Their aim is to provide the children in their care with a positive and caring atmosphere, ensuring a safe learning environment where each child is encouraged to reach their potential.

The nursery was purpose-built in 1994 with an exciting and inspirational outdoor area within the Oldham hospital grounds. The nursery operates a strong parent partnership policy to ensure they are informed and involved in their child's progress. The nursery also offers 10% discount to all emergency workers.

Ever since my daughter started at Teddies, she has grown in confidence. I used to worry that my child is not as verbal as she should be at her age, however since joining, her language skills have improved. She talks about her day at nursery with me, including the staff who she calls, 'my teachers' and
how lovely they are. The staff here are always happy to help with my mummy worries. They give me daily updates on my daughter (toilet training, meals and activities) so I don't worry while I am at work. You can tell the staff enjoy the work they do, which makes a massive difference in how they deliver at the nursery. Thank you everyone.

Teddies is amazing nursery with passionate and dedicated teachers. My daughter loves going there, she has learnt great socialising skills and able to interact with children all age. She learns new things every day.

This nursery is amazing.
The staff are so lovely and supportive of not just the children but the parents too.
I recently have had a very traumatic experience personally and the manager has been really supportive through this. My child is flourishing at the nursery asks you can tell every staff member
cares about all the children.
Highly recommend this nursery.

The staff have been very patient and helpful in helping my angel potty train. They have been a great help. The girls are always keeping me up to date on his progress and what he's heading towards. All in all a lovely nursery.

Lovely nursery. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly. I really love that they attend to my child's needs and help support him with areas that need improvement. My child has come on a lot since attending. Overall a satisfied mummy.

Lovely nursery atmosphere, my daughter's settled really well and loves her time at Teddies. Staff are brilliant with her, always keeping us up to date with what she gets up to, what she eats, drinks ect via the app. And daily detailed handovers about what activities they've done couldn't ask for a better

I was very anxious at first about sending my 2-year-old child to the nursery however, this nursery is brilliant. All the staff at this nursery are amazing. They are very friendly and constantly reassuring me which has put my mind at ease. The staff are very approachable, caring and helpful. They are
supportive of my child's care needs. They provide regular updates on the app on what my child is doing throughout the day and provide feedback on my child's progress and development. The staff are always welcoming and attentive as they ensure my child is settled. Their communication with parents is excellent and the environment is lovely for the children. I am happy to leave my child in their care as I know he will be in good hands and well looked after. My overall experience with them is amazing and I am grateful for the care my child receives.

My son goes to this nursery, he absolutely loves it. All the staff are so welcoming and my son gets on with every child. He loves to go into the big garden and get dirty. The staff go above and beyond for all the children.

The ladies are compassionate and have good communication, my son has a few problems and they have been brilliant with him, he enjoys going, always eats the food, and I am overall happy with leaving my child in their care.

We just wanted to say a massive thank you for everything you have done to ensure my children settle into their new adventure in nursery. I was so anxious (I'm sure you could tell) as we hadn't done any baby groups etc due to my daughter's heart op so I was so worried about how they would do. I know
the first few weeks were a challenge for you and for us with them being poorly but the last few weeks they have just settled so well and that's a testament to your patience and also the quality of what activities you do with them. We can really see a difference in them already with their development and just how happy and content they are when we pick them up and also at home afterwards, plus they have always slept through after a nursery day! I am so glad we chose your nursery and I know they are going to be so happy with you.

All the staff provide excellent support and care for my little boy. Everyone in the nursery knows him by name, even the staff who don't work in the room with him. The support that they have given to my child is amazing, he is coming on so well with his physical development. He loves coming into nursery
and his face lights up when he sees his keyworker. Nursery have really supported us with BLW and made the leap to BLW as simple for us at home and possible. Updates throughout the day on the app really helped when sending my little boy to nursery for the first couple of months and I still enjoy seeing pictures of him playing and learning. My child is so happy at this nursery. Would recommend to all friends and family.

The staff provide excellent support and care for all the children. They go above and beyond in supporting families with any care needs they may have and keep families fully up to date throughout the day through their app.
Communication is excellent and this has shown through my children's progress
as both seem to be learning really well.
Would recommend this nursery to family.

Lyndsey Cahill

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2010

I have worked at Teddies Day Nursery for 11 years and have progressed from being a Nursery practitioner up to being an excellent Nursery manager. I currently also lead the preschool room ensuring all our children are at the best point of their early education and are school ready. I enjoy being at the forefront of Early Education and ensure my knowledge and training is of the highest standard and love being able to support the other staff in their development.
