Partou Up & Away Day Nursery & Pre-school provides exceptional childcare and education for babies and children up to the age of five. The setting is one of the most well-established nurseries in Speke, having been open for over ten years.

The nursery provides children with a fun, supportive environment where they can play in the great outdoors every day. Children at the setting enjoy a range of inspirational learning activities in 11 vibrant playrooms, including a soft play gymnasium and sensory room.

Up & Away's experienced team hold childcare qualifications, paediatric first aid certificates and safeguarding training. Every team member has undergone an enhanced DBS check and the nursery has CCTV and secure door entry systems for added security.

The cook at Up & Away prepares fresh and nutritionally balanced meals and snacks in the nursery kitchen, providing children with healthy and delicious homemade food every day. The nursery's menu is prepared using quality, fresh ingredients and can be altered to suit any special dietary requirements.

Meals and snacks are included in the nursery's fees, as well as nappies, milk, wipes and sun cream. 15 and 30-hour childcare places are available for eligible families.

Really lovely nursery! The girls were really patient with my daughter who took a little while to settle in but now she is thriving. She is great friends with another girl and her face lights up whenever she sees her. I feel very confident leaving her with the girls at Up and Away. They do lots of activities
during the day and she always eats well when she's there. I would like it if the app was updated more regularly as I love seeing what she gets up to during the day!

My son has just completed a full term here from September 2021 - July 2022. Up and Away Day Nursery have been absolutely fantastic and cater to my son's and every other child’s needs. My little boy has come on leaps and bounds, especially being a Covid baby he struggles with socialising with others.
The nursery staff have put in so much effort and dedication to helping not only my little boy, but all the other children. My little boy was assigned a key worker and if they think he has a better bond with another member of staff, they swap that key worker which I think is fantastic! They also have an app that uploads pictures of your child’s day. Also, another amazing point is this nursery offers term time only which is fantastic as I work in a school myself. This means I can spend the holidays with my son and not have to worry about childcare. I could not fault this nursery! I’m so glad I found them and that my son is happy. Thanks to the manager and all the staff. We will see you in September.

Since my daughter was 2 years old, we were searching for the perfect nursery and we definitely found it at Up and Away. The staff are amazing and they are so great with the kids, nothing is too much trouble for them. Thank you for taking care of our little girl. She has left now for primary school and
she will miss everyone at Up and Away.

I can’t recommend this nursery enough. My little boy loves it and the girls are great. The parents' app is fab too, so you can see what your little one has been up to. I think it’s great that you get a rundown of everything your child has done that day too.

Our little boy has only just started in this nursery but after a little visit I knew it was going to be a good one. They let him have as many settling in sessions as it took, often varying the pattern to get him used to being there. The staff are all lovely and personable, the nursery is clean and bright
and has a great garden for outdoor play. They sign you up to a little learning book (if you want), where you can see pictures of your baby's development etc which is cute for keeping track of their progress. Seem to take their learning as important as they set you up to follow a little syllabus so baby can hit milestones and develop. So far so good!

Great nursery with a very friendly and dedicated team. Absolutely fantastic communication with Management. I was always updated on how the day went and what my daughter was doing. There is also a digital record with pictures taken on some activities. Menu provides various food on daily basis. The nice
addition are Spanish lessons so kids can start learning a foreign language from a young age. Highly recommended!

I would like to be fair and honest with my feedback.
Therefore I gave only 2 stars for the staff and safeguarding.
In my opinion from what we experienced and witnessed, I feel most staff lacks attention, empathy, and knowledge of emotional well-being. Often I've seen staff being bored, sitting on
the floor next to crying children, not comforting them.
We also had quite a few incidents which could have been prevented by staff if only they were paying attention to the children.
There were some great staff, i.e. one staff member who left the nursery, but she was fab with kids.

My little one was born during the pandemic and the nursery was amazing at doing settling in days for him. Making sure he was comfortable eating and napping there before his 1st day. The staff in the baby room are amazing with my boy. He absolutely loves them. They are so good at communicating with me
and my partner about what my boy did, ate etc on that day. They have made me and my partner extremely comfortable with my boy's safety and security, especially during these times.

My 12-month-old son is very happy in this nursery and he always comes out happy and smiling. Learning lots of new things every day and having lots of fun. Lovely staff working hard every day. Definitely will recommend this nursery to my friends.

From our very first visit, the nursery manager and her team have gone above and beyond. A very welcoming and friendly, newly refurbished nursery with lots of space and things for a child to do/play with, the big garden and toddler room has been a personal highlight. The manager has been very accommodating
to our requests eg. to add/move around days and to our dietary requirements - our child feels very comfortable and happy with her and the team, who are always available to talk via phone or email and very informative at the end of each session.

I could go on all day if I was asked how this nursery is because the nursery is absolutely amazing. All the children always look so happy and are having fun. My daughter has attended this nursery since December last year and really enjoys coming to see the staff every day. My little girl has been attending Up & Away since she was 12 months old and I can’t recommend this Nursery highly enough! The nursery building itself is so well maintained and the rooms for the children are lovely. Children have access to a gym, sensory room, library and a large outside garden area,
in addition to their ‘classrooms’. The food offered to the children is nutritious and I love that I can see what is on offer each day from the online menus. My little girl has a varied palate and has tried many new foods which she now loves. The staff are all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. I know that they have my little girl’s best interests at heart and she is full of smiles each time I drop her off. All in all, an amazing nursery!

Our daughter absolutely loves the nursery and we can see from her development how good the nursery has been for her. We have had one or two issues that we have had to raise but overall I am really happy with the nursery and the care they provide. They offer really good value for money and the development

A really good nursery, I had no worries leaving my daughter here, she loved it. Every time we pulled in to the car park she would get excited and I was so sad to take her out when circumstances changed.
The only thing was that even though they are closed on Bank Holidays, we still had to pay for that
day, which is the case in lots of nurseries.

My daughter has attended this nursery for 2 years and has always been so happy and very well cared for. Since the nursery became Up & Away, there have been significant changes and improvements to the nursery including larger rooms, refurbished to a high standard throughout, new toys and new toilet facilities
for little ones which has helped hugely with potty training. The staff are friendly and take really good care of the children, and arrange lots of activities and different types of play. There is also an app which parents can use to get regular updates of children’s progress which is great for parents.


Overall, a great nursery and I would highly recommend to others.
