Me and my son have loved his time here for many reasons. He's coming on brilliantly and staff tell me how great his day has been. Despite a few tiny understandable mistakes, I made the right decision spending him here.

Couldn't thank the staff enough for all they do, daily.

Amazing staff are always cheerful and friendly in the morning drop off, making you feel at ease leaving your child with them. My child always has good things to say about the nursery, he enjoys playing with his friends and engaging in activities (he especially loves the indoor soft play facility). His speech and language has come along nicely since starting this September, I did have concerns initially with his speech development, but the setting has brought him out of his shell and allowed him to learn from some of the older children. Cannot praise the staff enough for their hard work and dedication. The management have also been very accommodating for me, being a single parent and a full-time student has been a challenge in itself but the management team has always been on hand to be supportive and kind towards me, which really goes a long way.

The outdoor space at the back is what we fell in love with when we booked his place here, he loves being outdoors. The nursery also has a soft play room, which my son loves!

My daughter started at Park Wood Day Nursery in November 2024, and as a first-time mum, I was really anxious about leaving her. The amazing girls in the baby room - Caoimhe, Megan, and Tori instantly put me at ease and were always so reassuring, even letting me call the nursery to check in.

I can't thank all the staff enough for their kindness, support, and the genuine care they show every day. It means so much to know my daughter is so happy and well looked after.

What's meant the most to us is how approachable everyone is. There's a real sense of openness and honesty in the way they communicate, which has made us feel heard and reassured every step of the way. We're so grateful to be part of the Park Wood community.

We never hesitate to recommend the nursery to others.

My only issue is that the portal isn't always updated with everything that has happened that day, however, I would much rather the girls be taking care of the children than sat on an tablet!

My child started at Parkwood in September 2024 into hedgehogs. She settled straight away and this was down to the girls building up a bond with her on her settles and reassuring me as a parent. Couldn't speak highly enough of the setting and would recommend it to any prospective parent.

The little touches such as taking 5 minutes to do her hair in the morning and giving her an extra cuddle to help her feel settled at drop off made such a difference. I really can't rate this nursery enough, we are very sad to be leaving for school in September.

Our little girl joined Park Wood in March when she was 13 months old. She joined just as I was returning to work. The team at Park Wood really went above and beyond to help both myself and my little girl feel at ease. The girls in the baby room really couldn't have done enough for our little one and they helped her to settle really quickly. We have seen our little girl come on so fast since she joined Park Wood and she goes in with a huge smile on her face. Our daughter has since moved to the next room and she has amazing relationships with the girls which is so lovely to see. We love that our little girl gets to spend so much time outside too which was one of the reasons we chose Park Wood. There is always so much variety in regard to activities and our little one loves enjoying messy play. Our little girl also has a flexi place which makes managing shift work so much easier and once less stressful to worry about. Thank you so much Park Wood!

I highly recommend Park Wood Day Nursery, it is an excellent nursery with lovely staff & management. They have a lovely outdoor play area as well as a wooded area for the little ones to explore. My daughter has attended preschool for 2 years from the age of 3, she has Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and when she started she was non-verbal, the staff have helped her incredibly, and she has come on leaps and bounds now being able to put words into sentences. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done for her and I'm sad to see her leave but because of the staff, she is now ready to go onto her next journey to school.

Would recommend this nursery to anyone - made the transition from maternity leave to going back to work so much easier than ever anticipated.

A lovely nursery with wonderful staff. My daughter started in January and has come along so well, she is always so excited to go to nursery! Such a lovely environment for children especially with the outdoor setting. Would recommend this nursery to everyone.

Staff are fantastic. Baby loves attending nursery and has a really strong bond with everyone, especially his key worker! Since starting nursery he has really grown into his own little person, becoming independent and strong-minded which is wonderful to see. Highly recommended!

Fees on an all inclusive basis is excellent value for money. My daughter loves the meals on offer and never comes home hungry.

Lovely nursery, staff are all really friendly, caring, and go above and beyond tailoring to the childs needs. They engage closely with the children, who have the same carers each week. Nice big rooms, lots of activities, and a great outdoor space under the trees. Happy to use our reusable nappies, and to use baby sign with our toddler.
