Bright Horizons Clairmont Day Nursery and Preschool

The nursery always looks lovely. The staff are very friendly, caring and helpful. The management team are always happy to help. My son's development came on leaps and bounds since starting at Clairmont Day Nursery and Preschool and I would highly recommend the nursery to others.

My daughter has just started at Clairmont Day Nursery and Preschool she is very settled and happy when I drop her off. The staff in the baby unit are very friendly and attentive. The manager and deputy were amazing at supporting me with leaving her. You all do an amazing job. Thank you so much.

Me and my baby were welcomed in the baby unit. The management team and staff were fantastic with us (very friendly) I am very happy with the care.

Overall a decent nursery however showing signs of decline;My son joined the baby 1 unit 14 months ago and the ladies in the room were fantastic, really attentive and I felt comfortable for 4 days a week knowing that they really cared and connected with my boy. The transition to Baby 2 room was handled well and the staff were nice however there were many staff changes. My son had been in the baby room 2 for 7 months and despite my requests to see his development story, I have never received it. My son has just transitioned to Toddler 1, which was handled poorly in terms of the amount of times he visited and the timing of the transition. I can only assume that these declines are a result of poor management/direction with the staff and a lack of focus on learning/development which is why I've marked these points low. Its a shame that I've encountered these issues - with a few tweaks then I'm sure the rating would be far better as there are lots of good points about the nursery.

My son (4.5) and daughter (2.5) attend Clairmont Nursery and both are very happy and confident.

The nursery is well maintained and the staff are friendly and approachable and care for every child who attends the nursery.

The outdoor space is excellent at the nursery which has 2 gardens.

Disappointed at development to date, however following feedback this is starting to improve. Caring is very good, all girls are great.

Great bunch of people. My son always happy to be left and is now a struggle to take home at the end of the day. Eats all his food so it must taste good. They always go the extra mile with creative pictures/paints.

Both my children have attended Clairmont since the age of 1 and we love it. The care is fantastic and the staff are full of energy and positivity.

My daughter is very settled and enjoys coming in on a daily basis. Staff are professional, caring and able to meet her needs. No concerns.

Always friendly and professional. Made it easier for me to return to work part time as I felt my son's individual needs and well being were accounted for to a high standard. Lots of different activities and outside play. The staff consistency is high meaning they get to know all the children really well.

My 3 year old son has been at the nursery since May 2015 and my daughter has just started in the baby unit. Both settled really quickly and happily. The rooms are spacious and fully equipped with all the appropriate toys, plus the outdoor areas are fantastic. The staff are absolutely brilliant: really attentive, enthusiastic and open to suggestions/feedback. The mangers have also been really helpful and accommodating when I've needed extra adhoc sessions, which has been a life-saver. I would definitely recommend to others.

Great attention, care and enthusiasm from every person who looks after my child. Managers are very willing and have an "open door" any time I have needed to discuss anything.

All of the staff have been excellent caring for her and she surprises me everyday with what she has learnt. She loves seeing her friends, painting, drawing, and singing in the music class. Some days I think she would rather be at nursery full time than spend it at home with me!

The quality of food that is served is excellent so much so my daughter often eats seconds and thirds of her meals!

The nursery are always open to new ideas and they have lots of exciting activities planned for the next year to enhance the children's time at Clairmont.

The nursery is fantastic. We have had our children in 3 nurseries in the Manchester or Cheshire area and this is by far and away the best. We are extremely comfortable with our children in this nursery and they offer a brilliant, flexible service.

Clairmont is a fabulous nursery. We have been so happy with our choice and our daughter has been there for over a year now. She has received such wonderful care and really grown and changed thanks to the staff. They are so caring and kind and wonderful with the kids. We love the nursery and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Nice, airy, bright, clean nursery and very spacious and lovely outdoor space for children and lots of outdoor toys, compared to other nurseries in the area, my son enjoys attending nursery and seems to enjoy lunchtimes,

We are very happy with our choice of nursery. Our daughter attends full time and enjoys her time at Clairmont. She is proud to show us her work at the end of the day and she is coming on incredibly well. She starts school next year and the staff are preparing her for this teaching numbers and letters during fun activities. She gets to play in the lovely gardens and help look after the pet rabbit. The staff are very friendly and give thorough handovers to let you know what has happened throughout the day. I highly recommend the nursery.

After visiting most of the nurseries in the area, and my little boy hating every one of them, we walked into this one and it was an instant calm, relaxing and controlled area, with lovely helpful staff and very happy babies.

After being worried sick that my little boy would never be happy when I leave him, he now cries when I pick him up after his day at nursery. It is safe to say that he absolutely loves it. This has made the transition of going back to work very easy, knowing that he is cared for by highly trained, lovely staff, and that he loves being there.
