Little Houghton Day Nursery is in the charming village of Little Houghton in an old-school building that boasts high ceilings and a rich history. The three light-filled rooms are carefully designed with age-appropriate resources to engage children's curiosity and encourage their natural love of learning. The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

Babies start in their own room, with a mixture of child-led and structured activities tailored to each individual child's needs. Toddlers can explore a variety of learning experiences, such as sand and water play, imaginative play and sensory activities, in a safe and nurturing environment. Pre-School children are encouraged to discover their own interests and talents through a range of activities, including arts and crafts, construction and role play. The team also work closely with local primary schools to help prepare children for their transition to school.

Outdoor play and exploration is encouraged across the nursery daily, with walks in the local village and a garden space for children to enjoy.

At Little Houghton Day Nursery, the team aim to create a calm and natural learning space where children can flourish and discover their full potential.

The staff are great with my son and he loves coming here, he has learnt so much through different styles and is always telling us about his nursery. He even went to a holiday club recently and said he didn't like it as it wasn't his nursery.

Both my sons attend Little Houghton and I couldn't be happier. The staff are friendly and it shows how happy the children are. The quality of teaching is very high which again shows in the development of all the children. I would always recommend.

Absolutely perfect nursery. My daughter has been attending since November and she has come on leaps and bounds with learning, speech, development, understanding and communication in more ways than one. Staff are brilliant, fun and really lovely. We love coming here.

My daughter has only recently started attending nursery here but already she comments on the friends she has made and how lovely it is. She really looks forward to the days she comes here, which as a parent is excellent. The staff always greet me and my daughter with big smiles.

All 3 of my girls have been or are still coming to LHDN from the baby room to preschool room, all the staff are amazing, they pay so much attention to the children and provide a detailed update of what the kids have been up to during the day. I have no worries of my children while they are at nursery
and they always greet me with a smile when they are picked up. This has been one of the best decisions I have made as my children are caring, considerate and well mannered and LHDN is a big contributor to that.

The best place for my child! after moving her from a different setting they made her feel welcome. She was a shy child who became a confident little girl, with the staff's help and guidance she has blossomed. I have much praise for the staff and the amazing job they do.

Little Houghton Day Nursery is a wonderful nursery. Our daughter has been very happy and flourished at this nursery. My daughter loves this nursery. She does lots of activities during the day and cannot wait to tell me. The food is great and provides her with a well-balanced diet. They look after her and she is happy which is all you can ask for. Brilliant nursery! Thank you.

My son has attended the nursery for 3 and a half years and has always been really happy here. All the staff know him and make him very welcome. They clearly care a lot about the children and create a friendly, bubbly atmosphere. They've also helped my daughter settle well into the baby room and take
