Set in a vibrant borough of Manchester, the nursery boasts a large garden with plenty of themed spaces for children to improve their motor skills and expand their curiosity. My daughter has been at Bright Horizons since 5 months old. From her settle in sessions through to now it has been great! All staff are really helpful and friendly and do all they can to support parents when their child has first joined. My daughter enjoys her time at the nursery. I love that she is
always learning new things and trying new foods. I would definitely recommend this nursery to everybody I know. Thank you to you all staff, especially in explorers!

Have used the nursery for around 2 years and found it to be a supportive, kind and a fun environment for the children and parents too.
The fact that the staff have stayed and stayed tells me that they are happy there too and that contributes to the happy atmosphere.

We have had a very positive experience. Our child loves coming to nursery and talks about the staff affectionately. He has made fantastic progress and has made lots of friends. Staff keep me informed of his day and give advice/ideas for us to follow through at home.

The staff are all incredibly friendly and caring. I totally trust them to look after my son in the best possible way. I feel he is safe and cared for. I am confident that if he was poorly or needed extra attention they would give it. The food is varied and nutritious. He is very happy at the nursery
and I can see him developing every day. I am kept updated on what he is doing and receive a daily summary of his activities. I have no cause for complaint and I would absolutely recommend this nursery to others.

Overall the care given to my child has been fantastic, she is given lots of attention throughout the day by the team. Our daughter had developed enormously whilst at nursery through learning and playing. Overall all the team have been very friendly, helpful and full of advice. Putting my daughter in
this nursery is the best decision we have made. I cant thank the team enough.

Bright Horizons, which is based in the Old Trafford area is a vibrant and friendly setting. My daughter enjoys attending. The staff are nurturing. The rooms are light and airy and I love the outside space, which is equipped with lots of development and age appropriate toys. As a parent I was attracted
to the nursery because both staff and children represent the diverse community in which my daughter and I live in. They keep you posted at every stage of your child's development. Unlike most nurseries, they offer a parents evening every six months, there are also extra activities, such as stretch and grow which my daughter thoroughly enjoys. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

I was a emotional wreck when my child first started his journey at Bright Horizons. He was upset but it took him a good couple of months to settle him, eventually one day there were no tears, the staff in the room were brilliant, they reassured me on a daily basis that he was enjoying his time here,
I had regular updates, and photographs, the girls in the room didn't mind when I was ringing during the day.
When he moved up into the big room with his friends, he was so excited and straight away made a really good bond with his key worker and other staff in the room, I would see him during the day enjoying himself, making lots of friends, doing lots of messy play activities, pre-school. When picking him up from nursery he would say to me 'its not time to go home yet'. I would get regular updates from the staff as to how he was getting on in the room, and they were there when I had a question that needed answering. the staff were friendly and I got on with them really well. My child enjoyed his time at nursery.

The staff in baby 2 are excellent. They engage really well with the children and look after them very well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery to other parents.

Laura holds a Level 6 qualification in Childhood Studies and a master’s degree in Psychology, reflecting her deep passion for education and child development. With over 24 years of experience in childcare, she has not only gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise but has also developed a warm and nurturing approach to supporting children and their families.


Recently, Laura joined Trafford Nursery, where she is excited to share her extensive experience and bring fresh ideas to the team. She is committed to creating a loving and supportive environment where children can thrive and parents feel confident and reassured. Laura believes in fostering strong relationships with families and understands the importance of working in partnership to ensure every child reaches their full potential.


Outside of work, Laura cherishes quality time with her husband and family, who are her greatest source of joy. She also finds inspiration in reading, which helps her continue learning and growing, both personally and professionally.

Liv

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Livv has worked for Bright Horizons for just over nine years. After gaining valuable experience, she moved to a different nursery to take on the role of Deputy Manager. She is now very excited to return to Trafford to cover Karima's maternity leave.


Livv began her journey at Bright Horizons as an Unqualified Nursery Nurse. She went on to complete her Level 3 Childcare Diploma, which enabled her to progress into the roles of Room Leader and subsequently Third in Charge. In addition, she has achieved a foundation degree in Childhood Studies.


She has a passion for supporting children as they grow and develop, taking great joy in helping them reach their milestones. Livv is dedicated to making each child's nursery experience as enjoyable and enriching as possible.

Chloe

Chloe

Job Title: Third in Charge

Chloe has been working in early years since leaving high school and has been part of the Bright Horizons family for a total of five years. She began her journey as an apprentice, progressing to Room Leader and is now proud to be the Third in Charge at Trafford.


She is a Level 4 qualified practitioner and also holds additional qualifications in supporting children with SEND and safeguarding. During her role as Baby Room Leader, she has had the opportunity to extend her knowledge through various training courses. She is Trafford's ‘Communication Champion’ and ‘Nurture Approach Champion.’ She is passionate about providing a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can thrive.


Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She also has a passion for cooking and baking and enjoys trying out new recipes to share with her loved ones.
