Windermere Day Nursery (Kettering)

All staff are welcoming every day and work together with the parent for any need.

I am very happy with the nursery and the activities they do with the children. My little one has improved a lot since she joined the nursery. The staff are lovely to the children and caring.

Our daughter is always extremely happy to come to nursery and really enjoys her time at Windermere. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. We feel that our daughter is very well supported in her learning and has lots of opportunities to take part in many amazing activities. The staff show a good understanding of our daughter's needs and care routines and support her really well with these.

Overall it has been a good experience.

Our youngest really struggled with separation and would cry when being dropped off and collected. After just a few short weeks he started practically jumping out of my arms to get to the staff. The physical and mental development that the nursery provides is clear to see in the children and their social skills are just wonderful.

There are not enough words to express how much we love and how impressed we have been since our daughter started at Windemere Nursery. She initially found going to nursery a little tricky and the staff went above and beyond to settle her. She now goes into nursery happily every day and absolutely loves it when she is there. From the wonderful staff, tasty meals, exciting activities and overall outstanding care they offer to both parents and children we could not recommend this nursery more! Having our daughter at Windemere has definitely helped with my return to work and we will forever be grateful for everything they have done.

Really happy with the ladies in the Caterpillar Room. My child going to nursery. I know that they take good care of him and always give him a great day! He also loves the food and has been known to go back for second helpings.

The staff are very friendly and caring. Our child is very happy at the nursery and we are confident that he is safe and being taken care of.

The nursery can benefit from an indoor playground (soft play) that children from Bumblebees and above can use it in turns to improve their motoring skills. This area can be built at the bottom of preschool 1 outdoor play area next to caterpillar garden.

We have been kept informed of our child’s progress, daily eating habits, and any developmental milestones with advice for things to try at home. We feel safe and happy to drop him off in the mornings, knowing he is well looked after.

We have been here for approx eight years (with a small break) with both of our children and will miss everyone so much. Both children have learnt so much and been given the best start in life. Second child has had speech difficulties, but Windermere has been brilliant. Two referrals were rejected for speech and language; however, the staff still worked hard in helping him. The facilitates are amazing, and both children have been so happy coming here to the point of them not wanting to leave at the end of the day. We can't thank you enough.

Truly amazing nursery, truly amazing staff and so many staff that are practically part of the furniture, when staff are treated well it reflects in the effort and passion they pass onto the children excellent environment all around for staff and children.

In the last month, my son has been developing his walking skills which have been encouraged amazingly by the ladybird room. He has been encouraged to walk between staff until his confidence grew enough to walk on his own.

They do lots of learning activities and they spend a lot of time out in the garden area doing activities. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

Our daughter has settled in so well at this nursery. The organisation is extremely well run which gives us a lot of comfort. We have been so impressed with the nursery policies in areas such as safety, nutrition and child development. The staff are fabulous and they work really hard to create a fun, healthy and stimulating environment.

My little boy started at Windermere after being at another nursery previously and he has come on leaps and bounds. He now loves going to nursery and is always asking if today is a nursery day. All the staff there greet him as we walk in and out every time and everyone working there is very caring and polite. Couldn't recommend them more.

Since our daughter started at the nursery at the beginning of this month, we have been really happy with the care and support that she has received. The staff have all been very kind and loving towards her which has been wonderful and greatly appreciated by us as parents. Our little girl has been enjoying lots of her meals, trying out new flavours and tastes. She has enjoyed playing with the other children and with all the different variety of toys. The photo board and her family book are a great idea to make her feel more at home. Thank you!

My son was with Windermere Nursery from 11 months old to pre-school. He got amazing support from all the staff members at Windermere. The nursery was always open, also during the Covid period. All the staff members took good care of my son who had a speech delay and helped with his speech and overall development. I would recommend this nursery to all my friends.

It has been a great experience taking both our children to Windermere Day Nursery. The staff were very supportive and caring and my kids enjoyed every day of nursery. My oldest child is just starting school this September and he has learned and developed so much over the time he has attended Windermere. I'm sure he will miss all the staff here.

A wonderful nursery with fantastic staff. Always willing to help to make your child feel at ease. My son was very shy and quiet when he started and by the end of his time in pre-school, he's now a confident and happy boy. He now looks forward to his pre-school sessions! Amazing graduation party - how thoughtful!
