Bright Horizons Clairmont Day Nursery and Preschool

We moved to the area when our eldest was in the last stage of Rising 3s and then had a full year of Pre-school. Our youngest then also started in The Baby Room. The team came highly recommended from parents who'd had multiple kids go through the classes too. I have come to place complete trust in the team and am eternally grateful for the fantastic start they gave my son, and continue to provide for my daughter. Through the close working relationships with the local primary schools the transition worked well and gave us a door into the local community. Not all been smooth but any bites/fights/illness/bumps & bruises that happen with kids, has been dealt with properly & professionally. The app is excellent for checking in on pics throughout the day and messaging the staff if ever needed. I can wholeheartedly say we'll be going back to the summer fair fundraiser after the kids have left to continue to support them.

Both the nursery and its staff are absolutely fantastic. Having already had our eldest go from the baby room through to graduating pre-school we thought we'd seen the best of what the nursery can offer. Second time round with our youngest and the team still amaze us with their incredible warmth, care, enthusiasm for learning and creativity. Wouldn't be able to recommend higher.

You won't find a better nursery in the area than Bright Horizons Clairmont Day Nursery and Preschool. My little boy has attended the nursery from the age of 11 months in Baby 1 and is now due to leave for school in September. I could not have wished for a better nursery for him to have attended.

I know my eldest will be sad to leave when she goes to primary school but will have had the best foundation in preparation for school thanks to Bright Horizons.

My child has been at Bright Horizons Clairmont Day Nursery and Preschool for four years and it has been a brilliant experience since day one. Every staff member is caring, kind, works to a high standard and treats your child as if it was their own. I cannot fault this nursery. Located in a beautiful building with outdoor space, it has a family feel which has suited our son. He has thrived here and we will all be sad to see him leave when he goes to school!

The app is a great tool also to keep us updated with activities throughout the week.

Clairmont is a wonderful setting, we couldn’t be happier with our choice of nursery for our children.

We’ve been so impressed with this nursery. They care about our child’s welfare and development. The staff are so knowledgable and caring. All staff are brilliant and the activities have brought our son out of his shell. The food menu is varied and includes everything our child could possibly need nutritionally, he seems to eat most things given at nursery which is amazing. The app is so handy and makes things a lot easier, other friends with children at other nurseries don’t have the app which provides live information and pictures about your child’s day. You can also communicate through the app with your child’s key worker. The outdoor play is beneficial and you can tell everything has been so well thought out. Pleased with our child’s transition into nursery life here at Clairmont and were happy we chose to put our child in their care.

Looking at the food which the children are given, I’d be happy to be offered a menu like that.

We absolutely love Bright Horizons Clairmont. Both of my children attended from babies to pre-school and are always well cared for and happy. The communications are great, the staff are lovely and the kids love it. My son has very complex dietary needs that they have handled brilliantly.

Our 2-year-old is absolutely thriving at Clairmont! He’s happy to go to nursery every day, and we can really see improvements in his speech/overall language skills. The staff that we have dealt with so far in the baby and toddler unit have been lovely and always take the time to speak to you at the end of each day to let you know how your child has been throughout the day. Despite being part of a large corporation, Clairmont really has a family feel to it and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to send their child to a nursery in the area.

This nursery has been nothing short of outstanding for my little boy. The staff go above and beyond to care for, nurture and educate every child. The professional yet personable approach with parents is exceptional. I particularly love the intergenerational and ethnically diverse workforce. The facilities and food are also fantastic. We will be very sorry to say goodbye when our little one goes to school!

We’ve had an excellent service from Bright Horizons Clairmont. Initially, I was really worried about my daughter not settling in and being quite selective on who she would settle with and they did a great job of making me and her comfortable and she now toddles in without looking back everyday. She’s well looked after and well fed and her development is coming on fantastically. They’re also great at looking after her when she isn’t feeling 100% and unlike others I’ve heard of I have yet to receive a call to come and bring her home despite her teething and having the regular nursery bugs. The app updates are really helpful and all the staff have been lovely.

Bright Horizons, Clairmont encourages independent thinkers, confidence and relationship building; our daughter is thriving at Bright Horizons!

As an early-years specialist teacher, I am so impressed by the quality and breadth of experiences provided by the staff at Clairmont. The management and staff so obviously care for all of the children and watching them interact with each other are just lovely. Both of my children have attended Clairmont and it will always be the nursery I recommend to anyone. My daughter absolutely loves it and transitions between rooms have been managed seamlessly. The way the environment inside and outside is set out is thoughtful and inviting and I always feel so positive about dropping her off every morning. Her development has without a doubt thrived due to the support of all the staff here.

My little boy started in the baby room and is currently in Rising three’s. The staff are all very welcoming and reassuring. The nursery provides various activities which my son loves to take part in. I love seeing his development grow as he continues his journey with Bright Horizons, Clairmont. I recently attended the Mother’s Day afternoon which we both loved. It was great to experience watching my son in his environment talking to his friends and having me there to show me around. Overall, I am so pleased with the progress my son has made since joining and he will hopefully continue here and move into the preschool.

We couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery and would reccomend to anyone looking for a great start for their little one!

Rising 3's do a great job at preparing kids for school. They help to bring out the best in children. The communication between the team is very good. Our child is very happy at Clairmont.

Would thoroughly recommend this nursery. Both my children absolutely love it it’s like home from home and they are so welcoming and loving towards each child. They do different activities every day and the app is fantastic at keeping you updated on how your child’s doing. Can’t fault them in any way.

I can’t recommend this nursery enough. My eldest daughter, now in Y2 at school, went here from being a baby through to pre school and now my youngest daughter (currently in pre school but has been attending since she was a baby). The staff are so caring and attentive, the management are amazing, communication is excellent, the children get lovely home cooked food and they do such fantastic activities with the children. They’re so good at preparing the children for school, both from an educational perspective as well as from a confidence/independence perspective. It’s 5 stars from us.
