Bright Horizons Clairmont Nursery (formerly kidsunlimited) is conveniently located in Wilmslow. Part of the Bright Horizons portfolio, the nursery is a well-established nursery and opened over 30 years ago.

The nursery offers a flexible service to parents of children aged five and below, in a pleasant and secure facility containing a wide range of games and age-specific equipment to help children develop their early learning skills.

There are six well-resourced rooms to encourage children’s development and a dedicated baby nursery located in a separate unit, supporting the transition from home to nursery.

The nursery has a large secure outdoor garden space with a nature trail, and offers weekly Tune for Tots, Ministry 4 sport, pyjama drama, Spanish lessons and a trained Forest School leader takes the children on a six-week Forest School outdoor course which the children love!

Staff qualifications range from Early Years teaches and Staff with Early Childhood study degrees.

Staff have specific training accreditation with S.E.N – Special Educational Needs. To help those children that require a little extra assistance.

Baby room staff have additional and specific baby room training.

Parents breakfast bar from 07:30 – 10:00. 16:00 - 18:00 for parents to grab a hot drink & snack to go!

The nutritionally-balanced menu is produced onsite and the nursery holds a 5* Kitchen Food Hygiene rating. Fees include all meals and snacks, nappies, nappy cream, bottles and baby formula.

The setting is beautiful, toys and equipment are to kept to a high standard, but it is the staff that make this nursery. A genuine warmth gives us comfort knowing that they take time to really get to know the personality and needs of each individual child. Each room transition is done with care and
kindness, while also providing reassurance for parents.
The app is a welcome and efficient way to communicate with staff and see what your child is up to, but is also nice to know staff are at the end of the phone too!
The daily activities are always engaging and creative, such as ‘Glasto-baby’, Halloween patches, forest school, yoga! We really enjoy the story of the month, as it’s something we can reiterate at home. We particularly appreciate the diversity that is celebrated here; Diwali, Chinese New Year, Burns Night, sparking something new to talk about each day.

As an early-years specialist teacher, I am so impressed by the quality and breadth of experiences provided by the staff at Clairmont. The management and staff so obviously care for all of the children and watching them interact with each other are just lovely. Both of my children have attended Clairmont
and it will always be the nursery I recommend to anyone. My daughter absolutely loves it and transitions between rooms have been managed seamlessly. The way the environment inside and outside is set out is thoughtful and inviting and I always feel so positive about dropping her off every morning. Her development has without a doubt thrived due to the support of all the staff here.

My little boy started in the baby room and is currently in Rising three’s. The staff are all very welcoming and reassuring. The nursery provides various activities which my son loves to take part in. I love seeing his development grow as he continues his journey with Bright Horizons, Clairmont. I recently
attended the Mother’s Day afternoon which we both loved. It was great to experience watching my son in his environment talking to his friends and having me there to show me around. Overall, I am so pleased with the progress my son has made since joining and he will hopefully continue here and move into the preschool.

My little boy has attended Bright Horizons Clairmont Day Nursery and Preschool since he was 9 months old and is now thriving in toddlers.
Leaving your child in nursery can be so daunting, however, we have always felt really comfortable that the care, kindness and fun our little one has there is second
to none!
The staff are fabulous and a real asset to the nursery. They have always all taken the time to learn his little ways and supported him to develop into the chatty, independent and happy little boy he is. We love listening to him chat about all his friends and his key workers (who he adores) at pick-up.
As parents, we are kept up to date with his day via the app and the team takes the time to share pictures of their adventures during the day. The activities they do are very varied and we often get invited to special events like Christmas parties, Mother's Day crafts and summer festivals!
We couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery and would reccomend to anyone looking for a great start for their little one!

We have two very happy children at Bright Horizons Clairmont Day Nursery and Preschool. We have been really impressed with the great indoor and outdoor facilities, activities and friendly and professional staff members. From the moment I first stepped inside the main building, I really liked the atmosphere
and general vibe (and much more than other places I had visited). There is a real sense of community at our nursery, built on trust and family values.

Would thoroughly recommend this nursery. Both my children absolutely love it it’s like home from home and they are so welcoming and loving towards each child. They do different activities every day and the app is fantastic at keeping you updated on how your child’s doing. Can’t fault them in any way.

I can’t recommend this nursery enough. My eldest daughter, now in Y2 at school, went here from being a baby through to pre school and now my youngest daughter (currently in pre school but has been attending since she was a baby). The staff are so caring and attentive, the management are amazing, communication
is excellent, the children get lovely home cooked food and they do such fantastic activities with the children. They’re so good at preparing the children for school, both from an educational perspective as well as from a confidence/independence perspective. It’s 5 stars from us.

I cannot recommend Bright Horizons, Clairmont, enough! The staff are so caring, attentive and proactive. My little girl has come on leaps and bounds and asks every day if she’s going to nursery in the hopes she will. Her speech has gone through the roof in the last few weeks as has her awareness of

Bright Horizons, Clairmont is a wonderful nursery. My daughter has attended for the past three years and now my son has joined too. They both love going to nursery and have progressed amazingly thanks to the nurturing, caring and attentive staff. Their focus on development is second to none and I am

My son has been attending this nursery since he was 1 year old. Over the past 12 months, his development in terms of social interaction, speech and learning under a controlled structure, has been something that, as a parent, makes me incredibly happy. I like seeing the updates on the app, showing the
real activities the children do. I trust the staff implicitly. My son has moved rooms a few times and the process has been smooth and while we had been concerned as parents, the transition has gone well. I cannot recommend this nursery and its staff, highly enough.

We have been consistently happy with Clairmont and their care of our daughter, over the last four years. So much so, that our son has also recently started with the nursery. I haven’t had a moment of worry since he joined. Both of our children are very happy. All members of the team are incredibly caring
and ensure the children have fun whilst they are learning. I have been particularly impressed with how they prepare the children for their school transition. The staff clearly enjoy their jobs and have a happy working environment. They also make your life easy as a working parent, which I know is not the norm across other nurseries!

My little boy is 20 months and has been attending Clairmont since he was 11 months old. I've never had a problem dropping him off, he is always happy to go inside! The staff are very caring towards him, but also professional. I feel like he is in safe hands and his development is taken seriously. We

My son has been attending Bright Horizons Clairmont since he was 18 months. He is now age four and in preschool at Clairmont. He absolutely loves attending preschool four days a week to the point that at weekends he gets up and asks if he can go to preschool. He has built great relationships with all
of his carers in the preschool room and treats them, and his classmates, as his second family. He even talks highly about the cook! This brings great comfort to me and my husband and we are hoping that he enjoys school just as much. He will truly miss everyone at Clairmont. The team at Clairmont have built a fun learning environment and it is a real shame that we, as parents, have been unable to go inside the nursery for the last twelve months due to Covid and see our children thrive in the environment the team have built. We love our nursery and without hesitation, we registered a place for our second baby as soon as we could.
The positive experience and learning journey whilst at nursery from 6 months to 4 years prepared our son for reception; he is a confident and inquisitive little boy who loves to learn.
Children
at the nursery are encouraged to learn through play with access to wonderful outdoor areas including a forest school and a planting area.
Both of our children love to role play and to read, their imaginations being nurtured and encouraged at nursery.
My husband and I are able to focus on our careers knowing that our children are receiving the best possible education and opportunities at nursery - Thank you!

I can't praise Bright Horizons Clairmont enough. The staff, in particular, are their greatest asset. Lovely environment, great learning opportunities. But most of all the care, kindness, attention and input from the staff team. I'll be devastated when my son leaves this nurturing, holistic environment.
He has thrived there and been given everything from cuddles and counting to Spanish lessons and yoga.

My son has attended Clairmont since October 2020, he is currently in the baby room. Although I am unable to enter the nursery at the moment due to Covid I have felt fully informed of every aspect of his day and his progress and it is clear he is very happy and settled. He has a lovely relationship with
his key person who I have also spoken to virtually to share information on his nursery experiences. The nursery sends lots of communication home so we are made aware of upcoming events and all of the staff are so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. My son loves the food at nursery and I am often told he has eaten seconds which is great! Thank you to everyone for making returning to work so easy and for supporting my son so well with his home to nursery transition.

Holding a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education and a Level 5 in Team Management, Ang is deeply committed to creating a warm, supportive environment where every child feels safe and valued.

Job Title: Deputy Manager (Maternity cover) Joined: 2014

Kirsty began her journey with Bright Horizons in 2014 as part of the bank team while studying at university. After graduating with a Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Studies, she joined the team as a full-time Nursery Nurse in the Rising 3’s room.


Shortly after, Kirsty moved to the Baby Unit, where she progressed through roles including Deputy Room Leader, Room Leader, and Third in Charge.


Kirsty is passionate about working alongside families to build secure attachments and strong parent partnerships, ensuring every child receives the very best start in their early years.
