Eldonians Day Nursery, Liverpool, is a purpose-built facility easy for parents to reach from the city centre and organise a convenient timetable that is beneficial to themselves and their children.

A number of external play areas are available to children, as well as a wide range of games and group activities that are shown to be effective in developing personal skills.

The team of enthusiastic early years professionals plays a key part in creating a stimulating environment for children to play, learn and discover the world around them. The team was proud to achieve an 'Outstanding' rating by Ofsted in October 2022.

We have always been made to feel welcome. My boys have learnt so much since being at Eldonians.
All of the staff are great, especially the manager. I knew I made the right choice when I met her for the viewing.
There are other members of staff who are fantastic and are an asset.


Love the new 'Breakfast

for parents'. I think this is a special touch which is thoughtful.

I am very happy with all aspects of the nursery. I think the staff are fantastic and the care of my son is brilliant he loves it there. The only thing I don't like is that you cannot swap days. My son attends 3 days a week but I was not able to swap days when I asked. I know this is something that is
offered at other nurseries and I don't understand why it cannot be considered if there is enough staff cover.

As soon as I stepped foot in this nursery in 2013 I knew it was the right one for my child. I had been around looking at a lot of nursery schools beforehand and this was by far the best.
It was very clean, the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the children seemed so happy and bright.
The
food is all freshly prepared and healthy and each of the rooms were very spacious and had a warming feeling to them.
My child still attends here and he absolutely loves it. I recently moved house and I still travel to this one every day as I didn't want to change nurseries.
He has been here since 9 months old and he is so clever, chatty and happy. He has made lots of new friends, both staff and children.
This is more than a nursery it's like a family.

We have been absolutely thrilled with this nursery, the way it is run and its staff.
The staff really try to understand the children's individual needs and work with them accordingly.


Will be sad the day my children leave!

My two children have attended Bright Horizons nursery and both loved it here. The staff are very friendly and always reassured me when leaving them. I have recommended this nursery to a lot of parents and they have agreed and put their children in this nursery also. I have used the back up care they
provide which was a massive help for half term closures.

My daughter came to this nursery as part if the backup care. She really enjoyed her day and the staff we're so friendly and welcoming. Having never attended a nursery setting before she settled in really well and took part in the wide range if activities going on throughout the day. Both the manager
and deputy we're really welcoming and I would highly recommend this nursery to all of my friends and family.

My daughter has been attending Eldonians nursery since she was 6 months old. She has grown into a confident chatty child who has a good bond with all staff in the nursery. The management and staff have been very approachable to speak to and willing to help.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2010

Hello, I have been at Eldonians since 2010. I have NVQ L3 and leadership and management L3. I am also the safeguarding officer for the nursery.


I started within the company at Kidsunlimited Broadgreen Nursery as a nursery nurse and worked my way through the ranks. I also supported lots of other nurseries in Liverpool whilst joining a task and finishing the group with Liverpool city council who would go around different nurseries to support with training, planning or enabling environments. I then came to Eldonians and took the nursery through three Ofsted inspections and received a good outcome on two occasions the most recent an outstanding which I am extremely proud of.
