Teddies Nursery and its staff believe they play an important part in the early years and involve themselves in every aspect of the children's personal development. Their aim is to provide the children in their care with a positive and caring atmosphere, ensuring a safe learning environment where each child is encouraged to reach their potential.

The nursery was purpose-built in 1994 with an exciting and inspirational outdoor area within the Oldham hospital grounds. The nursery operates a strong parent partnership policy to ensure they are informed and involved in their child's progress. The nursery also offers 10% discount to all emergency workers.

My daughter has attended Teddies for 2 years 10 months, I am extremely happy with the level of care and learning she receives. The online app allows me to see what she has been learning in class, and the many photographs and observations made by the teachers show me that she is well stimulated and happy.
My daughter loves going to nursery and is thriving. The entire staff are all absolutely lovely and any queries/issues are immediately and efficiently dealt with by the managers. I would highly recommend Teddies to anyone who has a child between 0-4 years of age. I rate Teddies as Five Star.

We have only used the nursery for a short while but, in that time, have found the staff to be really nice, helpful and friendly. A great plus for me is the flexibility on times, days etc.

The staff are very caring, supportive and very experienced. My son absolutely loved all the staff members and built some brilliant relationships. He came on so much and the staff were always there to help us with any problems we had or with advice we needed. Thanks, Teddies Nursery.

My daughter currently attends Teddies and the progression in her learning has been astounding. The learning environment is fantastic and the activities provided are of a high standard. I always go to work feeling my daughter is safe and extremely happy. The management and staff always go above and beyond.

I am so impressed by the professionalism and warmness of the staff. They are welcoming and keep me well informed on the activities my son has completed each day. He is coming on very quickly with their expert guidance. All the activities look brilliant in the photos provided on the well thought out
app I can use. It tracks his sleep, nappy changes, bottles and even his development. All members of staff are accommodating and accessible to our needs. Friendly faces and always happy to discuss my son's progress, next steps and upcoming events. The manager and all the staff are fantastic. I am confident and happy to send my son to nursery here as I know he is getting the best start in life at Teddies. Excellent setting and I would recommend it to everyone.

The staff at Teddies are so caring and attentive to my child’s needs. They have supported his development which has seen him progress massively. The staff always have a smile for all the children. Wonderful nursery, can’t praise them enough for all they do.

My daughter loves attending Teddies. All the staff are caring and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. We are really impressed with the new app and the home intent which gives us lots of ideas to try at home, which our daughter loves to do.

My eldest daughter attended Teddies Nursery and now my youngest daughter attends. From the very beginning, I felt comfortable and at ease. All the staff are friendly, warm, build a special relationship with the children and they are very approachable should you need their help or guidance. My eldest
daughter developed a fear come night time, I made Teddies aware and they where so helpful and understanding. They helped my daughter talk through her fears and made her a special worry box which she still has to this day. This is an example of how caring and considerate the staff are. They learn so much both indoors and outdoors, time exploring, playing and building new relationships. I would recommend anyone to use teddies.

My 13mth old son attends Teddies and the activities provided to develop his learning are outstanding I love to see what he is achieving at nursery through the online app and it's great I can upload what he is doing at home also. The girls are really welcoming, warm and fabulous as keyworkers and my

I have used the nursery for the last 6 years with both my girls. I have found the staff are always approachable with any questions I may have. My eldest daughter needed a patch for her eye every day and the nursery worked with all the agencies involved to dedicate the time to make sure this was carried
out properly. My niece and nephew now attend the nursery following my recommendation and it is lovely to see how happy the children are on a daily basis.

My child has been to three nurseries including Teddies. I knew as soon as I got there that I felt good about the place. My daughter loves it here. I wish I had sent my other children here years ago. I really don't think you'll be disappointed if you sent your child here. The staff are brilliant and

Lyndsey Cahill

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2010

I have worked at Teddies Day Nursery for 11 years and have progressed from being a Nursery practitioner up to being an excellent Nursery manager. I currently also lead the preschool room ensuring all our children are at the best point of their early education and are school ready. I enjoy being at the forefront of Early Education and ensure my knowledge and training is of the highest standard and love being able to support the other staff in their development.
