My little boy has been at the nursery for over 3 years now and has really grown in confidence during this time. He loves going to nursery and even asks me not to pick him up too early so he can stay longer and play with his friends. The staff are ll so lovely and seem to really care about the children. Every day they think of new activities, but also allow the children to free play if they want to. Little Houghton is like a second family and we will be sending our second child there next year.

Since my child has started the bears room, she has made some really god connections with her key person and the other staff. Her key person always listens to any concerns I may have and resolves them. The morning handovers always go smoothly as my child can not wait to play and learn. My child's eating can be off at times but they all try to encourage her to eat in different ways and she has eaten new items of food (great job). The manager is easy to approach and is happy to hear any concerns you have. My child is very happy being at Little Houghton Day Nursery and thank all the staff that take care of my child.

The staff are always so caring for my daughter. She loves nursery and always feel safe there. Always lots of lovely activities for the children to do every day!

The staff are amazing, always caring for my autistic son and trying to involve him in every activity. I can see some improvements in my son since he is attending the nursery.

My son loves coming to nursery, he has made good friends and he loves all the staff. The staff are always very informative of my sons day giving feedback every evening. There is always a wide range of activities on offer and they use the village to their advantage, visiting the park and scout field. The chef always makes delicious meals that my son enjoys and there is always a great variety. We can't highlight enough how much we love the nursery.

On the odd occasion I have collected my grandson from nursery, the staff have been very good at giving feedback on his day. There always seems to be lots of activities out for the children which they enjoy. The variety of food on the menu is fantastic, most of which my grandson will only eat if its "made like a staff members". Overall the nursery is great and I would definitely recommend to other families.

We are currently sending our third child to Little Houghton Nursery. The fact that we have been using the nursery since 2013 to present shows how much we regard it. Our children have all enjoyed their time here and the satff have always been excellent. Whilst it is part of a larger nursery brand it still retains that close village locality and feel.

As a previous early years practitioner, I always knew I would only want the best for my child when it came to a nursery placement. Little Houghton is just that the best! My child always loves going to nursery, and now, we are able to chat about all the activities she's done. Adult led activities are thought provoking and develop the children's areas of development, as well as free play and child led resources and invitations, always providing excellent quality learning opportunities. The staff are friendly, welcoming and take the time to create good relationships with children and families. The food provided is also outstanding!

My son has attended LHDN since he was 15 months and has always enjoyed his time there. The staff are great and caring. If we have had any problems they have always been addressed straight away. My son has learnt a lot since being at LHDN and the activities are always age appropriate, exciting and engaging. We will be sad when he has to leave to attend school. I have put cleanliness as satisfactory, not down to the staff cleaning the toys etc but due to the cleanliness of the building from external cleaning staff, this could be much better.

Our experience of this nursery has been fantastic, made possible by the excellent team of staff. The care provided is exceptional and the learning and development our son is showing is down to them. While the layout of the site limits what can be done with their outside space this doesn't restrict time spent outside with some indigenous activities! Communication and help from the team has always been superb, in all 3 rooms. I'd have no hesitation recommending this nursery. Thank you.

The staff are simply amazing, the ladies in the pre-school room are very professional, have the children's best interests at heart, I have seen my son thrive as a child and has confidently grown to be independent and confident in his social interactions and his learning. Thank you to everyone.

I am always so impressed with this nursery. I know that every child's needs are always catered for & the kids are looked after so well. The activities are always so well thought-out and vary through the week. There's a focus on development & I can see they're trying to get my son ready for his transition to school in September. The menu is great & the children are fed really well. I always like how much they encourage independence, The pre-preschoolers collect their plates & cutlery & water. I would recommend this nursery to anyone, the staff are so lovely.

My son moved nurseries so has been at Little Houghton for 6 months now. The staff have been amazing at helping him to settle in. I love how they keep building their independence at meal times with putting plates away etc & helping themselves to water. Always kept up to date with what he'es done in the day & good feedback given

Initially, my son was upset about attending nursery, leaving his mum and dad would bring tears. Over the months and years the staff have helped him and now he never wants to leave. He's made some great friends at nursery. It's going to be tough when he goes to "Big school"

The staff are warm & welcoming. My daughter feels safe and happy within the environment. Speech has developed and confidence has grown since attending. The app is a great help & insight into daily activities. All staff are approachable and there if you have any concerns or need support with anything.

Fantastic place for my little on. All practitioners are very friendly and happy to answer your questions. Lovely activities every day. I couldn't imagine better place for my son. Really grateful for looking after my boy. You all doing great job. Good communications, posting pictures via the app. All concerns always discussed. Thank you! Our son has been coming to the nursery for just over a year and we have seen his confidence and personality develop so much! He often talks about all the staff when at home and always looks forward to going in to nursery. He loves going for walks around the village and his trips to the park! The activities they provide are well thought out and engaging and he always has lots to talk about when we pick him up. The Friday Teddy tennis club is such a nice touch, he loves showing us his stickers. The communication on the app is great and honestly can't fault anything! Would definitely recommend!

My child absolutely loves the nursery and staff. He is always so happy to see them and they are always so happy to see him. It can be scary leaving your child with people outside of direct family for the but so reassuring when they are clearly so happy when they see each other .

The most wonderful nursery! I've been a parent of children who have attended this nursery since 2017. So a very long time now, and I have seen huge significant changes in that timespan but the one thing that always remains the most is the loving family orientated approach all staff members have with the children and also us parents/caregivers. All the staff work tirelessly to give all the children under their care the best possible start in life and all the love and dedication. My children certainly have thrived and are thriving, and it's all down to their early years experience which this nursery does extremely well. My son who started in September was my one child who struggled the most and I was so close to pulling him out as I didn't think he'd ever settle, but the manager and staff spent a lot of time reassuring me and telling me he would, some children just take that bit longer to settle in. All staff there are absolutely fantastic! Trust them implicitly! Just love them all!
