Bright Horizons Warrington Day Nursery and Preschool provides exceptional childcare for children from 3 months to 5 years in a beautiful setting at the David Lloyd Club in Great Sankey, near Warrington.

They are conveniently located within the catchment areas of primary schools like Old Hall, St. Phillips, Barrow Hall, and Penketh South schools.

Situated entirely on the ground floor, their nursery offers easy accessibility for everyone. Children over 1 year old have the opportunity to explore and play in their secure and inviting garden daily. As part of the David Lloyd Centre, they have exclusive access to their dance studio and tennis courts for a variety of extracurricular activities.

Their preschool room is equipped with modern technology, such as an interactive whiteboard and a touchscreen computer, enhancing the learning experience. To ease the transition, they offer up to 8 weeks of settling-in sessions before your child officially starts, helping to establish a strong connection between your child, their key person, and you.

My twins joined the nursery for one day per week. They enjoy attending so much we are increasing to full time. On nursery days they both sing "We're going to nursery" and that fills us with confidence. The staff are friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable and relate well to our twins which is a great

We are delighted we made the choice to send our son to this nursery. Leaving your child is never easy but the things our son comes home able to do/say leave us in no doubt how engaging and fantastic the staff are. He is constantly stimulated with a wide range of physical, musical and written activities
and has really become an independent, confident little man since being here. Thank you!

I couldn't be any happier with my daughter's nursery. She's always so happy to go in even though she only does one day. The baby room was amazing I couldn't have asked for more, she settled in fab! I also couldn't be happier with how an amazing toddler I have. All the girls made me feel reassured and

We are delighted with our daughters progress. We can't thank the staff enough for their excellent care and attention. Our daughter adores the nursery nurses and talks about them all the time. My children love nursery the staff are really friendly and go out of their way to make the children settle quickly. The staff are very caring of both the children and parents. Dropping my son of on a morning he is often emotional. He settles quickly and the staff are fantastic at taking care and distracting him. They also make sure I'm ok before I go which is lovely. The children really enjoy nursery when they are
there and they learn so much. My son has been recognising days of the week and my daughter is singing songs with actions. My daughter has become independent with feeding and at meal times now insists on doing it herself, all thanks to the nursery. I really feel that it's an important part of their week and they get wealth of stimulation and learning that I could not provide at home. I'm grateful for their care and the staff are amazing.

Becky

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Becky has worked in Early Years for over 20 years and holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, along with further qualifications including a Level 5 in Leadership and Management and a BA in Early Years. Over the years, she has gained valuable experience across various roles within nursery settings.


With more than 12 years of management experience, Becky is a compassionate and supportive leader committed to delivering high-quality care and education. She is passionate about children’s learning and development, creating purposeful experiences that help each child reach their full potential. Drawing on her advanced qualifications, she actively mentors and supports her team to become the best early years practitioners they can be.


Outside of work, Becky enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter, often enjoying family outings and days together.

Amy

Amy

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Amy has worked in a variety of childcare settings since 2003, beginning her career as a nursery assistant while studying for her NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and the Early Years. Over time, she has steadily progressed in her career, eventually stepping into the role of Deputy Manager.


To support her in this role, Amy has completed a range of additional training, including Designated Safeguarding Lead and Level 2 Awareness of Mental Health in both children and adults.


She has previously worked for Bright Horizons and had a wonderful experience, so she is absolutely delighted to be returning to the Warrington nursery. Amy is passionate about giving every child the best possible start in life by providing exciting and engaging learning opportunities.


She is really looking forward to working alongside Emma and the fantastic team at Warrington, as well as getting to know all the wonderful families.


Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves taking her two dogs for walks around the local area and exploring new places.
