Partou Best Friends Day Nursery & Pre-school in Mosley Common has been providing exceptional care and education for babies and children since 1998.

In 2021, the nursery moved to a modern, purpose-built building located on Parr Bridge Retail Park, with five bright and spacious playrooms that promote social and physical development. Children enjoy plenty of extra-curricular activities including swimming lessons and Spanish classes alongside having access to an incredible sensory room and large soft play area.

Modern outdoor environments include a second-floor open area terrace as well as a fabulous all-weather sensory garden, mud kitchen, and dedicated baby green. Parents can keep track of their child’s activities and development using the nursery’s online learning journal.

Delicious, nutritious meals and snacks are freshly prepared in the nursery kitchen, providing children with a balanced diet bursting with fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and fish.

Partou Best Friends is located on Mosley Common Road, just off the A580 East Lancashire Road, within easy reach of Tyldesley and Ellenbrook.

All the staff within the nursery have always been very friendly and welcoming to my son. He has settled well into each room he has moved into.

Our little boy has been at Best Friends Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Tyldesley for 8 months now, and we cannot fault the service and care he receives! His speech and eating has developed massively and I know he absolutely loves his time there. His key workers helped him settle in so well and

My son has attended Best Friends Nursery for over a year and we as a family couldn’t wish for a better nursery all around. The staff are friendly and very approachable, there are always different and relevant areas of play set out for the children and I feel my son is in a stable, safe environment.

Our son attended Best Friends from 6 months old until starting Reception in September. We would wholeheartedly recommend the nursery and preschool to any prospective parents. The standard of care as been excellent, and my son genuinely loves the manager and many many individual members of staff. He
still likes to go and visit and tell them about his 'big school' adventures. I had bad postnatal depression and I personally appreciated the support given by the manager to me, as well as knowing that our son was in a loving and safe environment when I couldn't be there myself.

My child loves this nursery and its staff who are energetic, committed and attentive. He also has a milk allergy that is managed and catered for extremely well by the chef. To drop him off and pick him up and see a smiling happy face shows me I made the right decision in choosing this nursery (and I
viewed a lot of others!). He is continually learning new skills and developing thanks to the time, effort and patience of the wonderful women and men working there. I am extremely grateful to be able to send him into this nursery knowing that he is safe and well cared for. I moved my daughter to Best Friends Nursery after moving to the area. She attended for just over 12 months and after numerous incidents, I had to pull her out with immediate effect. The staff in the preschool room were very unprofessional. I ended up complaining to the regional manager about the issues
I had and following a full investigation I was refunded the fees.
The preschool room is chaotic (I am aware of nurseries being busy). My child was continuously having accidents which I felt were happening due to the room not being fully staffed. One incident resulted in a fall off the climbing frame and my daughter's head was cut open. I was not called and simply turned up to pick my daughter up as usual with her head cut open. She was very distressed and had been for some time. I had a member of staff forever talking to me about how he 'hates his job' which was so unprofessional for someone looking after my child. Communication from management was appalling. I wish I had never sent her.

My son has attended Best Friends Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Tyldesley since he was eighteen months old and he is now in his final few months of preschool. From the start, my son struggled to settle when I dropped him off every morning but I can honestly say knowing how loving and caring the
girls were, I could walk away happy knowing that my son would soon calm down and be happy. Throughout the three years, my son has fully enjoyed his time here and has become such a clever, bright and outgoing child. I can’t thank the staff enough for all their love and support that they have given, it will be a very sad time when he is ready to leave for primary school.

My daughter started her settling in sessions at the age of thirteen months at the end of February 2021. She is currently only attending one day a week. She initially struggled to settle through the settling in sessions but the nursery staff assured me that once she was in for longer we would see an
improvement. How right they were. She’s only done three full days so far but the change in her is incredible. She was at her previous setting for four months and never fully settled; never smiled and wasn’t showing her character. She is already doing this at Best Friends Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Tyldesley in such a short space of time. Their observations reflect what we see at home, which is incredibly reassuring. As soon as I mentioned my daughter's allergies to them, they were knowledgeable about them and reassured me how easily they could cater for them.
I wish we had started at Best Friends Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Tyldesley from the beginning. So far, we are really happy with everything from the nursery. Best decision we have made!

I highly recommend Best Friends Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Tyldesley. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since attending Best Friends Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Tyldesleyfrom, since he was a tiny toddler. The staff go above and beyond to make it so fun and homely for the children
and my daughter never stops talking about her days here. The preschool room is amazing and my daughter is now more than ready to start school in September. Thanks to the incredible support and learning they provide with their staff and teachers. I have always felt relaxed about sending my daughter into nursery and I love the beaming smile she has every day going in, which definitely means something! The staff always keep parents in the loop of things going on and anything coming up. The parental involvement is amazing and seeing my girls observations being sent directly to my phone, so I can see how happy she is and the things they do, makes my day! Highly recommend.

A lovely little nursery, we viewed a few and the people really stood out here. They are so warm and friendly. My daughter loves her key workers and formed great bonds. She does lots of fun activities and I receive regular updates of what she is up to. She has a wide variation of food and eats really
well, which is great to hear. Throughout Covid-19 the nursery has been so facilitating and remained enjoyable for my daughter, despite restrictions. We can’t wait to move to the new nursery, it looks amazing. I couldn’t of picked a better nursery and people to take care of my daughter. Thank you.

Best Friends Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Tyldesley is a lovely nursery. The staff are very warm and friendly. Highly recommended. My son has been attending since September, I was very nervous about him going as he’s been with me for so long in lockdown but that soon changed as he settled in
