Bright Horizons Warrington Day Nursery and Preschool provides exceptional childcare for children from 3 months to 5 years in a beautiful setting at the David Lloyd Club in Great Sankey, near Warrington.

Situated entirely on the ground floor, their nursery offers easy accessibility for everyone. Children over 1 year old have the opportunity to explore and play in their secure and inviting garden daily. As part of the David Lloyd Centre, they have exclusive access to their dance studio and tennis courts for a variety of extracurricular activities.

Their preschool room is equipped with modern technology, such as an interactive whiteboard and a touchscreen computer, enhancing the learning experience. To ease the transition, they offer up to 8 weeks of settling-in sessions before your child officially starts, helping to establish a strong connection between your child, their key person, and you.

When your daughter cries her eyes out when she passes the door of the nursery and can't go in - as it's not a nursery day you know you've picked the right place.
My daughter loves her nursery days and is thriving, the staff in both the rooms she has been in so far (Baby and ToddlerH) can't do enough
to help.
I'd recommend to anyone - and do :)

My child started in this nursery when she was 13 months old. Since day one, her key worker dedicated a lot of time to make her to feel safe as she struggled to be separated from us. We really appreciate all the love and time the key worker dedicated to our daughter.
Our daughter also had an amazing
experience in toddler's room and nursery room (all the staff was incredible but a special mention to one member of staff, in particular, who was really supportive and is so lovely, another member of staff who has so much love to give, she is so patient and kind and to a member of staff from nursery room who is also so kind and gave us great rapport every time at the end of the day, she is a super star! Excellent key-workers!!

My son's experience at this nursery has been amazing. He was fascinated with all the areas and specially outside in the garden. He has been welcomed by the team everyday with a smile and was so happy to stay. I believe in this nursery the children are given great opportunities to learn and enjoy themselves

Fantastic nursery. My son loves it, the staff are so lovely with him and they have some brilliant activities to do with the kids. The space is really nice and allows for him to explore inside and outside in a safe environment. Also worth noting that he eats like a king whilst he's there!

From the first time me and my husband went to look around the nursery we had a great feeling about it.
The staff are absolutely amazing - we have never had 1 issue or 1 concerns about our son or how he is being cared for.
Our son has some sensory needs and delayed communication and the staff are
absolutely great with him ensuring his needs and wishes are met. Extra care plans are put in place and they use visuals to support him to make decisions - nothing ever seems to be too much for them.
Parents regularly get invited in for special play dates and celebrations which is lovely, as you get to see the kids play with their friends and be apart of there day.
Every drop off & pick up we see the staff smiling and generally love their jobs. The staff have gone above and beyond for our son and our family and we can't thank them enough for their help and support.
They all deserve the recognition of how amazing they are and how they make positive impacts to children and their families.

A lovely nursery and pre school setting. Everyone is polite, warm and welcoming. After looking around numerous nurseries I just had a feeling this was the right one. Once my daughter was settled in she thrived here and you could see her confidence grow, all the way from baby room to pre school. She
was ready for the next step and bright horizons definitely played a big part in this. We loved the nursery and what it offered and the family/friendly environment, we knew exactly where our son would be going when he was ready for nursery. It was nice to be welcomed back and felt like we hadn't left. I would recommend this nursery to my friends and family.

All members of staff are so kind, compassionate and nurturing. The care that my daughter receives is above and beyond. It's very hard leaving your child but knowing that they are going into a place where they will learn, and be looked after puts your mind at ease

My daughter continues to thrive in the setting, the team are a wealth of knowledge and experience led by a very strong manager who is passionate and dedicated, it is very clear that the practitioners as well as the manager know and understand each individual child, their needs and interests, since starting
at the setting my daughter has become so confident in personality as well as her growing development. The opportunities provided are fabulous and provision is adapted according to interest while continuously impacting on growing development learning through play. As a grandparent of a child who attends here, I have to thank every member of staff who continually cares for my granddaughter on a daily basis. She is looked after by amazing staff who she adores and looks forward to seeing every morning as she arrives for which I’m very grateful knowing I am leaving

My daughter started the nursery when she was 16 months old. Like any parent we struggled deciding to send her to the nursery. Since day 1 the staff have been super helpful, work at child’s pace and bring the best out of them. My daughter has now moved into 2-3 parts of the nursery which is a big change
for her. The staff in the new room are very encouraging and assuring. They are doing everything they can to settle her in the new room. The nursery manager is brilliant and is very approachable. The staff are always very welcoming and easy to talk to. My child talks about the staff at home and she talks about them as family. Her food habits have massively improved and she seems to be enjoying her meals at the nursery. The app is very helpful to see her day activity. Everyone we have come across at the nursery has a positive and nurturing attitude. I cannot recommend the place enough. We had a family situation and the staff did everything they could to accommodate us.

Our little boy has been with Bright Horizons Warrington for over a year now after starting in the nursery room at 2 years old. As he has recently moved over to Preschool, we have had the experience of both of these rooms and we have been extremely happy with both and the transition over into preschool.
All the staff at Bright Horizons are lovely and have been amazing since our little boy started. You can tell all the staff care about the children and they put a lot of effort into the activities and are very creative with the learning they do with the children. The communication is brilliant, you are told what the room will be focusing on each week and are kept updated on the app throughout the day with pretty much everything from meals to toilet visits and more. Our little boy loves his nursery days and has a lovely bond with his key worker. Thank you to all the staff who work extremely hard to make it such an amazing nursery!

Becky has worked in Early Years for over 20 years and holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, along with further qualifications including a Level 5 in Leadership and Management and a BA in Early Years. Over the years, she has gained valuable experience across various roles within nursery settings.


With more than 12 years of management experience, Becky is a compassionate and supportive leader committed to delivering high-quality care and education. She is passionate about children’s learning and development, creating purposeful experiences that help each child reach their full potential. Drawing on her advanced qualifications, she actively mentors and supports her team to become the best early years practitioners they can be.


Outside of work, Becky enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter, often enjoying family outings and days together.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Amy has worked in a variety of childcare settings since 2003, beginning her career as a nursery assistant while studying for her NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and the Early Years. Over time, she has steadily progressed in her career, eventually stepping into the role of Deputy Manager.


To support her in this role, Amy has completed a range of additional training, including Designated Safeguarding Lead and Level 2 Awareness of Mental Health in both children and adults.


She has previously worked for Bright Horizons and had a wonderful experience, so she is absolutely delighted to be returning to the Warrington nursery. Amy is passionate about giving every child the best possible start in life by providing exciting and engaging learning opportunities.


She is really looking forward to working alongside Emma and the fantastic team at Warrington, as well as getting to know all the wonderful families.
