Had both children in Heirs and Graces Day Nursery since 2010. Amazing place and amazing staff. Never had any issues and both kids love it. So much so, my now six year old wants to go back in the holidays. Highly recommend!

When leaving my son at this nursery I feel totally relaxed. They are by far the best in the area (having compared notes with other parents). Whilst still maintaining a professional position, they strike a balance with feeling as though we are leaving our most prized possessions with family. I love that
they are very affectionate with my son but again they strike a balance with the encouraging his independence where appropriate but being there with open arms for cuddles. In terms of learning, they're amazing, the things my son has picked up and learnt is truly amazing. Such broad subject matters, he comes home chattering about Chinese New Year, the Antarctic, tells me that he held an African snail, HE IS TWO! Unbelievable. Also myself and my husband are Welsh and my son's class did a week learning about Wales around at David's Day, how lovely is that? Can highly recommend. Totally get why they often have waiting lists.

My son has been attending nursery since he was eight months old. Their help with his transition to the nursery from home and then his transition throughout the various rooms as he has grown has been excellent. The nursery is friendly, approachable and a happy place to be.

They take excellent care

of my son's basic needs, as well as his medical needs daily. They give him medication as well as plenty of cuddles when needed.

As well as promoting age-appropriate learning, they promote relationships between both adults and children so they are able to socialise to the best of their ability. My son has learnt a lot already, whilst having lots of fun with friends too and always has a story or two to tell on the way home. We have seen him grow in confidence and ability and feel that Heirs and Graces Day Nursery is helping to give him the best start possible. It is pretty much home from home for him which is exactly what we were looking for when you have to leave your child to go to work.

Our son has been at Heirs and Graces Day Nursery now for a year and we couldn't be happier with the service and how he is progressing. The staff are fabulous and keep the children entertained with all sorts of different educational and fun activities. The online journal is great and the photo's the
staff upload allow us to see what our son's been doing and that he's happy. I would have no reservation whatsoever in recommending this nursery.

We have had all of our children cared for at Heirs and Graces Day Nursery and we couldn't have asked for a more welcoming, caring and brilliant set of staff to have taken care of them. Each room has knowledgeable and caring staff led in such a way to bring the best out of the children and we have noticed
marked improvements in our children's development through being at the nursery. Cannot recommend highly enough!

My daughter has attended Heirs and Graces nursery for two and a half years and she has loved every room she has been in. Both myself and my husband are extremely happy with the nursery and the way that they care for our daughter. The staff are amazing and always make us feel very comfortable leaving
our daughter in their care. We are also extremely delighted with the activities that our daughter takes part in on a daily basis to encourage her social and educational development and find the learning journal very useful in keeping us up to date with what she has been doing and areas she has been developing every day.
We feel very lucky to have chosen this nursery and would highly recommend them to anyone. They all do such an amazing job!!

We looked at a number of nurseries in St Helens before looking at Heirs and Graces as every mother wants the best for her baby I was very fussy and I wanted to feel a homely feel which I didn't get with others .The second I walked into Heirs and Graces I felt like the staff were very genuine and their
kind nature wasn't forced, they are like one big family. I had a lovely comment from my daughter's key worker this week just letting me know that she's really enjoying seeing my little girl's personality shine and it brought a tear to my eye as I know how well looked after she is when left in the care of Heirs and Graces. They put so much hard work into different activities for the children and they do a fantastic job I'm so happy we picked this nursery its one in a million. I highly recommend.

Our Daughter started here in October 2013 age 3. She is not far off 5 and ready to leave and start school. I believe our daughter has had the very best start in life through attending Heirs and Graces. She has developed into a very confident girl always wanting to learn, taking everything in, asking
questions and using what she has learnt, always excited to tell us about her day. She has made good friendships with other children and all the staff. The Nursery staff have been fantastic, always listening asking questions and taking time to talk about our child.

The nursery has great learning facilities such as IT equipment (IPADS), outdoor equipment and always update them to aid childrens development.
Meals are varied and all cooked fresh. Our daughter has tried many different meals and always enjoyed them.

Overall a fantastic nursery, very family orientated and excellent value for money. One which we would recommend to anyone. *****

Current Review Score: 8.4 (8.377)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.4 (8.377) out of 10 for Heirs and Graces Day Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 3 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.4 out of 5 from 3 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 5.000 for Heirs and Graces Day Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (36 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 36 Ratings = 5
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.377 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Heirs and Graces Day Nursery is based on 3 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.25
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 118 number of registered child places is 23.6. 3 Positive Reviews ÷ 23.6 = 0.127
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
