We couldn't be happier with our experiences of Hazelwood Nursery. The excellent team are all so friendly and attentive, our little girl settled in really quickly and is extremely happy there.

The best start to my children’s lives!

Our son attended nursery up to school age and now attends the Afterschool club. Nursery were fantastic in preparing him for the transition to school. We've been very impressed with the many varied activities the nursery offers. Our son loved his time at nursery and now enjoys attending Afterschool club. He still fondly talks about his time at nursery.

Our daughter now attends the nursery and the staff have been wonderful in settling her in. She enjoys many varied activities and enjoys trips out in the local community.

We would highly recommend the nursery, we always know that our children are extremely well looked after in their care.

My son has attended Hazelwood nursery for the past three years and I would strongly recommend this nursery to fellow parents. It is a nursery that has a lovely, warm and welcoming feel to it with caring and attentive staff. My son has very much flourished during his time here in relation to all aspects of his development and especially in areas such as increasing his self-confidence, his emerging knowledge of the world, attention given to phonics, preparation for starting school and developing strong relationships with his peers. He runs into nursery every morning excited about what he will be doing in the action-packed days planned by the staff and the activities are very much reflective of the early years foundation curriculum. In particular, my son is experiencing some difficulties in his developing speech and the staff have been attentive in their assessment of this and have facilitated a referral to appropriate agencies as well as supporting related activities to this during nursery time.

The kids eat very well at nursery and get regular fresh air and exercise. My daughter's key workers are stars, obviously know her very well and probably don't realise just how much they support me as well as my daughter! I can't thank them enough for all they have done for us. I will weep when she leaves!

Our son attended Hazelwood nursery 1-2 days a week between 2012 and 2016 (from 9 months old up to school age) and now attends the Planet Vibe club during school holidays. Both facilities are excellent and - in my opinion - the staff are the best in their field. Our son loved the nursery and is always excited to attend the club. The fact that so many children remain in the nursery right up to school age (rather than transferring to a school nursery) and continue to use its after school/holiday club speaks volumes about how great it is! Hazelwood is really something special. The management and dedicated staff team run a very smooth ship - I'm always so impressed by how well ran and organised it is with excellent safeguarding for the children in their care. I have recommended the nursery & club to many of my friends as I can't speak highly enough of it. We feel very lucky to have such a fantastic facility on our doorstep.

We have just attended their open day which was fantastic. It was so lovely to see some of the activities my daughter would be involved in and you could clearly see the staff ‘Aunties’ work so hard at their jobs and enjoy what they do. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been attending Hazelwood Nursery for three years now since she was 8 months old. I have never been anything other than delighted and impressed with the care she has received during this time.

There is a real family feel to the nursery, which is one of the main reasons we chose Hazelwood. The nursery staff are called "Aunties" making them feel like an extension of the child's family. The nursery is within the grounds of a converted house, which again helps to create a 'home from home' feel, especially important when your child is going into daycare early on.

Even though we recently moved out of the area, we didn't change to a closer, more convenient childcare provider, but made the decision to continue sending our daughter to Hazelwood as it simply exceeded all the other daycare options we had seen.

I can't reccomend them highly enough and will be incredibly sad when my daughter leaves for primary school this year

Hazelwood Nursery has been fantastic with both of my boys since the ages of 10 months. They settled in well and loved all the staff. The activities they do with the children are fantastic and the staff are very friendly and tailor everything to each child's individual needs. We have had to leave the nursery due to moving to a different location and I am distraught and struggling to find a nursery where my kids are happy and the staff are so attentive just like at Hazelwood Nursery. I would highly recommend Hazelwood Nursery as it is a lovely family run nursery and not a big chain.

They have sensory activities, story time, outdoor play, they go for a strolls in the buggies sometimes. They paint, do a messy plays, etc. Aunties are so loving and caring, they always give a cuddle to those children who are poorly. And they always tell how your child been today, how they ate and what they did. Highly recommend!
