A welcoming and enriching nursery in Countess of Chester Hospital.

Set in the grounds of Countess of Chester Hospital, making the nursery ideal for hospital staff and local residents, Countess of Chester Day Nursery and Preschool is located on Liverpool Road. The nursery cares for children from three months to five years.

The nursery has three separate areas including babies, toddlers and a large preschool and boasts a large outdoor area that is accessible from all rooms to encourage a free flow environment.

The Preschool room has an additional separate garden for the older ones to explore and enjoy with more freedom.

The well-qualified team of highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced staff work together to provide a well-balanced programme of fun activities and learning experiences, within a carefully planned curriculum with Bright Horizons unique Ready for School programme. The nursery fosters an enjoyment of early literacy and maths, with Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians Enhancements helping children to recognise letters, words and numbers in their environment.

My son has such a wonderful time at this nursery, particularly since he has moved to the pre-school room, which he cannot wait to go to. It's very stimulating and he learns a lot. I have been super interested with the way the team have managed and accommodated for my son's allergies. I am confident
that my son is safe and happy when he's at nursery, and I shall be putting my daughter in this nursery too, when she's a little older. Thank you.

Our child has been attending the nursery for 2.5 years, and is thriving there. The purpose-built premises are a real benefit, the rooms are all spacious, airy and laid out well. Each room is packed with activities for the children to do. The staff are fabulous , and clearly all have a great rapport
with all of the children.

Starting with a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management, I earned an Outstanding Ofsted rating and helped improve ratings in various settings. Upon relocating to Wales for family, I became a Nursery Operations Manager overseeing two sites, earning a nomination for Nursery Manager of the Year.
