Partou Up & Away Day Nursery & Pre-school provides exceptional childcare and education for babies and children up to the age of five. The setting is one of the most well-established nurseries in Speke, having been open for over ten years.

The nursery provides children with a fun, supportive environment where they can play in the great outdoors every day. Children at the setting enjoy a range of inspirational learning activities in 11 vibrant playrooms, including a soft play gymnasium and sensory room.

Up & Away's experienced team hold childcare qualifications, paediatric first aid certificates and safeguarding training. Every team member has undergone an enhanced DBS check and the nursery has CCTV and secure door entry systems for added security.

The cook at Up & Away prepares fresh and nutritionally balanced meals and snacks in the nursery kitchen, providing children with healthy and delicious homemade food every day. The nursery's menu is prepared using quality, fresh ingredients and can be altered to suit any special dietary requirements.

Meals and snacks are included in the nursery's fees, as well as nappies, milk, wipes and sun cream. 15 and 30-hour childcare places are available for eligible families.

Since my child has started in the nursery, I have seen her progress in a very beneficial way, we still experience some upset when I initially leave her, but once I’ve gone she is absolutely fine and loves nursery and being with her friends and the staff. My daughter has grown special bonds with a few
members of staff that I know go over and above to ensure her happiness and comfort. The activities she participates in during her nursery days are interesting and really engaging for my girl. I can’t thank them enough for the reassurance they offer to both myself and my child

Our daughter has been attending the nursery for 16 months now. We're very happy with her progress and she is coming on in leaps and bounds. The staff at the nursery are so invested in her care and development, they're always welcoming, friendly and approachable.
The nursery itself is clean, accomodating
and has plenty of toys, books, activities etc for the children.
They have proven to be very flexible around our work requirements and shift pattern, which other places wouldn't have been able to facilitate.
We're very happy and we would definitely reccomend it to other families looking for a nursery.

My son has been here since December due to his previous nursery closing with no notice. I highly recommend this nursery he has come on leaps and bounds and he loves going into the girls. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. The nursery is very well equipped with loads of space.
Love this nursery,
will be gutted when my son eventually has to leave.

Honestly can’t fault up and away in any way! They are amazing with my son he absolutely loves going to nursery. He has came out of his shell so much since being here and I can see how much he is learning week by week. He definitely has a soft spot for the staff as he’s always giving them the biggest
cuddles too. Best environment for my son and I can’t wait for my daughter to start once she’s a little bit bigger, I would recommended to anyone.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since September 2022 and she loves it so much. We got a good feeling when we viewed the nursery due to the facilities and warm welcome from the staff and it hasn't disappointed. My only niggle is that I wish they used a better app for me to view photos of

Genuinely cannot praise this nursery enough, my little boy has been going since January and absolutely loves it. He has come on so much and actually tries new foods in nursery! All of the staff in blue skies are amazing with him especially one who I genuinely feel treats him and the other babies as

I love picking up my granddaughter from nursery and finding out about all the amazing things she has done. Sometimes she doesn't want to come home because she is having so much fun. My daughter has attended for over a year following the recommendation of a friend. Since enrolling my daughter, two of my relatives have now enrolled their children here. Our daughter absolutely loves coming into nursery, she only does 3 days a week but she thoroughly enjoys every one of them. She has made so many friends and her confidence had grown massively. As a first time parent I was extremely nervous about putting my child into any nursery. Up & Away Day Nursery Speke made us feel at home ever since our first visit. Our little man has built special relationships with all the staff and this has made us feel at ease when handing him over. The nursery
also has an app which is regularly updated with pictures of all the children so we get to see what he has been up to when he's in nursery. The food always sounds delicious and has a very wide range of food which is great for him too. When I come to collect my boy I get to know exactly what the days have been like and the majority of the time it is great! I feel like my son is thriving in the nursery and has shown great excellence in the past year he has been there, both me and his mother can only thank the nursery for their hard work.

Simply put, my daughter just loves going to Up and Away Day Nursery and Pre-School. As a parent, I want my child to be safe and happy. I therefore can’t ask for more than seeing a smiling face when I drop her off and pick-up of an evening. The staff are very caring and take the time to get to know the
families, as much as the children. The flexibility that the extended opening hours offer to working parents, together with the comprehensive fee, which includes meals, nappies and sunscreen were added benefits; not to mention ease of location. But, above all, at Up and Away you feel part of a community. I’ve seen my daughter come on leaps and bounds since attending the nursery in terms of her confidence, speech and other motor skills which, being the product of a ‘lockdown baby’, coupled with the fact she is an only child, was of great importance to us to see that positive development.

My son is very shy and he has never been exposed to many children around him. He was nervous at the beginning however, he settled well after a short period of time. All the carers in the nursery are great and with patience, my son now likes to go to nursery so much and he even has some of his favourite
