An extremely friendly and competent team that does a fantastic job of developing my son in a fun and engaging way. He has come on so far since starting nursery and loves attending. I would absolutely recommend Hazelwood Nursery as a first-choice destination.

Both my daughters have attended the Schools Out Club for many years after school and during the holidays. They have loved their time at the club and made many friends.

Our son has been attending Hazelwood for over two years, and we couldn't be happier with our experience there. The team plan and deliver wonderful learning opportunities for the children linked to the seasons, cultural event, different topics and our son loves sharing what he has learnt and done that day. The whole staff team are fantastic and work so hard to create a warm and homely atmosphere; whilst remaining professional at all time. We couldn't recommend Hazelwood more, and will all be sad when our son moves on in September, but grateful for the fantastic start he has had there.

Hazelwood Nursery provides fantastic care. I am consistently impressed with the range of educational and fun activities they provide - trips to the shop, performing Christmas concerts in the community, trips to the park to explore, numbers, deconstruction and art. The staff are superb, so caring, friendly, they really know the children well. The staff are extremely professional and consistently put safeguarding as a priority, eg. building access and a zero mobile phone policy. I highly recommend for fantastic childcare and development.

My son loves his time at nursery. He's developed really well and has lots of friends. The team are very attentive and provide feedback. More recently lots of new faces coming and going which can confuse the kids. The management have been really helpful and provided good support with queries. Overall the nursery itself and staff are fantastic. The only let down is the cost. Meals are very expensive over a full month and these are not discounted for planned time off or longer sick time. Perhaps something to consider.

This nursery has a great atmosphere for all children as the facilities are well equipped, good condition and well maintained for its purpose. Staff have a range of experience with a positive upbeat and great friendly approach to the wellbeing of my child. I find Hazelwood look after the parent and carer too, providing daily updates of activities, eating and sleeping of my child. The monthly newsletters keep me up to date with all going on at Hazelwood. I would recommend to anyone.

We are over the moon with the care our child has received at the nursery and the schools club. Our child is coming to the end of her time at the after school club as she starts her next big adventure at high school. Hazelwood Nursery has given our child an enriched learning environment from starting at 8-months-old to the age of 10-years. We have always had immense support from both settings and feel blessed that she has had the most amazing start there. Staff work above and beyond daily and this is reflected in our child's happiness and contentment. We will continue to use the holiday club and cannot recommend Hazelwood Nursery enough. Thank you for all the work you have done for our young lady, she has grown into such a confident girl, and it is all thanks to the care and commitment of a wonderful team.

My son enjoys every day that he is at nursery. The under two team are responsive, warm, excitable and very happy to look after my son from the moment he arrives. The activities that my son undertakes every day are varied, stimulating well through and well Executed. I have seen great development and advancement in his physical and mental cognitive abilities since his time at the nursery is supporting/encouraging his development. The food my son receives (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) are varied/fresh and nutritious/wholesome and mu son never returns home hungry. Water and milk are provided throughout the day and so my sone is never thirsty.

My child has learned a lot at nursery and we have settled into a great routine. I have no complaints about this nursery at all and would highly recommend it.

Hazelwood is an excellent nursery and I will be sad when my child moves onto school.

My son just left Hazelwood for school, after 3 wonderful years in this Nursery. We are so happy, our daughter will also be joining this nursery soon. Each staff member we have interacted with has been brilliant from babies to the preschool team, office, managers, cooks etc. The whole team are so family orientated. We felt really welcome from the moment of settling in the nursery at 1 year old. The staff did an amazing job to help him settle and also support me in the transition of back to work and separating from your child. I was reassured he would get a cuddle if he needed it. My son was so happy here, we are sad to leave. Hazelwood is such a fun, engaging, stimulating environment for children with really high standards of care and compassion for your child and your whole family. The communication helps you feel involved in what your child is doing. They support all stages of the children’s learning, give extra support if needed and meet emotional needs. They create real partnerships with parents.

Both my sons attended this wonderful nursery, my youngest is coming to the end of his time at the nursery (he is starting school in September).

I feel so honoured that both my boys were able to attend here. Without exception every single interaction I have had with the nursery has been positive - they create such a warm and engaging environment for the children to be in and I never have worried about them having a fun, stimulating and educational day here. The aunties are just amazing at what they do and I am honestly so sad that my time and the boys time with them is coming to an end. A few Aunties have all been such positive and supportive people in my life the past 4 years, I will be forever grateful.

My son has been attending after school club and holiday club, we are sad his time has come to an end as he is starting high school in September. All the staff are fantastic and so supportive. The staff are very approachable and always make time to discuss anything. My child has been so happy here and made so many friends. I can't recommend this nursery enough. I alway felt happy knowing my child was safe and well looked after. I love it how the staff include the children to make decisions about holiday club activities and trips. You are all amazing. The owner and the staff of this nursery can't be recommended or thanked enough for all the hard work and effort they put into each and every day for the children. They are so committed to making sure each day is packed full of enjoyable things to do! They have all been extremely influential in my daughter's learning, confidence and progress in everything that she does and I would not hesitate to recommend this to place to everyone.

My son 16months has been attending for 2 months. In this short time, I could not be happier. Prior to this, he was with a childminder. We chose a childminder as we wanted him to have personalised and consistent care, a home away from home. However, he was so unhappy. Both there and at home. After this, I went to lots of childminders but didn't get a good feeling. A friend recommended Hazelwood and thought we would give it a go. The 1st week he cried when I left but his aunties said he enjoyed his day. Now he runs into nursery and doesn't look back, has come on leaps and bounds, he is so happy when I collect him and I can see this at home too, got my happy boy back, he is like a different child! From the aunties to management, they all give such a personalised approach. Words cannot describe how happy we are and although a bigger setting than a childminder we all feel part of the Hazelwood family. We are looking to move house in Nov and our key criteria is to be near Hazelwood as couldn't imagine him anywhere else now. Thank you all!

I am so grateful to Hazelwood for being a part of my children's early years I am thrilled how much they have flourished into the confident and kind, outgoing children they are today - under Hazelwood's teaching and guidance. They have absolutely loved it at nursery, the staff are very supportive to the Children and Parents.

My daughter has attended this nursery for the past 4 years and I cannot praise this nursery enough. The staff team are always friendly and provide outstanding care and attention. The support they provide for your child and you as a parent is second to none. The whole team works so hard to prepare your child for their next steps in their learning journey, in a fun and exciting way that children enjoy. My daughter has made so many friends there and has grown in her confidence thanks to the encouragement from the staff team. I am extremely proud to inform people that my daughter attends such an outstanding nursery, confirmed also by their recent Ofsted Outstanding grade. If you are looking for a nursery then look no further, you will find it extremely difficult to find another nursery offering such outstanding activities with an outstanding staff team to match.

It’s very difficult to have to leave your child to return to work but we have been very lucky in our selection of nursery. The staff are excellent and I feel confident in leaving my child in the care of the staff. A big well done to all the staff and keep up the good work.
