Serendipitys Day Nursery & Pre-School Balderton

My granddaughter is in the baby room at Serendipitys Day Nursery & Pre-School Balderton. Well, what can I say - what a lovely nursery, very caring ladies in all rooms. They do me a run down every day all about what she has been doing. I am happy to leave her in the morning, and also, she is happy for me to leave her. I would 100% recommend this nursery if you want special care for your child or grandchild. A big thank you to you all for all you do.

I would recommend Serendipitys to anyone who wants their child to be in a home-from-home, safe, friendly environment. All the staff are super approachable and always help where they can. Since my daughter has been attending, she has grown in confidence and learnt so many new skills in a short space of time. The handovers, in particular, are never rushed and always have good detail of what been up to during the time in nursery. One lady, in particular, is brilliant, and I always feel assured my daughter is in good hands! Thank you.

My little girl loves coming here, and I know she's taken care of. I have no concerns or worries about how she is progressing and is coming on leaps and bounds. The staff really know each child, and you feel like they listen to your worries and concerns and try and help as much as they can.

Having been through the pandemic with no interaction with other children, coming to nursery has enhanced his social skills and this is entirely due to the encouragement from the knowledgable and caring staff. It is a pleasure to collect him from nursery as he is excited and happy. The staff here are second to none with patience in abundance.

The staff have been absolutely amazing over the past year; especially with my son's health/behaviour. We couldn't ask for any more care. A member of staff is absolutely incredible. An amazing support and my son loves her so much!

Our child has always gone in happily and comes out smiling. He has made some friends and likes to chat about them. The nursery has been supportive of his milk allergy and has provided him with dairy-free alternatives in line with each weekly menu.

My son always enjoys his lunch at nursery and always has seconds.

It's nice to get a written diary to tell you how his day has been, how he has eaten and slept too.

My little boy really enjoys his time at Serendipitys. They do loads of different activities. The staff are very caring. He particularly enjoys the varied and well thought out menu. I would definitely recommend Serendipitys to anyone looking for high-quality childcare.

My first very positive impression of Serendipitys Nursery Balderton was the way in which they dealt with my daughter’s initial visit when she and her partner were seeking the right nursery for my then six-month-old grandson. Being a first-time mum, she was understandably feeling the ‘guilt’ associated with having to go back to work and leaving her precious child in another’s care. The team was empathetic, patient and reassuring, helpful in accommodating an early start and finding out as much as they could about my grandson and his routines. The Baby Room impressed his parents too. They were convinced then it was the right place for them, and that has only been confirmed several times over in the ensuing months. When I’m on pick up duty, I am greeted by a friendly, informative nursery nurse, and importantly, a happy child who is clean, well-fed and - if he could talk - he’d be full of tales of an entertaining day.

I am so impressed with Serendipitys and the standard of care they provide for my toddler. She has never been happier in a nursery setting, and her development in all areas has been exceptional as a result of Serendipitys. The staff are very thorough, professional and approachable, communication is always excellent, and they are very attentive to my daughter's needs, progress and development. They provide an exciting range of leisure, creative, social and educational activities for the children and encourage them all to get outdoors as much as possible. They have a lovely outside and garden area, and also take the children out to local green spaces to explore the natural environment. Their menu is also of a very high standard, and they provide nutritious and healthy meals and snacks for the children. I love the fact that the toddlers sit together around a table rather than in high chairs; such a great way to promote independence and table etiquette. Thank you so much to all the staff!

My child is happy and settled at nursery. The staff are wonderful, caring and attentive. I can always approach the nursery, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

My son has been attending this nursery since November 2021. The staff are fantastic and so friendly. There is so much for my son to do. I’m so glad I chose to send my son here. He loves to come here.

The staff are so lovely. Would not like my granddaughter to go anywhere else... she's doing really well attending Serendipitys. They have a varied menu. There are plenty of activities for children of different ages.
