We are very pleased with the service at Balderton Serendipitys and really happy to see how well our daughter has progressed since joining. They made it so easy for her settle in and she really looks forward to going. There's lots of fun activities for her and the app make it really easy to manage from

My 2 year old has recently started nursery, and no nursery stood out to me in till serendipity's balderton. I was so worried that my little one wouldn't settle but there was nothing to worry about the staff were so welcoming, on day one and so helpful. They are kind and friendly which put me more at
ease, they do an amazing job with my boy and i really appreciate what they do for him.

Since our daughter has attended the nursery she has flourished in all aspects of her learning, communication and participation.
The additional support and assistance we have recieved from the nursery has been nothing but outstanding. They have been supportive in all aspects for our daughter and us
as parents.
Lines of communication are always kept clear and open in regards to support and and techniques we use at home and there. To ensure a smoother transition for our daughter. Accommodating in all aspects for her learning everyday life skills and new food experiences, which is a struggle for our daughter.
I have nothing but praise and positivity for this nursery and the staff that support our daughter. Caring and clean homely environment.

Amazing staff! My daughter loves the nursery and every day asks to go back. I will forever be grateful when they took us in at short notice and accommodated mt daughter's allergies.
Since at this nursery, my daughter is much happier. The ladies there are always happy. I wish I had moved nurseries sooner.

Since the manager took over at Serendipitys Day Nursery & Pre-School Balderton, the handovers are more in depth, you get to know what your child has been doing throughout the day. She has done a smooth transition onto the app, she treats all children equally and my son got to experience the pantomime
for the first time. She is really good at making sure all your child belongings come back to you. The manager is really good at getting the additional help with your child, she has worked wonders with my son.

Since my son moved from the baby room to the toddler room, I feel they haven't looked after him properly, it shouldn't have taken him 6 months to transition into a toddler room. Why was nothing put in place to make this easier for him and me not knowing this didn't help either. I wasn't always kept
informed when he was going through a development assessment and I brought up my concerns about my son might be autistic. I feel the manager who is doing maternity cover, hasn't listened to my views and my concerns, I feel like she has just brushed it off. His key worker is brilliant with him and the other staff in the toddler room are too, they know how to deal with his meltdowns and his bad days. I feel like they can't meet his needs so that's why he will be going somewhere different after the Easter holiday.

Additionally, we track and observe all children's developmental progress, referring to outside agencies as and when necessary. A member of our Senior team has reached out to discuss your concerns, this, unfortunately, did not result in a resolution or an agreement with your review assessment. Furthermore, it is a parent's responsibility to ensure their child's safety when they have left or are leaving nursery; to grade us low for safeguarding is a misrepresentation of our setting. Serendipitys Day Nursery & Pre-School Balderton has been an amazing place for our two children. All staff here are wonderful and they seem to do various activities with love, fun, care and support and this we could witness by seeing both of our children’s development progress which we are very much
happy with. As well, after each session, staff always communicate with us and keep us updated with their progress and always have been very friendly and supportive whenever it has been needed. Also, must say very supportive whenever allocating or rearranging sessions. Our children love being here and we really love this homely oriented place. Would definitely recommend!

Great nursery that my son has been going to since 9 months old. As a small 'home from home' nursery it is lovely that all the staff know my son and myself even though he hasn't been into all the rooms.
Even though there isn't an app here like some other settings, we got all the info for the day from
the baby room in a notebook and handover at the end of the day is excellent for the older rooms.

Never had any issues here. My daughter loves going to nursery and all the staff seem so lovely and friendly too. My daughter really has warmed to some of the staff but particularly to one member of staff. She eats all the food despite not eating some at home and as far as I'm aware, they are listening
to us and our needs with regard to potty training. Thank you

Serendipitys Day Nursery & Pre-School Balderton is an amazing nursery and since starting there last summer, my little one has come on tremendously in terms of independence. The staff are all wonderful, super encouraging, committed and the communication is second to none.
I would highly recommend this
nursery and am so thankful for all that the team do, they are flexible and accommodating, even at the last minute!

Both of my children have been at Serendipitys Day Nursery & Pre-School since they were six months old and my oldest is now due to start school in September. They both love attending.

My daughter has been cared for at this nursery since she started in September. They were really supportive during the transition to part-time nursery and my daughter has settled in so well. The home-from-home environment really suits my daughter. She enjoys the activities and loves time outside, which
is encouraged. They provide great opportunities for us, as parents, to get involved and share regularly things the children have been up to - baking, pictures, other creations, photos and cards. My daughter runs in every day and can’t wait to get the day started. They have been really inclusive in supporting my daughter with her dietary needs and this is handled sensitively. Communication is always timely and they have been really flexible with accommodating additional requests as needed. Myself and my husband feel really happy we chose this nursery and our daughter loves her time here.

This is my second child to attend this nursery. My daughter loves every minute of being there! The staff are amazing and I know that she is well looked after, the nursery has wonderful resources for the children and a variety of meals. I would recommend this nursery 100%.

A really lovely nursery with a home-from-home feel. Staff always coming up with new ideas to help the children develop and learn. Really good outdoor space with lots of activities. A diverse menu to allow the children to try new foods.

Our little boy loves going to Serendipitys Day Nursery & Pre-School Balderton, I was very nervous about sending him to nursery and looked around all of the nurseries in Newark and as soon as I looked around Serendipitys, I knew it was the one for us. The staff were all so friendly and the management
was really knowledgeable. They accommodated extra settling-in sessions for us to help him and me to get to know the nursery and settle him in.
He formed bonds with the staff in the baby room really quickly and now loves going in. He has come on so much since starting nursery, his speech, confidence and social skills have all developed so much. He loves going to the lake and playing outside and it's great to see what he has been up to each day.
The nursery has also always been so flexible and as we don't have family nearby, this has been so helpful and I can't thank them enough.
