Partou Little Oaks Day Nursery & Pre-school

I am a first-time Mum and was worried about returning to work and childcare for my daughter. The staff team were reassuring and they supported us through settling in. My daughter enjoys nursery now and has good bonds with the staff, she has really come out of her shell and grown in confidence.

My daughter has been attending the nursery for a couple of months now, she is being assessed for autism so it was important for me to find a nursery that would cater to her needs, she has come on so much in the past couple of months she has attended. Staff are lovely and really helped my girl to settle in, they have been great with her.

A very friendly staff environment. Always comfort my children and settle them in to start the day. Always going above and beyond for me and my children keeping me updated via emails. The care and development of my children are brilliant. I always feel 100% confident they will be well looked after. They do a variety of activities and my child always talks about what they have done that day.

I also receive regular updates on my daughter's learning.

Really friendly, approachable, warm staff, can tell all of the staff enjoy working with children and are all very calm and caring, good at their jobs. They care about the child's best interest and tailor the experience to the child, settling in sessions and going at the child's own pace to up the hours.

My youngest started in September and he loves it, he's really come out of his shell and his speech has come on leaps and bounds, staff always helpful and polite, I have had two previous siblings go there too and they really enjoyed it.

My son is always happy and excited to go to the nursery and has formed good relationships with the staff members and other children, when he comes home messy I see this as a good sign as I know he has thrown himself into everything.

I am really pleased with the nursery. Brilliant staff, very welcoming, caring, helpful and friendly. My 3-year-old son loves coming to the nursery. The activities and learning they do have really helped him reach his developmental milestones. He has numerous allergies and the staff always make sure that all of his meals are prepared to comply with his quite strict dietary requirements.

My son waves me off because so comfortable with the staff, he loves going, when I ask him if he’s going, his little face lights up. He’s always well fed and watered, often has x2 breakfast, lunch, and tea. The staff tell me whenever he bumps his head which would be easy not to, I appreciate the honesty. He comes home with stuff he’s made which is cute and it is the best value for money considering how much my little one eats!

The Little Oaks team are amazing! Going above and beyond in support of my little girl, she loves going to nursery and has learnt so much. My daughter has attended Little Oaks since she was 10 months old, she’s now three and a half. The team have been key in her learning and development. I can’t speak highly enough of the entire team, they are responsive, caring and professional. I highly recommend Little Oaks as a nursery.

Little Oaks has helped with both of my children from baby group right up until my eldest left to go to school. They are really understanding and easy to talk to. They keep you up to date with everything your little ones are doing and work alongside parents, helping little ones to meet their milestones. Not every day is the same at Little Oaks which helps your children be more creative and to have fun. Little Oaks is by far the best nursery I visited when I was choosing a nursery for my eldest child. My youngest child leaves nursery every day with a big smile on her face and can’t wait to get into nursery every morning full of joy.

My only negative is the app. One of the reasons we picked Little Oaks to move my child to was the promise of being able to get photos of what she was doing immediately to show how settled she has been especially in the first week of her being here. Unfortunately this hasn’t been the case - it took 2 weeks for them to be available for us to see which defeats the object. This has been an ongoing issue throughout her time here with this app. Handover could be more consistent, we don’t always know what she has eaten in the day or if she has had a soiled nappy.

My kids go to Little Oakes Nursery for four years and they love it and enjoyed it. Their teacher is very friendly and very kind to them. They did an amazing job, excellent. I would like to highly recommend the Little Oaks Nursery.

My daughter has been at this nursery since 2021. Having been born in the Covid pandemic, she wasn't confident around new people. The nursery team have been fantastic. My daughter has made many friends and has loved every minute of her journey at nursery. The team are always happy and very friendly. I have never come across any issues. My daughter has really come out of her shell.

My baby has made amazing progress and I can highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a professional nursery.

Absolutely amazing nursery, my daughter enjoys all the activities available for her and also her little friend group. She has bonded and responds to all of the staff, they are friendly and polite and I have been with this nursery for over a year. The children also receive a well-balanced diet along with a structured meal plan. The best nursery I could have ever entrusted with my daughter and we will continue to go here. The staff have gone above and beyond to ensure she is well looked after and also has fun.

My son started at Little Oaks Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Accrington roughly 3 months ago. I can't praise the staff enough. He has a meltdown on drop off but they always reassure me that he's fine after a few minutes. He didn't say many words when he first started however I feel he is learning more and more. He only started 3 afternoons a week to start, now he does 5 as we feel the care he receives is impeccable so as parents we feel very confident leaving him there. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending Little Oaks to other parents. Brilliant nursery and very friendly approachable staff.

Very helpful and always going the extra mile when it comes to feeding my child and comforting. This nursery has made my child improve so much socially and also with his speech. Every day they will take a minute out just to let me know how my child has been.

My son is two and a half and absolutely loves coming to nursery to spend time playing, learning and being with his friends. All the staff are lovely and seem to really look after my son’s best interests. Each day they provide me with an overview of how my son has been in the day, what he has eaten, slept, what he’s had fun playing with etc. The nursery has a low turnover of staff which to me shows the staff enjoy their jobs and are treated well.
