Eldonians Day Nursery, Liverpool, is a purpose-built facility easy for parents to reach from the city centre and organise a convenient timetable that is beneficial to themselves and their children.

A number of external play areas are available to children, as well as a wide range of games and group activities that are shown to be effective in developing personal skills.

The team of enthusiastic early years professionals plays a key part in creating a stimulating environment for children to play, learn and discover the world around them. The team was proud to achieve an 'Outstanding' rating by Ofsted in October 2022.

My son started at Eldonians in October last year. I was nervous at first with the current situation but my worries were put at ease instantly when I spoke to the manager and staff. They called me regularly to update me on progress and how he was settling and shared photographs with me so I could see
things he had done that day. He has come on so much since starting and loves it there.

Brilliant nursery, our daughter loves going here. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. After the lockdown, I was worried about how she would be going back, but she settled so quickly. The staff are always happy to take a call when I wanted to check in on her, and always got in touch with me
if required. We are moving away shortly, and I just hope she settles in her new nursery as well.

First of all I would like to say thank you to all the staff at Bright Horizons Eldonians as they really do go the extra mile. Choosing a nursery for any parent is always a massive worry but 6 weeks after our daughter started in October 2018 we realised choosing Eldonians was the easiest decision we
made. The nursery is fantastic and always provide you with an excellent service and answer any questions you may have straight away. Our daughter loves going in to nursery and is always happy when going in and more importantly always smiling and so excited talking to me about her day in nursery as she has had so much fun. Another positive is that they have their own chef on site so you know the children are getting proper meals. Our daughter is coming on so much and it's great that they have a set criteria what they follow for the children's developments and we are so happy with the nursery that we have our second daughter starting there in a few weeks time.

This nursery is by far the best thing that has happened to me and my daughter.
I could not praise the staff and the management enough for their constant hard work and commitment to the children in the nursery.
They completely changed my daughter and made her into a very sociable and pleasant young
lady. They are simply the best!

My son went through a little phase of being upset when being dropped off. The staff in pre-school were amazing at comforting him and reassuring me. I always feel 100% happy and confident dropping him off and he loves going to pre-school and loves the staff as I do.

We (me, my husband and my son) have absolutely loved this nursery. We have had complete trust in all the staff. My son has developed really well and loves coming to nursery. He has made lots of friends and has learnt lots of skills which we are really proud of. All keyworkers have been fantastic.

Eldonians is an excellent nursery, that I have highly recommended to a number of friends. My son has been here since he was 6 months old and the staff have loved and cared for him like he was their own - he leaves this year after 4 years and thanks to their support will leave happy and confident for
school. My daughter has now been here a year and is absolutely thriving! She'll love spending the next 3 years here :)

My daughter is due to leave at the end of this month, while I am excited for her to start school, I am sad to be soon saying goodbye to nursery. My daughter has thrived here and it has been worth every penny. I am forever grateful.

Bright Horizons Eldonians Day Nursery and Preschool is a wonderful nursery. My daughter absolutely loves her time there. The staff have always been so good with her and me by always informing me of an incident or any other info. I couldn't recommend this nursery any more and I am very happy that my

Bright Horizons Eldonians is a fantastic nursery. My little girl loves going to "school" because of the wonderful staff there.
All kids go through phases of behaviour and challenges with development and the one thing I value more than anything is how normal and calm the staff are about it. Nobody makes
you feel that you should worry and everything is handled with respect, dignity and a truly caring approach.
I would recommend Bright Horizons Eldonians to anyone. As a single mum, I don't know what I would do without the reassurance that my little girl is in safe hands when I am at work.

Hello, I have been at Eldonians since 2010. I have NVQ L3 and leadership and management L3. I am also the safeguarding officer for the nursery.


I started within the company at Kidsunlimited Broadgreen Nursery as a nursery nurse and worked my way through the ranks. I also supported lots of other nurseries in Liverpool whilst joining a task and finishing the group with Liverpool city council who would go around different nurseries to support with training, planning or enabling environments. I then came to Eldonians and took the nursery through three Ofsted inspections and received a good outcome on two occasions the most recent an outstanding which I am extremely proud of.
