Bright Horizons Clairmont Nursery (formerly kidsunlimited) is conveniently located in Wilmslow. Part of the Bright Horizons portfolio, the nursery is a well-established nursery and opened over 30 years ago.

The nursery offers a flexible service to parents of children aged five and below, in a pleasant and secure facility containing a wide range of games and age-specific equipment to help children develop their early learning skills.

There are six well-resourced rooms to encourage children’s development and a dedicated baby nursery located in a separate unit, supporting the transition from home to nursery.

The nursery has a large secure outdoor garden space with a nature trail, and offers weekly Tune for Tots, Ministry 4 sport, pyjama drama, Spanish lessons and a trained Forest School leader takes the children on a six-week Forest School outdoor course which the children love!

Staff qualifications range from Early Years teaches and Staff with Early Childhood study degrees.

Staff have specific training accreditation with S.E.N – Special Educational Needs. To help those children that require a little extra assistance.

Baby room staff have additional and specific baby room training.

Parents breakfast bar from 07:30 – 10:00. 16:00 - 18:00 for parents to grab a hot drink & snack to go!

The nutritionally-balanced menu is produced onsite and the nursery holds a 5* Kitchen Food Hygiene rating. Fees include all meals and snacks, nappies, nappy cream, bottles and baby formula.

I'm really happy about Clairmont nursery. The staff is excellent. They take such good care of my daughter. When she's home, she can't stop talking about them. They have lots of activities throughout the day and the meals are excellent. I can't recommend this nursery enough.

I have three girls and all have attended Bright Horizons Clairmont over the years. What I have loved is that lots of the staff have been there for a long time (some have looked after all 3 of my girls over the years!) and there is a lovely, friendly atmosphere. The staff are all absolutely fantastic
and go the extra mile for the children, there is a genuine love and bond there which is lovely to see. I have always felt really happy to leave my children in their care and it is clear from how happy they are to go to nursery what a wonderful time they have there.
The nursery itself is lovely, clean and bright and is regularly refurbished and updated. I love that there is plenty of outdoor space and the children get lots of opportunity to play outside. The nursery puts a lot of effort into organising structured play and activities as well as enabling the children to free play and develop friendships.
I would highly recommend the nursery to everyone.

I cannot recommend this nursery and preschool enough.
Both my children have attended, and my daughter is now in the preschool, having joined at 1 in the baby room.
The staff get to know the children and really treat them as individuals. The rooms are spacious, and the numbers are smaller than other
nurseries.
The outside space is excellent, and they are always doing different activities.
My daughter has made some life long friends and asks to go on her days off!
The staff are well trained and friendly. They always care and give regular feedback. We will be sad to leave in July.

A fantastic nursery. All my four children have attended Clairmont, and they have all loved it. The staff are warm and caring, and my daughter does a huge range of fun activities whilst she is there. She always goes in with a smile.

Our daughter (14 months) joined the baby unit for 3.5 days per week here in June 2020 and we cannot recommend the nursery highly enough. She has a brilliant relationship with her key contact and all staff across the baby unit and wider nursery. The cooks provide a wide range of meals, with new ingredients
introduced to the babies regularly (pre-checked with parents). our daughter's development has come on leaps and bounds during the past 5 months through interaction with the team and other children across a host of different daily activities.
She has settled in really well thanks to the environment created at Clairmont - as parents our minds were put at ease from day 1 of our daughter joining and we couldn't be happier with the team and facilities! Thanks!

My daughter (14 months) is in her 3rd week at Clairmont and we couldn’t be happier. In the short time she has attended the nursery, she has settled really well, seems happy and confident and very comfortable with the team (as am I). When I pick her up in the afternoon, she is always smiling and jolly,
exhausted from her busy day. With Covid restrictions, we drop off and pick up at the door. The team always make time to talk to us about the events of the day, which we really appreciate. There’s also a lovely note in her bag daily, which lets us know what she has been learning about, playing with and eating along with nap times, nappies etc. We have already seen big leaps in our daughter's development as she’s learnt actions to songs and new social skills. We would highly recommend Clairmont to anyone looking at local nurseries.

Great nursery, both our children are very happy here. Key people are fantastic, making drop off’s easy. The meals always sound delicious and I'm happy to hear about all the fresh air they manage to get in the gardens, which both the boys seem to enjoy. We have just come to the end of our journey with Clairmont, having sent all three of our girls there over the last six years. It is great that over this time so many of the staff are still there and have looked after all three girls, including the support staff.
The team at the nursery have been fantastic
and our girls thoroughly enjoyed their time there. The outside space is particularly good, the all-weather surface means that a bit of rain doesn’t stop outdoor play. I also have to mention the chef too, one of my girls was particularly fussy and she went out of her way to make sure that her tastes were catered for so she too got a balanced diet.
I highly recommend Clairmont.

It’s our absolute pleasure to have our daughter at Clairmont Nursery. Everything about the setting is wonderful and the team go above and beyond to make her feel safe, comfortable and happy. We were very selective about where to send our daughter and Clairmont stood out head and shoulders above the
rest when we met everyone on our initial visit. Nearly two years on and we are still as happy as that excellent first impression. I couldn’t recommend this setting highly enough.

My daughter recently started nursery here, she has settled in fantastically and we always receive a warm friendly welcome in the morning. She is learning something new daily and amazes us with what she can do! The staff are always welcoming and willing to give us their undivided attention when we wish
to discuss our daughter & I know that she loves being at nursery and it is due to the excellent care she receives. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a caring family environment for their child to thrive in.

I have recently started my second child at nursery at just 9 months old. We have been welcomed by all the staff and my daughter has created strong bonds with the baby staff and gets excited when she arrives. Drop offs are now a doddle and it is clear that she loves her time at nursery & she is developing
new skills every day. The staff are always willing to listen to any concerns or queries we may have and give us the time and advice we sometimes need. I can't wait to watch my daughter flourish over the next few years.

An absolutely fantastic nursery; I couldn't be happier with it. The staff are all extremely caring, friendly and approachable. The staff attrition rate t is negligible, meaning you build relationships with all staff members (from the manager to the key workers, to the caretaker) from the word go. The
children are always entertained with extra activities (music, football, drama and PE.) They have parents evenings and regular reviews of children's progress, with suggestions for how nursery/parents can support learning. The indoor environment is lovely and homely. The children have access to a vast array of toys, technology and books. I love the outdoor environment, as it is set well back from any main roads and is surrounded by trees (great if you have a child with asthma). My 3 year old loves it and I'm looking forward to my 10-month-old starting nursery there too! All in all, a great nursery, with lots of activities, in a well thought out environment.

Great, welcoming and nurturing nursery with lovely staff who really care for and build great relationships with the children. All three of our children have been through the nursery starting from around 9m. Youngest is about to move up to pre-school. Provision is tailored well towards separate rooms,
and individual interests of the children really help to shape activities - even taking in a reading book from home, and activities developed through that week and beyond based on the child's interests in the book and the story. The main house has a lovely homely feel and suited us perfectly. Eldest two are now at school and were extremely well prepared socially and academically for the transition to reception. They moved up with confidence and had a head start in many areas of the curriculum thanks to the great experience at Clairmont. Most importantly, all of them have been super happy there and have really wanted to go to nursery. Huge peace of mind as a parent! Would really highly recommend.

From placing my little boy in the care of this nursery at 9 months old, I have never had cause to be disappointed and he is now nearly four.
I really feel like its a family environment where he learns and develops every day, yet still gets to have a great time. He comes home every day more confident
and constantly surprises me with the things he is learning. With a second baby on the way, I will have no hesitation sending another child there.
It's a wonderful environment, with a personal approach and as a family, we feel valued and counted. My little boy is safe, happy, has made friends and is looked after exceptionally well and the reassurance that gives us is priceless. In particular, we have been impressed with the Preschool.

The nursery has been amazing, especially with helping my daughter and I transition from maternity leave to a nursery routine.
The staff are very friendly and my daughter’s development has skyrocketed since starting at Clairmont. I couldn’t recommend Clairmont any more! It’s a fabulous nursery.

We have two children at this nursery and we love it. The nursery and staff are amazing.
Both our children have lovely key workers and always come home really happy.
They encourage them to learn and really enjoy all activities.
The children all get along really well and they all become such a nice
group of friends and love playing together.
Both my children love going to nursery and the staff have made them and us so welcome.
I would recommend this nursery.

Holding a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education and a Level 5 in Team Management, Ang is deeply committed to creating a warm, supportive environment where every child feels safe and valued.


Passionate about early learning and development, Ang works closely with the team to ensure Clairmont is a fun, inspiring place where children can explore, grow, and flourish.

Job Title: Deputy Manager (Maternity cover) Joined: 2014

Kirsty began her journey with Bright Horizons in 2014 as part of the bank team while studying at university. After graduating with a Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Studies, she joined the team as a full-time Nursery Nurse in the Rising 3’s room.


Shortly after, Kirsty moved to the Baby Unit, where she progressed through roles including Deputy Room Leader, Room Leader, and Third in Charge.


Kirsty is passionate about working alongside families to build secure attachments and strong parent partnerships, ensuring every child receives the very best start in their early years.
