Bright Horizons Warrington Day Nursery and Preschool provides exceptional childcare for children from 3 months to 5 years in a beautiful setting at the David Lloyd Club in Great Sankey, near Warrington.

Situated entirely on the ground floor, their nursery offers easy accessibility for everyone. Children over 1 year old have the opportunity to explore and play in their secure and inviting garden daily. As part of the David Lloyd Centre, they have exclusive access to their dance studio and tennis courts for a variety of extracurricular activities.

Their preschool room is equipped with modern technology, such as an interactive whiteboard and a touchscreen computer, enhancing the learning experience. To ease the transition, they offer up to 8 weeks of settling-in sessions before your child officially starts, helping to establish a strong connection between your child, their key person, and you.

The nursery have been so lovely and very wonderful with my kids. My daughter has been at the nursery since she was 2 years old and my son from 6 months and are now 4 and 2 respectively. I have also seen so much progress in their development and education. I have truly loved the standard that all staff
have done in caring for my kids. Each and every day I pick up the kids, the teachers always take time to inform me of my kids' day. I love the way they have encouraged and nurtured my daughter’s love for swimming, tennis and general outdoor activities. All these are also uploaded onto the nursery app where stories and pictures are also captured and shared with parents. Absolutely amazing. Teachers are ever so friendly with both kids and parents. I definitely rate the nursery a 10/10.

My daughter has attended this nursery for the past 4 weeks and she has settled brilliantly. She is always happy to come to nursery which makes my day so much better when going to work. The staff are amazing with her and I feel they have really got to know her very well. She has a food intolerance and

Wonderful setting, well organized and intact and clean environment all the time with the amount of toddlers they got in there. Honestly, the staff doesn’t stop working whenever I go there. Overall am impressed with set-up systems and all the staff. My daughter loves going to nursery and she is always
excited to tell me about her day and who her friends are. She adores all of her teachers and never wants to come home which I see as positive knowing that she is happy and learning new things all the time. They even send home a learning bag for us parents to complete over the weekend which are always fun and exciting for her to do.

Staff are so welcoming and take great care of my daughter and gave her the care and attention she needed to make her feel content, she has a great time and comes home happy and asks to go back to play.

All of the staff are excellent with our daughter, she was welcomed brilliantly from the first day and she settled really well thanks to them. She loves going to nursery and her speech and understanding has come on so well. The variety of activities they do with the children and the learning opportunities

A fantastic nursery! Lovely facilities, friendly, capable and educated staff. Great app which keeps us informed of what the little ones are getting up to during the day. Always available to speak to or contact whenever needed. Flexible approach with additional days. Menu is great and varied. Our little
one has just started swimming lessons within the nursery setting which is an added bonus. We have a very active three-year-old and she is very happy going into nursery and we know she is busy playing with friends, learning new things and most importantly cared for.

The kindest staff, and the best teaching. My son is so happy at nursery and I can see for myself with the videos and photos they post! They know all the children so well, it's very personal and the staff all genuinely care and love the children. It makes going to work so much easier and I don't feel
a bit guilty because I know he's having a wonderful time. We've seen a massive progression in my son's development and he is always pushed to be the best he can be and encouraged to be himself at the same time.

The team at Bright Horizons are amazing! They have been an extended part of our family for over 5 years and both my children have loved their time there. During lockdown, they did everything they could to help the children feel settled and at ease in a new location
I felt appropriate steps were taken
to enable us to have much-needed childcare support whilst being covid safe (well as much as you can be). The team are all great and truly care about the children from babies up to preschool and it’s given my eldest a strong launchpad to school. Would definitely recommend.

When deciding for the best nursery for our twins (more than a year ago), like any parent we listened to reviews/regulator’s assessments. etc. Bright Horizons with an Outstanding Ofsted score did stand out.
Well, 10-11 months in now, we honestly could not have made a better choice! and as parents feel
very fortunate to have found this nursery!
Our kids have a truly ‘second’ home where they are genuinely looked after and loved, and as a parent, this is a blessing. The staff are exceptional. They are professional and caring, and it is remarkable the dedication they would go for our kid's development; from daily briefs to monthly targets. As we have dual nationality, we teach our kids greek words at home; it was admirable when their teacher offered to support with this learning development during nursery hours; a testament to the staff dedication, willingness to go the extra ‘mile’. Besides any Oftsed scores, we evaluate this nursery as OUTSTANDING and should be highly commended!!!

My daughter attends Bright Horizons and I cannot recommend them highly enough, since joining my daughters confidence has grown massively, her speech has come on in huge amounts and she has learnt so much in her time there. The staff are incredible and are classed as my daughters 'best friends' (in her
own words) and they are very helpful and informative on everything that is taking place. She settled in so well and is ever so excited to go to nursery every single morning and tell the staff all about her evenings or weekends. I feel so confident and secure sending her here and I wouldn't have her anywhere else, I can't speak highly enough of the setting and the team. All of the activities look fun, engaging and educational along with healthy meals provided and a clean and secure environment. I cannot thank the staff enough and would absolutely recommend the nursery to everyone.

Our daughter has picked up English very fast, and we are pleased. She enjoys and loves going to the nursery. Staff and Management are great. Good communication with parents and you can see what the kids have been doing through the app they have so you can keep track even if you work a lot of hours.

Bright Horizons is a fantastic nursery and pre-school. We recently moved to the area and our daughter joined pre-school. She is quite shy and quiet but has developed amazingly in terms of conversation, social interaction and making friends and has really grown in confidence. The settling sessions offered
to accommodate the individual needs of your child and the manager and the team are extremely flexible which is great.
It’s a fabulous setting with a great outdoor space as well as indoor.
The staff are all fantastic. They are caring and nurturing and encourage children to learn through play.
Meals are nutritious and varied too.
The new app is brilliant as we get to see what our children are doing each day.
The manager is also excellent in terms of leadership and her approach to running the nursery. She is always willing to spend time with parents and ensure us that our children are happy.
Overall it’s a wonderful nursery and pre-school where we feel happy and confident sending our child there.

Warrington day nursery is a great nursery for my child. The facilities are good with a large range of activities for the children including an outside area. The staff are amazing, very helpful and caring. They will answer any questions or concerns you have and are very helpful. They have recently introduced
an app that can detail your child's day in the nursery from food eaten to activities/learning they have done. The meal plan is very good giving a wide range of cooked meals. They also provide photos on the app (if you provide permission) and still give a good handover at pickup time.


The staff are very accomodating with the days my child goes, due to shift patterns, but if we give the days in enough notice they are very flexible which is a massive help.


My child has come on leaps and bounds in a lot of aspects of her personality and development whilst being at Warrington day nursery and I can't recommend the nursery enough.

Our lovely neighbours recommended Bright Horizons inside a Leisure Club as their little boy goes there. We loved everything about it when we did an initial visit. We especially loved the friendliness of the staff. The manager is lovely, as are the other staff members. They are obviously passionate about
what they do and this shines through when you see them interacting with the children.
It feels like nothing is too much, and we especially love seeing pictures of our Son on the app whilst we're at work.
Our Son has a cows milk allergy and we are currently keeping a food diary for him. Every day he is in nursery a member of staff gives us a breakdown of what he's eaten and how it's affected his tummy.
We use reusable nappies and this was no issue at all when we first mentioned it to the staff.
Our Son loves his keyworker and always comes away with a big smile on his face.


Overall the nursery and staff are absolutely amazing and thank you! Honestly, we couldn't ask for more

My daughter has been attending this nursery for over 12 months now and I highly recommend it due to the high standards of the setting and the staff. They are attentive and caring and I felt that my daughter was in good hands which were so important to me as I was really worried about leaving her at
first. The food is of good quality and standard and the progress my daughter has made with her development in all areas is exceptional. I have nothing but positive things to say and highly recommend this nursery.

We can’t rate the nursery highly enough. They have been brilliant with our two girls since they started at the beginning of the year. With my second daughter being born in lockdown she hadn’t been with many other people but the nursery staff made her and myself feel so comfortable. The new app is fantastic
and we have daily photographs and updates. It’s lovely to see pictures of them both throughout the day. The food that they are given is healthy and my girls have never eaten so well or tried so many new things! They cater the activities to meet the interests of the children and every day there are new exciting and educational activities planned. Thank you to all the staff at Bright Horizons.

Our daughter has been attending Bright Horizons Warrington day nursery for 12 months now and absolutely loves it, she has come on leaps and bounds. I have found the staff to be very friendly, informative and caring towards our daughter. Any concerns and they let you know straight away.
The manager
is fantastic and approachable which puts you at ease.
They have a wide range of activities that the children partake in, increasing their development all the time.
The menu they provide is nutritional and varies daily.
I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends. Thank you for all your hard work.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Becky has worked in Early Years for over 20 years and holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, along with further qualifications including a Level 5 in Leadership and Management and a BA in Early Years. Over the years, she has gained valuable experience across various roles within nursery settings.


With more than 12 years of management experience, Becky is a compassionate and supportive leader committed to delivering high-quality care and education. She is passionate about children’s learning and development, creating purposeful experiences that help each child reach their full potential. Drawing on her advanced qualifications, she actively mentors and supports her team to become the best early years practitioners they can be.


Outside of work, Becky enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter, often enjoying family outings and days together.

Amy

Amy

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Amy has worked in a variety of childcare settings since 2003, beginning her career as a nursery assistant while studying for her NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and the Early Years. Over time, she has steadily progressed in her career, eventually stepping into the role of Deputy Manager.


To support her in this role, Amy has completed a range of additional training, including Designated Safeguarding Lead and Level 2 Awareness of Mental Health in both children and adults.


She has previously worked for Bright Horizons and had a wonderful experience, so she is absolutely delighted to be returning to the Warrington nursery. Amy is passionate about giving every child the best possible start in life by providing exciting and engaging learning opportunities.


She is really looking forward to working alongside Emma and the fantastic team at Warrington, as well as getting to know all the wonderful families.


Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves taking her two dogs for walks around the local area and exploring new places.
