Bright Horizons Warrington Day Nursery and Preschool provides exceptional childcare for children from 3 months to 5 years in a beautiful setting at the David Lloyd Club in Great Sankey, near Warrington.

They are conveniently located within the catchment areas of primary schools like Old Hall, St. Phillips, Barrow Hall, and Penketh South schools.

Situated entirely on the ground floor, their nursery offers easy accessibility for everyone. Children over 1 year old have the opportunity to explore and play in their secure and inviting garden daily. As part of the David Lloyd Centre, they have exclusive access to their dance studio and tennis courts for a variety of extracurricular activities.

Their preschool room is equipped with modern technology, such as an interactive whiteboard and a touchscreen computer, enhancing the learning experience. To ease the transition, they offer up to 8 weeks of settling-in sessions before your child officially starts, helping to establish a strong connection between your child, their key person, and you.

And while your child is engaged in fun and exploration, they keep you informed through their Family app. Accessible to all Bright Horizons parents, this app keeps you connected to your child's daily activities and progress throughout their time with the nursery.

My daughter has recently started in baby room, she has settled well and has developed strong relationships with all the staff within the room. She is always excited when we arrive and loves socialising with her friends developing new skills. I would and have recommended the nursery to others. My eldest
daughter also attended from being 9months top attending school and I hope the same for my other daughter.

Our daughter has settled into this nursery extremely well which is due to the excellent standard of staff who have been welcoming and supportive to both our daughter and us. The nursery always maintains a high standard of learning activities linked to the Early Years curriculum. We are additionally
given constant feedback about our child's development. All the staff do an excellent job and my daughter loves coming to nursery.

My daughter is so happy at nursery, she loves being there. She often talks about the staff and children at the home. The learning that takes place is outstanding and I truly believe the nursery has made her the confident, happy and talkative little girl she is.

My daughter is looked after with such care and is always welcomed into the room with a warm presence. My daughter has begun to sing 1-10 on her fingers and sings it in french too. She loves coming to nursery and her confidence has grown hugely. My daughter is keen to tell me in her own words and actions
about her day in such excitement.
Everybody in the nursery are very kind, approachable and caring.

Our son has been at Asquith since he was 7 months old. I could never imagine leaving him anywhere else. The staff are so lovely and I am happy knowing he's in the safest environment.
I'd be happy sending all my children here. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough.

Today's Christmas event has been fabulous. It can be seen that the staff really care about their work and the children. This nursery is exemplary and I've found that no others I have visited compare. We have nothing but positive things to tell others when talking about it. I have loved seeing my son's
journey which is, unfortunately, ending soon but we now get to see our daughter take on the same journey and we are looking forward to it.

Our son has settled into toddler 1 brilliantly. The staff are all great with him and he has some lovely bonds with the staff and other children alike. He has great fun in his room but is also learning so much. His speech is coming along really well. The staff show him lots of affection and care so I
don't need to worry about him when he is there.
His key worker is great. Always keeps us updated on his progress and obviously cares greatly for the children. She has encouraged and taught him Makaton which we continue at home - this has been brilliant. His key worker is always keen to involve our older daughter in his progress which is a lovely touch.

What a fantastic place for children to learn and grow. Our daughter has been in the pre-school room since Sept'16 and loves it so much that she even asks to go at the weekend.
She has learnt so much in such a short space of time and loves all the children and staff.
I have no doubt that this is the
best place for her to be and cannot wait for my little boy to start in a year's time.

Becky

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Becky has worked in Early Years for over 20 years and holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, along with further qualifications including a Level 5 in Leadership and Management and a BA in Early Years. Over the years, she has gained valuable experience across various roles within nursery settings.


With more than 12 years of management experience, Becky is a compassionate and supportive leader committed to delivering high-quality care and education. She is passionate about children’s learning and development, creating purposeful experiences that help each child reach their full potential. Drawing on her advanced qualifications, she actively mentors and supports her team to become the best early years practitioners they can be.


Outside of work, Becky enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter, often enjoying family outings and days together.

Amy

Amy

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Amy has worked in a variety of childcare settings since 2003, beginning her career as a nursery assistant while studying for her NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and the Early Years. Over time, she has steadily progressed in her career, eventually stepping into the role of Deputy Manager.


To support her in this role, Amy has completed a range of additional training, including Designated Safeguarding Lead and Level 2 Awareness of Mental Health in both children and adults.


She has previously worked for Bright Horizons and had a wonderful experience, so she is absolutely delighted to be returning to the Warrington nursery. Amy is passionate about giving every child the best possible start in life by providing exciting and engaging learning opportunities.


She is really looking forward to working alongside Emma and the fantastic team at Warrington, as well as getting to know all the wonderful families.


Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves taking her two dogs for walks around the local area and exploring new places.
