My daughter is 16 months old and her first time in a nursery setting. She's finding the settling in very hard but I can't thank the staff enough! They go above and beyond with her to make sure she's ok and to reassure me. She's a fussy eater and again do everything they can to ensure she eats something at nursery. I couldn't be more happy with the choice I made in the quays the staff are amazing and put you at ease right away. I love it!
Staff are always warm, cheerful, welcoming and caring. Communication between staff and parents is good, it's nice to know what they've been up to as well as eating/sleeping routine. The nursery has been extremely accommodating of our needs and our daughter is very happy there.
Each day I am informed of what activities the children have been doing and what my son is interested in and that's important to me. My son is free to bring his own toys/books and share them with the class which is lovely. I also love that the food is cooked in the nursery and not brought in. It really does feel like a home from home environment.
My little girl seems to have settled very well. The staff are so helpful and always willing to go the extra mile. The nursery is such a lovely setting and I feel privileged my daughter was given a place there.
We have been very impressed with the Quay's nursery since our child started there in September. The staff are great and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them and most importantly, our son likes them all too. The standard and variety of the food is amazing.
As everyone knows sending our children to nursery for the first time can be very daunting.
The staff made it such an easy transition for us all and we are very grateful.
Our little boy has developed so well since coming to the nursery and tells us all the time he can't wait to go again!
Thank you so much!
As soon as we looked around the nursery, we loved everything about it. We felt extremely happy leaving our child for the first time, which made going back to work much easier. Having the home visit and settling in sessions meant that we could meet the staff and experience a normal day at the nursery. Our child settled in so well and feel that she has made lots of progress since starting nursery. This is thanks to the fantastic staff and facilities at the nursery.
When it came time to selecting a nursery for my younger son there was no contest. We had experience of The Quays from my older son who was there from being 12 months old to the pre-school class so it was our natural first choice. The Quays has always been a friendly, welcoming place with great staff who I feel take time for each of the children as individuals.
"A Home from Home, but better" is how I would describe The Quays.
I am 100% comfortable leaving my little boy here each day and have been since he was 10 weeks old. My middle son attended over 15 years ago and the ethos, quality and atmosphere have remained constant over the years. I love the fact that my son can play freely and explore new things amongst peers, whilst under the supervision of high-quality staff.
The detailed feedback I receive on his wellbeing each day is a reassuring aspect to the service provided. This has been particularly important for me as he has been somewhat poorly in his first year and I have felt supported by the nursery.
He is now thriving and growing in life skills each day....THANKYOU :-)
We moved to the area and the transition for my kids to change nursery was made so much each by all the lovely staff and facilities. Both my children are so happy going to nursery. Every day the do new and fun activities and really try and interlink family life and activities with what they learn at nursery. The parent feedback and info is great.
All of the staff, whether they care for my children or not, are brilliant; they are sociable, helpful, professional and all help to care for the children in a fun, caring and safe environment. My children have loved being at this nursery and I will be very sad when number one leaves for primary school.
One thing I can say throughout my children's time at nursery I have always been treated as a parent which has been important to me.
The staff are dedicated and eager to build on parent partnerships, and most of all giving my daughter lots of cuddles when I'm not there. #firstclasscare xx
My son has been going to quays for the last 15 months and from day one he has had the best time. All the staff in there are very caring and dedicated. I couldn't have asked for a better place for my little one. They have helped him all the way in his development. It's not only the key worker but everyone else have done their bit for him. Everyone is so friendly which makes it easier for me to speak to them if I have any concerns. They have always been very accommodating. Having come to Warrington and not having a family to support me, Quays has been there as a family to me and my little one.
We have been delighted with the excellent care the Quays and it's caring and dedicated staff provide for our daughter who has been at the nursery from 10 months old. The staff have all been incredibly hard working, forming a real bond with both children and parents which provides that reassurance so important in a nursery, especially when first settling in.
They never seem to run out of ideas for fun, exciting and interesting activities for the children. The staff always seem full of enthusiasm and there is great communication about what the children get up to day to day and how they are progressing.
Our daughter absolutely loves her time in nursery and often asks to go there to play, even on her days off, which is a testament to how much she enjoys herself. The team have done so much to build her confidence and bring out her character over the last 14 months. She has come on leaps and bounds during her time at the nursery and we would have no hesitation in recommending it.
They have built strong relationships with each of their Key People as they have transitioned through the nursery, and all of the other staff at the nursery.
The nursery values links with home/parents, and builds on the children's experiences outside of nursery, with many opportunities for Parents to get involved with stay-and-play sessions etc.
All staff show a real personal interest in my children and are keen to develop them, especially supporting them during the transition to school.
I don't have any concerns about the excellent care my children receive at The Quays.
Both my children have enjoyed their time at The Quays. The staff are lovely and have really helped bring my children on. There is good communication with parents. They provide healthy meals which my children are happy to eat. I am very happy with my choice of nursery.
Excellent nursery with fully trained and professional staff.
My child started the nursery earlier this year and I can already see a big difference in his confidence and speech and all round learning.
The nursery staff are absolutely brilliant with the children, coming up with daily activities that are up-most fun whilst educational at the same time.
I have loved watching my 'baby' grow up in to a lovely little boy with the help of The Quays Day nursery staff.
Thank you everyone.
My little boy has been at the Quays since he was 9 months old and he is due to start school in September. We love the Quays, it's a very home from home care and they have really helped him turn into the person he is today. The staff and management are always there to chat too about any concerns and any questions at all, they have been a great support to me and my family. A special thanks to pre school who have really allowed him to grow this last 12 months and the Manager who had managed the nursery for pretty much the whole time we've been at the quays she is an absolute credit to the team, we will miss the quays but it's time to let us carry on growing so thank you and if you are a new mum reading this then I would 100% recommend the Quays xx
I cannot thank everyone at the Quays enough for the care, support and fun that they have given my oldest son over the last 3 years and that they continue to offer my younger children. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending The Quays.
We have been using this nursery for our two children since 2013. They provide me with complete peace of mind when I leave them there and the care they receive is second to none. It is very much a 'home from home' environment and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Meet the Team (2)
I have over 20 years of experience working with children in a variety of roles with my most recent role being the Nursery Manager of a local Outstanding nursery.
I am already building strong relationships with our families and staff and already feeling a part of The Mere Family.
As a mum to a young family, I have a good understanding of juggling family life with a career as many of our families do.
I have a Btec National in Early Childhood Studies.
Now, I proudly serve as Deputy Manager alongside Emma, working in the office to support our team, children, and families. I truly love my role and feel privileged to welcome our wonderful families and children each day.
