Children 1st Toton Nursery School

The staff have been so supportive of myself and my daughter whilst going through some health issues this year. The manager rang to see how my daughter was the day after she had a medical procedure. Her keyworker has been great, keeping me and the staff up to date on any changes or concerns. I feel the communication throughout the nursery is fantastic, all staff are fully aware of my daughter's condition. My daughter is very happy and content going to this nursery, would highly recommend it.

I've had 2 children attending the nursery and they both really enjoyed it. Its staff is very friendly, always listens to us (i.e. in terms of nap times or nap length etc) and the teaching in the older groups is really good too. The baby unit is so lovely and I like how there are covered outdoor spaces so whatever the weather, the kids can go out.

My three-and-a-half-year-old son has thrived beautifully under the care of the nursery's dedicated staff. I'm constantly amazed at the new skills he's picking up and it's clear that the team is not only attentive but also highly skilled in fostering individual growth. Their hands-on approach has been instrumental in helping him navigate challenges and celebrate achievements. I'm genuinely grateful for the nurturing environment they've created. Highly recommended!

Lovely preschool, the staff plan some wonderful activities for the children such as making post boxes and baking bread and even gave him a lovely welcome booklet. My son seems very happy attending Children 1st Toton.

We have been taking our girls here since September 2023 and have experienced no issues. The staff are supportive, the space for the children and the activities are perfect for them, they have a range of foods and always explain clearly about their day.

My daughter loves the nursery and the staff, they are so loving and caring towards her. It makes me so happy to be at work knowing she is so well looked after with people she trusts. She learns new things everyday and comes home super happy, thank you to the Bobtails room.

Absolutely love everything about this nursery! I feel confident and happy my child is being cared for while having lots of fun learning and playing with his friends! The staff are all brilliant! My boy loves his days at nursery!

The staff are outstanding. So organised, friendly. Our child has come a long way already, after just being there three months. His speech, numbers and colours. No matter what day we go in, we are always welcomed.

My daughter absolutely loves nursery and the team within! She has developed in leaps and bounds! Nothing is ever too much of an ask and they go above and beyond daily! We cannot thank them enough for their continued support.

The nursery is simply amazing. They show true care for all children. My eldest started at the bungalow at one year old and stayed until she started school this September. And now my youngest is in the bungalow. Both girls love/loved nursery and wanted to go every day of the week. It makes going to work a little easier knowing the girls are with people who care and know them inside out. I can't thank the staff enough or recommend them enough.

The staff are lovely and make my daughter feel welcome every session. They communicate well and inform us of everything that happens. I like the observations that we receive and this helps me understand what she does each day.

I cannot recommend Children 1st highly enough, my son goes to the one on Banks Road in Toton. He comes home happy, clean and always looks like he has had the best day. I find the nursery attentive, understanding and very caring towards my son, perfect when you find it hard to leave them anyway. They have been super supportive with his potty training, which mirrored what we were doing at home with him, resulting in a quick transition from nappies to pants at just 2 years old. He eats well and is always learning and having fun with his friends. He has been at this nursery since he was 10 months old and he is now 28 months.

Best nursery I have ever experienced, I wish I had sent my first two. The standard is exemplary in every single way. I’ve never once had even the slightest issue with anything. The staff are always so helpful and supportive and always have a smile on their face. I can’t recommend this nursery enough.

Children 1st @ Toton has been absolutely outstanding in their care of my children, their communication, support, organisation, delicious food, activities and provision for the children and so much more. We are always met with a smile and greeting, and the kids are constantly asking 'is today a nursery day?' because they love it so much.

Fantastic level of care provided to the children in all age groups. My daughter has attended for the last two years and has made some wonderful friendships with many of the ladies, not just her own key workers. All the staff make you feel very welcome and communication is fantastic. Can't fault this nursery, we have been very well looked after. Special mention to my daughter's key workers in the Peter Rabbits' room.

Absolutely fantastic nursery! Staff are all so friendly and are excellent at their job. I feel really confident leaving my children here knowing they are safe and cared for by the best staff who clearly love working with the children. I'm really sad that one of my boys will be leaving here to go to school soon as the staff in the pre-school room are so nurturing and friendly - I really couldn't ask for a better place to send my sons. The graduation performance was so well organised and was such a lovely event so thank you to the staff for organising this! Honestly, you do not get this experience everywhere! Do not hesitate if you are thinking of sending your children here!

You couldn’t wish for a better nursery for your child! My little boy has been going here since he was 2 and has been in a few different rooms during his time there and each one has been just amazing. The staff are exceptional, caring for the kids so well and being so kind and fun for them. Special shoutouts to two members of staff who our son has just adored his time with, and another member of staff who runs the early years team so well and works so hard. The management team are also brilliant, nothing is ever too much trouble. Just a five-star nursery all over!

We’ve had children at Children 1st @ Toton Day Nursery for five years now and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. We’ve been beyond happy with every stage of nursery, from the baby room up to early years. The staff are honestly amazing and both my little ones have loved it. My youngest is due to leave this summer and we’ll be sad to leave the nursery. The staff go above and beyond for the children and have made their first steps in education a fun and memorable experience. 5/5!

We have had such a positive experience with this nursery. My daughter is in the baby room and the staff have made us all feel so welcome. Everyone is just so friendly and happy! My daughter settled in really quickly and I love seeing pictures and videos of her smiling and babbling away. I know she is well looked after and I feel comfortable leaving her there. We had a look at a number of nurseries before deciding on this one and it really was the best decision we made.
