Little Houghton Day Nursery

Both our children have been here for 2+ years and they love it. Never had any issues and highly recommended.

The best place for my child! after moving her from a different setting they made her feel welcome. She was a shy child who became a confident little girl, with the staff's help and guidance she has blossomed. I have much praise for the staff and the amazing job they do.

All 3 of my girls have been or are still coming to LHDN from the baby room to preschool room, all the staff are amazing, they pay so much attention to the children and provide a detailed update of what the kids have been up to during the day. I have no worries of my children while they are at nursery and they always greet me with a smile when they are picked up. This has been one of the best decisions I have made as my children are caring, considerate and well mannered and LHDN is a big contributor to that.

Such a wonderful and welcoming nursery. My daughter has settled in amazingly and absolutely loves her days spent here! After swapping her nurseries from a previous establishment I've noticed she's a lot calmer and patient in her personality now. Would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

From the moment I set foot in the nursery, I knew that it was the place that I was going to send my son to. Friends send their little ones here too and I have found it to be a fantastically nurturing environment.

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they keep you fully informed of your child's progress and celebrate the milestones with you.

I would without hesitation recommend this nursery to any friends or family looking for somewhere for their child.

Our son has been coming to Little Houghton Day Nursery for 7 months now and we couldn't be happier. Our son loves it here, the girls are so welcoming and good with him. Couldn't ask for a better nursery. Thank you for all you do.

My child has been attending Little Houghton Day Nursery for 2 years and I am so happy with how well he has settled and the relationships the staff have built with him. His current key worker is excellent and has really taken the time to get to know and understand him. I feel confident that the is being well looked after, in a safe environment where his development and learning and progressing well. In short; this is a fantastic nursery.

My 18 month old is in the baby room and has been since she was 9 months old. The staff at Little Houghton Day Nursery are absolutely amazing. We can't praise them enough for everything they do. Our daughter loves nursery and has learnt so much. She's coming on leaps and bounds! Thank you!

When I first used to drop my little boy off at nursery, he used to get upset but with help from the girls at Little Houghton, especially one girl in particular, he settled in very quickly. The daily activities, meals and toys they are provided with at this nursery is amazing! I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

My child's key carer is fantastic with my son. It's the girls that make the room.

I was very apprehensive about sending my son to nursery, but that soon dissapeared as soon as we walked in. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, my son loves it here. He's relaxed and enjoys all his meals. I love the chat with the staff at the end of the day too, who always take their time with us to tell us what our son has been up to. Our son has really settled into little Houghton nursery and we're so glad we found this little gem.

Lovely nursery in a lovely setting. Outside space isn't massive but they use it really well and children are regularly taken on walks and to the park.

The frequency of staff changes and management is my only gripe but this seems common across nurseries - I would say though that there are a core of staff who have remained who are all brilliant and I feel I can talk to them and they really care and want to please.

I have found this nursery to be caring and nurturing for our children. Staff always say hello to our children when they arrive and always look happy to see them. The staff are enthusiastic and full of energy and are caring. This nursery really does care about the children they look after. This includes the managers as well as the nursery nurses and assistants.

All staff are a credit and an asset to the nursery. In the Ducks room, which my daughter is a member of, the team are extremely talented, dedicated and hardworking individuals, expertly guided by the room leader. I couldn't speak highly enough of this fantastic community.

I couldn't recommend this nursery more highly!

Both my daughters go to this nursery and love it. My eldest will often ask at the weekends if it's a nursery day and is very disappointed if we tell her that it's not! We have no worries whatsoever dropping them off each day they attend and we love hearing all about the fun they have had at the end of the day.

Nothing is too much trouble at Little Houghton Day Nursery. My 2 children love it here. Both settled in well to a routine at the nursery. They have made lots of friends and have lots of fun whilst learning too.
