My daughter has been in Newbank House now for 5 months and she has come on leaps and bounds. The ladies at Newbank are teaching her important life skills as well as manners and following the curriculum. A huge well done to the ladies across the nursery for such a lovely Mother’s Day afternoon tea where
all women of the family were invited. I enjoyed spending that special time with my daughter and getting to see the other mums and nursery staff. My little girl loves all the staff in dinkies and is excited to move up to twinnies next month, they are going above and beyond to get her introduced to all the staff in twinnies and so far so good, thank you to all the staff you are amazing at what you do.

My daughter has attended Newbank House Nursery since she was 15 months old. She was warmly welcomed into the Tweenies room and has since thrived through Main House and now Rising 3’s. She is 33 months now and her face lights up when we mention it’s a nursery morning. I feel the staff build a positive
relationship straight away and they really know how to engage your child. The staff are extremely supportive in all areas of your child’s development and they have been amazing, especially when she began toilet training! The staff plan carefully and purposefully to ensure all the busy tasks in nursery are inviting and fun. She comes home every day smiling and ready to share her nursery news.

My three-year-old grandson goes to Newbank Day Nursery and has done since he was one. The staff are fantastic with him. He was diagnosed with nonverbal autism at 2.5yrs and the staff have been so helpful with him. Each day I get told what he has done, eaten and whether he has had a sleep. If he does
something new the staff get as excited as we as a family do, this could just be something like making a different sound or joining in with other children but these are big steps for a child with autism.

Since starting at Newbank House Day Nursery my son has developed considerably in many areas. The activities that he takes part in are well planned and executed: loads of fun and extremely educational.
It is always apparent how much planning and preparation has been done by the staff.
The staff are
fantastic - Newbank has a real family atmosphere: all the staff are so hard working and have fantastic bonds with all the children.
During a recent bout of illness, the staff could not do enough to support myself and my little boy.
When I chose Newbank I did so because it was clean, had fantastic facilities and an amazing educational setting; it has exceeded my expectations.

This nursery is outstanding. The staff are very friendly and supportive. They always communicate with you and keep you informed. My son struggled with separation anxiety and they have helped us through the transition and he is very settled here. They do a wide range of activities and offer a great variety
of food. Would highly recommend this nursery.

I changed my son's nursery after 6 months, as I wasn't happy with the standard of care at his previous nursery. I sent him to Newbank, slightly apprehensive due to my previous experience. I'm quite an anxious mum, at the best of times, with being a first-time mum, but I couldn't recommend Newbank enough!
The staff are so welcoming, kind, and polite... in comparison to other settings I've experienced, the staff are real-life angels, two in particular, the time they take to explain things, discussing development and how/what I can do things at home to assist development, every time I enter and leave the nursery, I feel at ease. They're so passionate about their job and it really does reflect! My son runs into nursery now, I don't have the heartbreak of tears every morning. If you're reading the reviews to try and pick a nursery for your child, this is the one!! I don't leave reviews usually, but this nursery deserves it. Fabulous!

My son is currently in the Dinkies group at Newbank House Day Nursery and our experience could not be better. The staff are incredibly welcoming and kind and really care about the children. They are absolute angels when it comes to getting all of the children to sleep at once. I don’t know how they
do it.
I particularly enjoy the fact that each month is a different theme and country focus for my son to learn about. He’s really getting a well-rounded education at such a young age which is something I’m really proud of as a parent.
As a new mom who has recently gone back to work, it was really hard sending my son to nursery, but he has adjusted so well and I have complete confidence in the staff that my son is looked after well. I have no worries or concerns after I drop him off because I know he is in safe and capable hands.
Thank you so much Newbank staff for providing my son with such an enriching start to his childhood.

My daughter attends just twice a week and has done since August 2021. It's taken a while for her to settle, but thanks to the patience of the ladies at Newbank, she has finally settled. My daughter always eats well, naps well and has a big smile when being collected - in some cases she doesn't want
to leave!
When sending emails, the manager is always very quick to reply and has always been helpful with any queries or questions I've had too.

Communication in regards to invoicing is not always clear. Emails were sent with no follow-up call and a suspension notice was given for child with no explanation.
Overall school club is fantastic and the lady that leads the club is great, cannot fault her!
Snacks for the after-school club are poor,
cheese and breadsticks? Crumpets? For the price, it should be something more substantial.
Otherwise happy with everything else.

Having moved my son here at a later age following problems at a different placement the staff have gone above and beyond to make him welcome and he has quickly felt secure and happy at Newbank.


Information is always effectively communicated, staff are always happy and approachable and the nursery

itself is clean and bright. The outside play areas also offer a variety of experiences.


Parents are encouraged to participate in the learning programme with mini homework activities and parent's evening. The variety of food on the menu is excellent meaning my son is often trying foods I don’t necessarily serve at home. My son is always happy and cheery when he has his nursery days.

The staff are fantastic. All my children love attending here. My 1 year old has no issues being dropped off he has been in both dinkies and tweenies rooms and he has loved both. I cant find a fault. Great nursery.

The most wonderful nursery and could not have chosen anywhere better for my daughter to be! They went above and beyond to help my daughter settle in and now she absolutely loves it! My experience at the nursery has been fantastic overall. The management team are so accommodating and friendly, particularly during the pandemic. They made fees voluntary during lockdown which was a massive help in such stressful times. They have also done really well at keeping the young people safe
from covid as far as I'm aware, as we have only had to self isolate on one occasion. The premises are clean and tidy and they adhere to all regulations around social distancing.


The staff in Tweenies helped me to feel so reassured when my son started nursery during the pandemic. I was so anxious but they really helped settle us in and my little boy has thrived ever since.


My daughter really enjoys preschool and all the staff listen to any concerns we might have. They always try hard to ensure the little ones are happy, which is really important to me.

This is a fantastic nursery, my little boy has been coming since he was 9 months old and he has come on leaps and bounds since coming here. The staff are absolutely fantastic with him. He learns something different every day! I also love that he goes out into the garden for fresh air a lot and they

My son started at Newbank House in May and the progress I have seen is amazing. He absolutely loves going every day and loves his key worker. The communication between staff and parents is great and I am always kept up to date with what's happening, especially with my son. I love that the staff really
care about your children and it's such a happy place for little ones. I drop my son off every morning on my way to work, knowing that he is safe and happy and I have nothing to worry about while he's there, such peace of mind. I love this place and would definitely recommend it to any parent wanting to put their children in nursery.

I am a dedicated Manager holding a Level 3 NVQ in Childcare and Education, with a strong passion for giving every child the very best start in life. I am committed to creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where children feel valued, supported, and inspired to learn and grow.


I have proudly worked here since 2018 and genuinely love my role. During this time, I have completed a range of professional development courses to ensure the children in our care consistently thrive. I hold a Level 3 qualification in Speech and Language, am trained in the WELLCOMM programme, and serve as our Communication Champion, supporting both children and staff to develop strong communication skills.


As a mother myself, I truly understand how important high-quality care is to families. This personal experience strengthens my commitment to ensuring that every child in our setting receives exceptional care and attention. I take great pride in leading a supportive and passionate team that shares the same values and consistently provides outstanding care for all the children entrusted to us.
