The Old Station Nursery Harpole

Our little boy loves going to nursery, he has settled well into his big boy class and seems very happy.

We have been very pleased with Harpole Day Nursery and both of our daughters have attended over the years. Our daughter who currently at the nursery really enjoys it and has made excellent progress in all areas of her development.

Very friendly staff, excellent care of the children. The menu is very good and healthy.

My child is extremely happy here, she has made lots of friends and sees all the staff as friends too. She is well looked after and I feel the staff really care for each child. My child enjoys her days at nursery, she always has lots to tell me about her fun day and the lovely food she has had for lunch.

I like how my child is settling in. Her vocabulary has come on well and she is less clingy than when she first joined.

My daughter has been coming here for over a year and has excelled in every aspect. She is not yet 4 but can count past 20 and can write almost all of her letters. The staff are always friendly and considerate. My daughter has made so many friends which has helped her confidence and independence skills. I am very happy I moved her here and will be sad to leave in September.

Harpole has been a fantastic experience for our daughter, she has grown in confidence, her speech has come along fantastically. The staff are very friendly and helpful, always having words of encouragement for both child and parent alike. I would highly recommend Harpole to any parent. We will be very sad to leave the nursery.

Friendly, welcoming staff help my daughter to feel safe and well looked after. Pre-prepared activities ready for them to explore. Staff get down at eye level with them and are engaging. Daily handover sheet tells me what my daughter has been doing and records what she has eaten and toileting comments.

Only negative - tea isn't a main meal - it is a snack. Daughter still needs feeding when she comes home from nursery.

My son loves his time at the nursery. The staff are very friendly.

My daughter has attended Harpole Day Nursery for over a year now and loves it. She adores the staff and has made some lovely friends among the children. She loves to play outside and there is a lovely secret garden where she loves playing and getting dirty. It is a small nursery and the staff adore the children and the feeling is mutual.

My son only stays at the nursery for 1 day a week, so it took him a while to settle, but the nursery took their time to ensure my son felt safe and comfortable away from home. He loves his key worker and says her name whenever we talk about nursery. After every session, we receive a progress sheet detailing his food, naps, nappies and activities throughout the day, which is always explained to me when I pick up my son. We are really happy with the nursery and my son loves it.

My daughter loves attending nursery. The staff are brilliant and take such good care of all the children. Great outdoor space which the children use all the time, which my daughter really enjoys.

We feel totally at ease dropping her off knowing she will have such a great time.

Our son has been at this nursery now for about 6 months and we love it. The staff are so friendly and enthusiastic with the children. He always comes home with lots of stories about what he has been up to that day from painting, helping make dessert for tea time and playing outside in the mud garden. We are also really impressed with the freshly cooked meals he receives and the variety of menus each week. We really cannot say enough good things about this nursery and feel safe dropping him off every day that he will be looked after so well.

I have no issues with any part of the nursery. All the children seem happy and content. Staff are very friendly and they all seem to love their jobs. The children are well behaved and enjoy the various activities they do.

This is a very friendly and professional service, my boys have thrived here and their development reflects all the hard work done by the staff. The facility is excellent, clean, well equipped and safe for all the children.

My son has been attending Harpole Day Nursery for nearly 1 year and is now off to school. Harpole have been fantastic for the whole of his duration there and they have always made me feel welcome and part of the team. My son loves the time he spends with them and enjoys all the food and activities they provide. They have helped him come on leaps and bounds with reading and writing and doing practical chores for himself, his confidence has grown tremendously. I just wanted to say if your looking for a nursery you should really consider them if you want a small, friendly, family atmosphere for your child.
