Bright Horizons Clairmont Nursery (formerly kidsunlimited) is conveniently located in Wilmslow. Part of the Bright Horizons portfolio, the nursery is a well-established nursery and opened over 30 years ago.

The nursery offers a flexible service to parents of children aged five and below, in a pleasant and secure facility containing a wide range of games and age-specific equipment to help children develop their early learning skills.

There are six well-resourced rooms to encourage children’s development and a dedicated baby nursery located in a separate unit, supporting the transition from home to nursery.

The nursery has a large secure outdoor garden space with a nature trail, and offers weekly Tune for Tots, Ministry 4 sport, pyjama drama, Spanish lessons and a trained Forest School leader takes the children on a six-week Forest School outdoor course which the children love!

Staff qualifications range from Early Years teaches and Staff with Early Childhood study degrees.

Staff have specific training accreditation with S.E.N – Special Educational Needs. To help those children that require a little extra assistance.

Baby room staff have additional and specific baby room training.

Parents breakfast bar from 07:30 – 10:00. 16:00 - 18:00 for parents to grab a hot drink & snack to go!

The nutritionally-balanced menu is produced onsite and the nursery holds a 5* Kitchen Food Hygiene rating. Fees include all meals and snacks, nappies, nappy cream, bottles and baby formula.

We count ourselves lucky that we found this school for our young man! The team have been unbelievable, we came from overseas and they did everything to get our son settled in and he has thrived under the excellent care and attention of all of the teachers. He loves school and his friends and is a confident,
outgoing little boy. We will be so sad to leave in September when it is time for big school!

The nursery and staff are wonderful.
We have two children at the nursery who both really enjoy it there and settled in with no problems.
The staff are very helpful and caring and nothing is too much trouble.

My Grandson joined the Baby Unit at this nursery a few months ago and he absolutely loves it! From the healthy meals, outdoor space to all the activities he participates in, he is truly thriving. The staff are tremendous and really helped whilst my Daughter was settling him into his new environment.
They are warm, caring and show true passion in their job re-creating a real home from home life which is exactly what drew my Daughter to this Nursery. Thank you for making my Grandson's Nursery life so wonderful, you all are fantastic!

We have had an excellent experience with this nursery over the years, it’s clear to see how hard the team work on a daily basis to ensure all of the children in their care are happy and developing. It makes going to work every day a lot easier knowing your children are in such great care!

My daughter left Clairmont for school in August and we have been very pleased with the preparation the nursery and preschool did for her moving on to her next class. The packed lunch and sports kit dress up were great ideas and fun for the children.
She has been at the nursery since she was nine months
old and has really enjoyed her time there - the staff have been very caring and nurturing and it has been a lovely environment for her to grow up in. We already miss the nursery a lot and go back to visit regularly and keep in touch with everyone.

My granddaughter has attended this nursery since she was 4 months old, I have watched her grow and develop in so many ways. The girls are all so friendly and the activities and artwork that she comes home with are lovely. She always has a fantastic day, I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

We were in the area for a week and needed childcare for our son (one and a half years old). Initially, we were worried that he'd be very upset to be left in a completely new place with no warning or adaptation period, but he settled in straight away and was cheerful there, even on the first day. We
have no doubt that he adapted so quickly because of the warm, caring staff at Clairmont Nursery. They were exemplary - naturals at caring for children, and really seeming to enjoy their job. After the week was over, we were honestly sad we weren't based in the area and able to send our son there all the time!

I always feel confident when leaving my little boy in the mornings, even when he is unsettled. I know that he feels safe and will settle shortly after I leave, usually with the help of some breakfast. I know that his needs will be catered for, along with the individual needs of each child in the setting.

Our son has been attending Clairmont since he was 16 months old (he is now 4 years old). We cannot praise the nursery, the manager and staff enough. Clairmont is managed greatly, the staff genuinely care for our son. They always put his and our family needs at the centre of his care. We love the nursery
so much that instead of choosing one that is closer we will be driving our daughter to the same nursery (20 minutes drive each way). Our son has come on leaps and bounds since joining!

We have my twin sons going to Clairmont since 2015. The will start their reception in September. This is definitely an excellent nursery. Staff working in Clairmont are very responsible, nice and friendly. Our sons were always happy and safe in the nursery and they enjoyed being there. Our great satisfactions
could not be achieved without the full dedication of the team and the manager.
The outdoor play ground is great and safe. Activities planned are diverse and full of fun.
The graduation party they organised was also very nice.

Clairmont Day Nursery is fantastic, both me and my partner are really happy and our daughter has really settled in well into baby 1.
The staff are so helpful and really go the extra mile to make sure the children and parents are happy. They are always happy, smiling and create a safe and welcoming
environment for the children. Whenever either myself or my partner have been in, all the children are engaged and happy.
The activities that she does at the nursery are really stimulating and you can see from the many photos that are sent home that she is really enjoying herself!!
I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents!

Having recently moved to Wilmslow from Surrey and transferred from another nursery (which we absolutely loved) we've been very warmly welcomed by all at Clairmont. Both the management and room leader have helped ensure the transition for our little girl has been seamless and stress-free for both her
and us as parents. We've been impressed by the range of activities on offer (I.e fizzy tots, pyjama drama, music lady) and the quality and variety of facilities on offer. All staff have. When warm, caring and friendly and can't do enough to help. We've also been impressed by the flexibility of options with regards to childcare. A big thank you to all.

My daughter has been at Clairmont for nearly 4 years, during her time she has become a confident and happy child. The range of activities she does are varied and well structured and she enjoys the extracurricular activities as much. The staff are friendly and helpful and always happy to talk through
any issues or problems when and if they arise. We will be sad to leave Clairmont but know that our daughter has received the best start.

Both of my daughters have attended this nursery and it has been a lovely experience with both.


The staff are wonderful and I've always felt there has been a personal connection between my daughters and each of their 'key-workers'.


The office staff have also been amazing in terms of helping me

out with last minute day-changes, as my working days are never the same from one week to the next.


All in all, the whole experience has been brilliant for my daughters and myself, and the staff have played huge roles in my daughters' development.

My baby boy now attends this nursery and he is just as happy there as I am. From the first show around to starting, the environment was a home from home - making the hard decision of putting my baby into nursery a lot easier! The staff are warm and inviting and have settled my son in with lots of love

The care at this nursery is fantastic. My little girl has just started in the baby unit. She is happy when we pick her up each day. The staff are brilliant at catering for needs, I was concerned at first about leaving her at such a young age but the girls have really settled my fears. I get a good hand
over at collection and always know what she has been up to.

Ang has been part of Bright Horizons for over twenty years, gaining extensive experience and training throughout this time.


Holding a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education and a Level 5 in Team Management, Ang is deeply committed to creating a warm, supportive environment where every child feels safe and valued.


Passionate about early learning and development, Ang works closely with the team to ensure Clairmont is a fun, inspiring place where children can explore, grow, and flourish.

Job Title: Deputy Manager (Maternity cover) Joined: 2014

Kirsty began her journey with Bright Horizons in 2014 as part of the bank team while studying at university. After graduating with a Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Studies, she joined the team as a full-time Nursery Nurse in the Rising 3’s room.


Shortly after, Kirsty moved to the Baby Unit, where she progressed through roles including Deputy Room Leader, Room Leader, and Third in Charge.


Kirsty is passionate about working alongside families to build secure attachments and strong parent partnerships, ensuring every child receives the very best start in their early years.
