child has settled really well at nursery. Her development has come on leaps and bounds and we recognise a lot of it is down to the nursery. I do think the facilities could do with an upgrade and the building itself looks tired in places. I was disappointed when the afternoon snack was stopped and
was also disappointed to see a lot of staff leave at once.

My daughter panics going into the nursery, but the staff look after her effectively and calmly.
