Bright Horizons Countess of Chester Day Nursery and Preschool

I absolutely love this nursery! Location is perfect on sight of work which put me at ease in the early days with my 8-month-old being so close. Both my children have settled in so quickly and never cry going in, they're always so excited to see not only their friends but all the staff, I'm soon forgotten about. All staff have been amazing with my toddler's milk allergy with advice and always giving her lovely meals regardless. Thank you to all the staff for always being so welcoming and giving me the best handovers and advice when I need help with absolutely anything! All the girls are like aunties to my children, you can really tell they love their jobs, the way they talk about the kids just feels like my children are never a burden. I am soon to have my third child who I now know has the perfect nursery to go to when ready, it's so clean and spacious and they're so on it with everything which is why I have no worries.

The whole team is very good. A huge thanks to staff, one member of staff, in particular, is wonderful in taking care of the children in the nursery, very patient and lovable. My daughter loves to go to the nursery as she feels it's a very friendly atmosphere there.

The staff are great and take an interest in my daughter and her likes/dislikes. The food is varied and fresh and I'm really impressed with the activities on offer and the constant new things. My daughter started at 7 months old and I was worried she was too young but the staff put us at ease and supported her to settle in. Love it there, would recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic manager, very knowledgeable and professional. Friendly professional staff that provide great learning and fun. Children have flourished over the past couple of months. Great setting and resources. Location is good for commuting.

Lovely staff, very enthusiastic and kind. The only reason this isn't a five-star review, is due to staffing numbers. There seemed to be a shortage of staff at the start of the year, resulting in parents being asked if children could be kept at home every now and then, but this seems to have been sorted and I have no further complaints. My son loves preschool and I feel well-informed of his development and learning.

Very kind staff. Safe environment. Experienced teachers, very nice nursery with happy kids playing around. Highly recommended! All my three kids were here and all of them enjoyed it. Well balanced between playing and learning.

Staff are kind and friendly, always happy to answer questions and are supportive of the children. My little boy settled in well and is always happy to go into nursery. The nursery day is structured well and keeps my little boy entertained. The menu is varied and my little boy always tries all the food. Lots of opportunities to play outside. You are kept up to date via the app and can also telephone/email with quick responses from the management. I'm happy with the nursery and would recommend to others.

A really fantastic nursery with professional, dedicated and kind staff. The spacious nursery has a variety of areas to play which inspire and educate the children, including a large garden. The nursery keeps us updated with our child's learning journey and daily activities. Our child loves attending Bright Horizons Countess of Chester Day Nursery and Preschool.

The nursery and staff are incredible. They are so welcoming towards myself and my son. They have been amazing from day one when he started at 9 months old. I can't thank them enough for all they have done for him and myself.

My son attends this nursery and he loves it. He is in the preschool room and I feel he has developed so much since being in there. He loves the staff in there and they are always very helpful and understanding if I have a question or query.

Lovely nursery with great staff. Always friendly and welcoming. We sent our daughter here and now our son! Would always recommend Bright Horizons in Chester as they have always been very good and adaptable.

Our little boy is 22 months old and has been at the nursery since he was 11 months old. He settled really quickly and has been thriving in their care. I'm really impressed with the way the nursery communicates with parents.

The nursery staff are very friendly and very close to the kids. Our daughter adores them all. We like the fact that the kids spend as much time as possible in the outside garden. Food is made at the nursery, which is a plus, but we think the variety of meals could be a little bit better.

I'm pleased with the care my child gets at the nursery and it has been a good experience to see him grow up there. The food is good. I like the simulation my little one gets there and the activities he's involved in. I'm happy with the app, that keeps me updated.

Our daughter has been attending Bright Horizons Chester since she was 7 months old (Dec 2018) and she settled really well and loves it here. The staff are all amazing and so caring and kind. Her communication has come on leaps and bounds and I love hearing about her day at pick-up time. It’s a happy, safe, reliable, clean and friendly nursery.

I had to get back to work when my son was four months old. It was very difficult to leave my loved one at such a young age. By day one I knew he was in the right place. The level of care and love he received were excellent. It was not only my son but I noticed that all the children being dropped off were very happy children - they just loved going to the nursery!

Excellent nursery. Very caring staff. My older kid attended and my youngest is currently attending and have been very happy. Highly recommended. Convenient location and time of drop off and collection for my work.

My daughter who is now in preschool.. has had the best time in this nursery. I think from 11months old, all the management and lovely teachers, have become like family to us both.. as I’m a single parent I know I can put my trust in the staff and feel like they're very close to us, my child skips to nursery each time and hugs all the members of staff. We would be lost without them... so professional, kind caring, love them all we do.

I feel very sad at the thought of my son leaving for school I will miss taking him.

It has been a pleasant experience to send my daughter to Bright Horizons Nursery. She is looked after well and she comes home happy and healthy. I have noticed a lot of improvement in her learning and communication since she has started the nursery. The staff is very loving and caring and she had no problem adjusting there. She wakes up happy in the morning to meet her friends and teachers. I can work in peace knowing my daughter is in a good place.
