Partou Up & Away Day Nursery & Pre-school provides exceptional childcare and education for babies and children up to the age of five. The setting is one of the most well-established nurseries in Speke, having been open for over ten years.

The nursery provides children with a fun, supportive environment where they can play in the great outdoors every day. Children at the setting enjoy a range of inspirational learning activities in 11 vibrant playrooms, including a soft play gymnasium and sensory room.

Up & Away's experienced team hold childcare qualifications, paediatric first aid certificates and safeguarding training. Every team member has undergone an enhanced DBS check and the nursery has CCTV and secure door entry systems for added security.

The cook at Up & Away prepares fresh and nutritionally balanced meals and snacks in the nursery kitchen, providing children with healthy and delicious homemade food every day. The nursery's menu is prepared using quality, fresh ingredients and can be altered to suit any special dietary requirements.

Meals and snacks are included in the nursery's fees, as well as nappies, milk, wipes and sun cream. 15 and 30-hour childcare places are available for eligible families.

My little boy has been at Partou for a couple of years now, and it has been an incredibly positive environment for him to grow and develop. The fairly recent introduction of an app means that throughout the day I can see what and how much he has eaten, nappy changes or potty visits and most importantly,
the staff add some lovely photos of their day. Development milestones are tracked through an engaging variety of activities that we love talking about on our rides home.
The classrooms and garden areas never seem cramped, and I know like most my little one eats so much more fruit and veg when he is with his friends in nursery!
I can genuinely say that each of the staff has brought compassion and a frankly outrageous level of enthusiasm to looking after my little boy. I'm aware that the nursery recently became a part of Partou and has had a change of management, but the new team have been great to work with, and super helpful with changing hours and the new government funding.

My son attends Up & Away Day Nursery and has recently moved up to his last room before he goes to primary school. He has come on so much with the help of staff and his key worker. I'm beyond thankful for the help and support they give him. With new management now standing in I feel she is an asset to
Partou a company not just the nursery she is beyond helpful with any concerns I have and will always go out of her way to ensure they're solved in a timely and professional manner. Choosing this nursery was the best decision I have made for my son.

I would highly recommend Up & Away Day Nursery. My daughter started here at 18 months and has settled in so well. She literally cries when I pick her up now because she doesn’t want to leave!
They have helped so much with her motor skills, speech and social communication.
The staff are all so friendly
and welcoming and have made my daughter feel right at home.
The app used to communicate with parents is excellent and I love to see what she is getting up to!

My little girl started in January 2024. Initially, I went to look around the nursery I was very impressed with the layout and staff. I went to view other nurseries following this and there was no comparison.
We had our settling-in sessions which were reassuring and again staff were so friendly and
supportive. My little girl loves going to nursery, she has the biggest smile on her face going in and on the handover to the staff. I am very pleased so far with our experience. The parent app is also very good to check in on what she is doing throughout the day. The nursery is reasonable in terms of price and caters for shift workers which is very hard to come across with other nurseries or childminders.

My son has been going to this nursery for 11 months now for 3 days a week. I have seen such a massive difference in his confidence around adults and other children too he really has come on in leaps and bounds. I can’t thank the staff enough they are brilliant and the patience they have is amazing.
I recommend this nursery to any parents I speak to as it’s just brilliant. My son always comes home to tell us what a fun-filled day he has always had and the yummy healthy foods he has eaten.

I viewed several nurseries before choosing Up & Away. My son has settled in so well and loves going. The nursery is quick to respond to any queries. This environment has really nurtured my son, I can see his confidence grow every day. I can't rate it enough.

Up and Away has wonderful, inspirational and patient staff. I have two children who currently attend in different age groups. They have created a warm and joyful environment in which all children learn creatively and freely. They are willing to take training for special small people and they always
listen to parents preferences. Food is always prepared safely and securely in the kitchen as well as allergies are taken into consideration. Office staff are kind and understanding of your circumstances and try their very best to support you.
Honestly, I can’t find a fault and you won’t either. My children always come to me happy and full of confidence. Even the younger staff are the most polite people I’ve ever met with a good mature head on their shoulders. Theirs not a situation they cannot handle. I’m entirely grateful for each of them.

I have had the most amazing experience with this nursery, can't praise the staff enough, especially my daughter's one-on-one, he is really good at his job but does not make you feel it's just his job he tends to not only the child's needs but mine as a parent. I don't really like to share my daughter
and was very worried about how inconsistent my drop offs and pick ups may be around my other daughter and other jobs during the day but her key keyworker and all the staff have been nothing but amazing my daughter has really taken her sessions in her stride she's amazed me how well she's getting on with routine in there and that's all down to the patience and teamwork of the staff. I could not speak any more highly after my older daughter attended another nursery I have something to compare and Up and Away is no comparison they do things I never expected from a nursery, updates on my daughter's day-to-day activities and always a little recap on pick up. Can't thank them enough truly the dream team.

Lovely nursery, very friendly staff. Lots of facilities provided and included in the fees. Baby always comes home happy. Nice and local and plenty of parking spaces outside. The key members are very attentive.

Absolutely can not thank and praise this wonderful nursery enough. The staff are all lovely and welcoming and have taken care of my son tremendously. He has come out of his shell toward other kids and people since attending the nursery and his speech and vocabulary has come on leaps and bounds as he
was a covid baby he was struggling with separation anxiety but since coming to up and away that has helped so much and my son has grew from it. All the staff and management do a fantastic job here at Up & Away Day Nursery Speke.

My daughter has attended Up and Away for the past three years and has loved her time there. She is due to start primary school in September, and I know she will miss all the friends she has made and the staff in the preschool room. The staff are friendly and approachable and take the time to get to
know the children individually. My 22-month-old son also attends the nursery and has settled in well. He has some additional needs, which the nursery has accommodated really well. I would recommend this nursery to people living in the local area or who work on the Estuary Business Park.

Our little boy started full-time at this nursery in June 2023. The team in blue skies have been incredible and he loves every minute there. The genuine care the staff have for the children is wonderful and they do such a range of activities to keep them engaged and developing. He always has the biggest
smiles for the staff.
As a parent, the communication is amazing, the app means we can see photos of what he has been up to and each day we get a summary of what he ate, how much he slept and even how many nappies he had! So pleased with our choice and I would definitely recommend this nursery.

Since my child has started in the nursery, I have seen her progress in a very beneficial way, we still experience some upset when I initially leave her, but once I’ve gone she is absolutely fine and loves nursery and being with her friends and the staff. Our daughter has been attending the nursery for 16 months now. We're very happy with her progress and she is coming on in leaps and bounds. The staff at the nursery are so invested in her care and development, they're always welcoming, friendly and approachable.
The nursery itself is clean, accomodating
and has plenty of toys, books, activities etc for the children.
They have proven to be very flexible around our work requirements and shift pattern, which other places wouldn't have been able to facilitate.
We're very happy and we would definitely reccomend it to other families looking for a nursery.

My son has been here since December due to his previous nursery closing with no notice. I highly recommend this nursery he has come on leaps and bounds and he loves going into the girls. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. The nursery is very well equipped with loads of space.
Love this nursery,
will be gutted when my son eventually has to leave.

Honestly can’t fault up and away in any way! They are amazing with my son he absolutely loves going to nursery. He has came out of his shell so much since being here and I can see how much he is learning week by week. He definitely has a soft spot for the staff as he’s always giving them the biggest
cuddles too. Best environment for my son and I can’t wait for my daughter to start once she’s a little bit bigger, I would recommended to anyone.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since September 2022 and she loves it so much. We got a good feeling when we viewed the nursery due to the facilities and warm welcome from the staff and it hasn't disappointed. My only niggle is that I wish they used a better app for me to view photos of
activities but that's only a minor thing. I would highly recommend Up & Away Day Nursery Speke, my little girl is happy so I am happy.

Genuinely cannot praise this nursery enough, my little boy has been going since January and absolutely loves it. He has come on so much and actually tries new foods in nursery! All of the staff in blue skies are amazing with him especially one who I genuinely feel treats him and the other babies as
though he was her own and I cannot thank her enough for this. I was nervous putting him in the nursery so young at first but I will forever be grateful I did now. Would recommend Up & Away Day Nursery Speke to anyone.
