My daughter has been at the nursery for 10 months now. The staff are all lovely and I feel my daughter is in very good hands while I’m at work. The outdoor space directly going out from each room is one of the reasons I chose the nursery, and the range of activities in the rooms is helping my daughter develop well. The food is made fresh on-site and is very nutritious - again another reason I think this nursery is so good.
My grandson has attended since he was 9 months old. In last year he has developed enormously thanks to all educational input and support from staff especially his key worker who has taken time to understands his needs.
My daughter has spent a very happy 18 months at the nursery. The staff are brilliant and she’s so excited to tell me about all the activities every day.
My son has recently started this nursery after transferring from another Bright Horizons. I cannot thank the team enough for their support during this difficult time.
They have supported us all through our anxiety of relocating and have made what should be a difficult time an enjoyable transition. My son is very happy in his new preschool! He now takes part in a complimentary stretch and grow session that he tells be about at home time, his favourite part has been visiting the local library. The garden at Trafford allows him to explore and develop his imagination, he spends a lot of time in the mud kitchen and also tells me about the 'special dinosaur den'.
As a first time mom, finding a good nursery for my little one was one of the hardest things to do! We visited the Trafford branch and instantly fell in love. My little one was so comfortable to be without me and just seemed to settle so well.
They took a scary moment for me, especially with going back to work full time and turned it into such a pleasant experience and I am so grateful to them!
My girl has been developing so well since joining and she now waves goodbye and has no tears when I drop her off. She’s only 11 months old. She loves her key person and all the ladies that work in the baby room. Dropping her off and picking her up is such a pleasant time now.
Thank you, everyone, for being so welcoming, patient and understanding. Especially with my 100's of calls in the first few weeks of leaving her. And how the nursery manager is able to remember all the kids' names amazes me to this day!
I would highly recommend this nursery! There are really lovely people working there.
Our son has been in the baby and toddler rooms and both have been excellent. The staff all seem to really care and constantly come up with new activities and things for the kids. We like the fact that the kids can be in and out of the garden. There is really not much I can fault them for - they've made it as easy and reassuring as it could have been to leave our son there every day!
Bright Horizons Trafford is a brilliant nursery. My son has been there for 3 years and loves it. The staff are all lovely and very caring. There is a great outdoor space for the kids to use and they are out in all weather which is great. The food is excellent too and varied. The preschool programme has really prepared my son for school and he has developed so well whilst attending the nursery. I would definitely recommend.
Good being able to see her interactive with her friends and taking part in all the activities she enjoys.
Being a working mum doesn't give me the opportunity to experience days like this so thoroughly enjoyed it.
So far I am happy with the service.
There is always something happening like activities/ events/celebrations.
The amount they do and teach the children is great.
The new manager is very different to the old and is taking some getting used to but seems to have her heart in the right place.
My son loves it here.
He has come on a lot in his development and his key worker is amazing.
And also to see my child interacting well with staff and children.
My twin boys loved snack time at nursery and would not go home until they had their bananas at 5.45pm. The staff helped with independent eating and toilet training and were very successful at these tasks.
I'm so happy with all the staff members. Fantastic learning and developing.
Highly recommend.
The staff here are friendly and kind. Even though our son only attends a couple of days a week every member of staff has taken the time to get to know him. There is clearly good leadership with managers being present and involved. The rooms are clean, the food good and there is a wide range of activities to keep our very busy son entertained. I feel he has learnt so much already and his social skills have benefitted from attending this multicultural and diverse nursery. We are very happy we chose this nursery.
Amazing nursery with lovely staff. Unfortunately, we're moving from Manchester. Everyone was very supportive and lovely during this difficult period of time for every mother (5 months) of coming back to work. My boy loved the food, playing with the toys and dancing time. The manager and staff members always greet us with a smile.
A wonderful nursery. Natural, fun and caring staff, great garden area, great facilities, easy parking or buggy parking for drop off. Reasonable value compared to others. Open 8-6 with full or half days available. 2 levels of room with kids moving up about 2.5 years old. Learning logs give lots of information and there are routine chances to see it or talk to staff. We chose it for two key reasons. It's a clean, modern facility that feels bright and airy and all in proportion rather than some of the nurseries in adapted houses. We found you either like one type or the other. The very best thing about the nursery though is its cultural diversity which really reflects the city we live in.
Our third child is now in his last year at this nursery, and we have used it continuously since 2009. All three have had a really brilliant time with staff who are more than capable. Turnover of key staff has been very low in the eight years - one lovely lady has cared for all three over this time and our two youngest have both had the same brilliant guy for their preschool years.
A deciding factor in choosing this nursery was that the building is 'purpose-built' with loads of natural light and outdoor space (crucially for an urban nursery, the outdoor space is shielded from the worst road traffic fumes and noise by the building itself). The kids have loads of access to the outdoor space and can run around to their heart's content.
I'd have to recommend it to anyone.
This nursery is wonderful. I feel extremely grateful that I decided to send my son here - I feel safe leaving him and feel that he has developed so much since starting in April. His original settling in period was difficult as he had only ever known myself and his dad - but the team at Bright Horizons were super supportive and helped me through the transition as much as him. He now loves coming to nursery, loves seeing his friends there and loves everyone who works in his room. He is a more confident child since attending. I also really like the way I can call or email at any time throughout the day and the nursery comes straight back to me. I also feel that the activities he does are really varied and that they are helping him to develop even further. They are a really friendly team and I feel confident trusting them with my most valuable thing in the world!
The staff at this nursery provide great care for my child and is supported well with great learning opportunities. She enjoys her time there and is excelling in her learning. Great variety of meals catering to my child requirements.
