Hazel Tree Montessori

We couldn't be happier with Hazel Tree. The staff are warm and very nurturing with the children. My son loves his teachers, and he learns so much. The children are all so calm and happy and there's a friendly atmosphere amongst the staff. We are always so confident that our child will be safe and happy at nursery. We appreciate you so much Hazel Tree.

My son has been going to this nursery for 18 months or so and it is fantastic, the staff are great with him, very knowledgeable, happy to assist with anything we are doing at home (changes in sleeping pattern, toilet training etc) and the results speak for themselves. Our son is kind, considerate and full of life, he is such a pleasure to parent and that is partly down to this nursery (and the fact we are fantastic parents!) I really couldn't recommend this nursery enough, and the fact there is a large waiting list speaks for itself, so do get in line if you are planning on sending your child as it can be quite a long wait. Has a lovely play area outside which gets changed up over the year to keep it interesting and entertaining for the children.

I was really worried about taking my daughter to a nursery and she's been with me full-time since birth, but seeing how much she loves to go and seeing how much her speech and social skills have developed since attending has allayed all my fears.

My child started in September and we have already noticed the changes in his behaviour. He wants to be more independent and do things himself. His vocabulary has improved drastically and he surprises us every day with new well-constructed sentences. The only reason I didn't give full marks for 'Value for money' is the cost.

My boy loves going to nursery. The staff are always friendly, their food menu is always healthy and they put a lot of effort and thought into the activities. They put on special events for Halloween, Christmas and Easter and regularly raise money for worthy community charities. They monitor our son’s progress through the Montessori method perfectly by using the app. We get updated every day on what he gets up to, with photos and progress reports on his fine and gross motor skills, language and speech and other important skills. We love that they tie all their lessons back to real life and allow the children to direct their own progress in the work cycle every morning. Thank you to the manager and the team!

Fantastic nursery! We have had our son in the nursery for the last three years and I can't recommend it enough. Polite staff who truly care about our son's progression. Food is exceptional and the activities and curriculum are truly engaging.

Lovely nursery, my little boy loves going. He enjoys work cycles and outdoor play, with the nursery providing lots of activities for them. He eats all of his meals and the staff are so kind and helpful. I feel he is well looked after whilst there.

My son has been here since April 2023 and he absolutely loves it. He settled in really well and rather quickly. He occasionally gets upset when being dropped off but that usually depends on whether he’s had a nap or not, regardless of this the staff are always willing to give him a cuddle when he’s sad and they’ve always made him feel reassured. He only attends 2 afternoon sessions a week but he’s now asking to go, he had a lovely relationship and bond with two members of staff in particular; he has now moved rooms and is developing a good bond with another member of staff and is asking to go to nursery which as a parent makes me so happy knowing he looks forward to going. All staff are always willing to answer any questions I have or offer support which is amazing! I am amazed at how much he’s grown and changed since being there with their help and guidance. Such an amazing nursery!

My daughter has been at Hazel Tree since May 2021, when she was 11 months old, and throughout this time the whole nursery team has been absolutely amazing. Her key workers have always been lovely people, the support staff are so friendly, and the nursery management are very thorough in their communications about both nursery news and messages that specifically relate to my daughter. It's been such a joy to see how much she has flourished at this nursery, and I'm so glad that we've managed to secure a place for our son to join the nursery this December.

For me, what was a big step leaving my son with someone else has been made so much easier and seamless at Hazel Tree Montessori.

Since the minute our son started, we've always felt completely relaxed leaving him with all the carers at Hazel Tree Montessori Day Nursery. We feel all of his carers really care about his well-being and development and always do what's best for him. Our son gets excited every day we tell him he's going to nursery and we can tell from all the pictures he has an amazing amount of fun! We also love the variety in the activities and food and we know our son does too - especially the food! We would recommend Hazel Tree to anyone looking for a nursery for their child.

I couldn't recommend Hazel Tree highly enough.

Our daughter started at Hazel Tree Montessori when she was 18 months old. We were nervous as our daughter is our first child but Hazel Tree made that feeling go straight away. We are kept up to date with any new activities our daughter does, making new friends and eating different foods to her daily plan. Our daughter would love to go every day if she could. Backpack on, shoes on waiting at the door. We feel part of their extended family. I highly recommend taking your loved one or ones to Hazel Tree Montessori.

All staff are friendly, welcoming and seem genuinely interested in each child's care and well-being. Good communication and lots of variety in the activities. The nursery is very clean, well run and has a great meal menu for the children.

The staff and standards at Holly Tree Montessori are like nothing we have seen before from a nursery. We are so impressed by the care they give to our daughter. She is loving every day she is there and we love receiving their detailed updates and photos on the app every day where she is always beaming with happiness! Holly Tree Montessori go above and beyond with developmental activities and themed fun/charity events. We are so impressed and our daughter's face lights up every time we approach the door!

Thank you for taking good care of my daughter and helping her to grow. The progress I have noticed since she joined the nursery is amazing. She has learned a lot and became very independent. The level of care is better than I could ever expect.

Absolutely outstanding. I could not recommend the teachers and environment highly enough, which shows in all the other happy children and parents. My daughter's confidence and overall learning and development continue to grow. Management communicates well. I could not be happier.
