Bright Horizons Warrington Day Nursery and Preschool provides exceptional childcare for children from 3 months to 5 years in a beautiful setting at the David Lloyd Club in Great Sankey, near Warrington.

They are conveniently located within the catchment areas of primary schools like Old Hall, St. Phillips, Barrow Hall, and Penketh South schools.

Situated entirely on the ground floor, their nursery offers easy accessibility for everyone. Children over 1 year old have the opportunity to explore and play in their secure and inviting garden daily. As part of the David Lloyd Centre, they have exclusive access to their dance studio and tennis courts for a variety of extracurricular activities.

Their preschool room is equipped with modern technology, such as an interactive whiteboard and a touchscreen computer, enhancing the learning experience. To ease the transition, they offer up to 8 weeks of settling-in sessions before your child officially starts, helping to establish a strong connection between your child, their key person, and you.

And while your child is engaged in fun and exploration, they keep you informed through their Family app. Accessible to all Bright Horizons parents, this app keeps you connected to your child's daily activities and progress throughout their time with the nursery.

Extremely happy - my son has come on leaps and bounds in his development. He loves going to nursery every day.
Special mention to a member of staff, in particular, who is absolutely amazing. My son adores her and she always welcomes him with open arms!

Really lovely nursery, which both my children have attended. The oldest is now in school and attended from baby room through to preschool. The youngest still attends in the nursery room. Brilliant welcoming staff, who always smile and are happy to see us when we arrive in the morning. Fantastic approachable
management team who have been particularly helpful this year with my youngest and an increase in hours that I needed. The nursery always looks clean and inviting. Food is fantastic and my youngest always eats every meal. Both children have always come home telling me something that they have done that day, and the staff are fab at keeping us informed about their day. My eldest still talks fondly of the nursery!

My little one has been going to the nursery for around 2 months and I am very pleased with the level of care and attention he is given as I can see so much growth in his confidence. It was a hard decision but seeing him thrive has made it the best decision.

The care my daughter receives from this nursery is fantastic. Her confidence and her personality grow every week. I love the app that tells me what she does throughout the day. I needed help with potty training and the staff have been great with this, giving me tips and my daughter has now mastered
it in no time at all. I am also amazed at the Spanish songs and words that she has been learning. My daughter loves coming to nursery and she gets a lot out of her time there. Thank you.

My daughter loves going to nursery every day and has very good relationships with her friends and her teachers. Her independence has grown and her confidence, and this is down to the staff. The staff are very caring, friendly and supportive and will help with any concerns or problems.
The app is really
great for messages and helps me to feel reassured that my daughter is having a wonderful day at nursery. The meals that are provided are healthy and my daughter will tell me how much she enjoys her meals at nursery.
The manager at the nursery is really helpful and will follow up on any queries straight away. I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

My son has attended Bright Horizons Warrington Day Nursery and Preschool since he was 8 months old. He has been in every class and is now in his final preschool class. We will be so sad when he starts school. All of the key people my son has been with are absolutely amazing. I would like to make a special
mention to his current key person, I can honestly say she was one of the deciding factors on choosing this nursery. She is a gem - so warm and has built a very special bond with my son. The nursery itself is clean, well equipped, the app is very handy and easy to use when sending messages. The level of education they teach is of a high standard, my son came home singing a Spanish song last week! He says the food is yummy too. A really lovely nursery that will hold a place in our hearts forever.

Our son started nursery quite recently when he’d just turned 1 year old. Like all new parents, we had reservations and anxieties but we needn’t have worried. That staff have been so welcoming and friendly. He is greeted each day with such joy and it is a pleasure to see the smile on his little face.
He has come on leaps and bounds since starting here and we couldn’t be prouder of him.
We love the app and can’t wait to see updates and pictures of what he’s been up to each day and the little friendships he’s forming.
It’s great that we can add observations too so any new skills he learns at home can be picked up by staff at nursery too.
It’s a pleasure to send our son to this nursery and look forward to seeing him develop in the future.

My little one has been attending this setting since October 2021 and she has loved every minute.
From the moment I walked into the nursery, I felt comfortable and I knew nowhere else would compare. The staff are all friendly, the food they provide is healthy and my little one loves it.
My little one
has gone from strength to strength and always comes home having learned something new and absolutely adores all of the staff. They make her day fun, and she always has a smile on her face at pick-up, telling me about how good her day has been. Thank you, for being great and making a first-time mum happy and comfortable leaving her baby in your care, without feeling guilty or upset.
You have my recommendation every time. I will be so sad when the time for school approaches next year.

My child is in the nursery room and all of the staff are amazing! The room manager is so passionate about her room and is always looking for ways to improve and change things to keep the children engaged. The rest of the staff are also really good, my child loves them. They are always happy, the kids
love them. Every time I go into the room, I’m greeted by the staff and they tell me all about what my child has been like that day and what they have done. This is coming from a mum who before Bright Horizons didn’t like nurseries and was very nervous about leaving their child but I’m amazed at how far they have come and how much they love it. Not forgetting the office staff are absolutely lovely and always around to answer questions or answer the phone when you’re checking on the kids. Lastly the chef, somehow gets my child to eat all kinds of healthy food and even though they can’t have dairy she makes them fully included in every meal and snack.

My daughter (nearly 1) has been with Bright Horizons for just over a month. She has settled in really well thanks to the nursery staff who have been only too happy to do whatever it takes to make sure she's settled and comfortable there.
She has a lovely time in the baby room and it's so reassuring
to get updates via the app throughout the day. The staff also come across like they really care about the children which is lovely to see.
I'd be happy to recommend the nursery to anyone looking for quality childcare.

Such a helpful and lovely team, always organising activities for the little ones and I notice my toddler is learning so much from them.

All the staff is very friendly and detail-orientated. They also look after the development of each kid individually, for example providing support and encouragement for my daughter to walk. The adaption period is very useful in assigning key workers to each kid which makes everything smoother. We are

My 3-year-old son has recently joined the nursery from another setting, his transition was fantastic and we felt so welcome by all members of staff and management.
Now 2 months later it’s like he has been at the nursery forever. Communication and updates are excellent and my child enjoys all activities

We have had our twins at Bright Horizons Warrington Nursery for nearly two years. Overall it is an excellent setting. The staff is very friendly and extremely caring towards the children. Everyone is willing to help and we always get a detailed update at the end of the day while the app is brilliant!
There have been a few changes in staff over these years but the transition has always been very smooth. Overall we couldn’t have made a better choice and our little ones love being at the nursery!

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Becky has worked in Early Years for over 20 years and holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, along with further qualifications including a Level 5 in Leadership and Management and a BA in Early Years. Over the years, she has gained valuable experience across various roles within nursery settings.


With more than 12 years of management experience, Becky is a compassionate and supportive leader committed to delivering high-quality care and education. She is passionate about children’s learning and development, creating purposeful experiences that help each child reach their full potential. Drawing on her advanced qualifications, she actively mentors and supports her team to become the best early years practitioners they can be.


Outside of work, Becky enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter, often enjoying family outings and days together.

Amy

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Amy has worked in a variety of childcare settings since 2003, beginning her career as a nursery assistant while studying for her NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and the Early Years. Over time, she has steadily progressed in her career, eventually stepping into the role of Deputy Manager.


To support her in this role, Amy has completed a range of additional training, including Designated Safeguarding Lead and Level 2 Awareness of Mental Health in both children and adults.


She has previously worked for Bright Horizons and had a wonderful experience, so she is absolutely delighted to be returning to the Warrington nursery. Amy is passionate about giving every child the best possible start in life by providing exciting and engaging learning opportunities.


She is really looking forward to working alongside Emma and the fantastic team at Warrington, as well as getting to know all the wonderful families.


Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves taking her two dogs for walks around the local area and exploring new places.
