Harpole Day Nursery is a warm and nurturing village nursery that delivers high-quality childcare in a close-knit setting. Providing care for up to 34 children per day, the nursery’s smaller size ensures that plenty of opportunities are provided for each child to grow and develop to their fullest potential.

The rooms inside are carefully designed with age-appropriate resources, offering a safe and stimulating environment for every child’s development. Babies start in their own room where they are encouraged to explore and learn about their environment. With a mixture of child-led and structured activities and the support of their Key Carer, every baby is given the best start in life.

Once slightly older, children progress to the toddlers' room, which offers a variety of learning experiences such as imaginary and sensory play. The secure garden area provides free-flow access, allowing children to enjoy plenty of outdoor activities and keep active during the day.

Pre-Schoolers engage in activities such as arts and crafts, construction and role-play. They spend time outside, planting vegetables and using the loose part props in the garden space. With the support of the team, children are prepared within every stage of learning in preparation for the transition to school. The nursery also has strong links with local primary schools to ensure the process is as smooth as possible.

The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

We’ve always been happy with our nursery from the baby room to the toddler room. Our little one progresses so well and learns so much from all the staff there. Communication with all the nursery heads is always good and we’ve had no issues there. The staff work tirelessly and we are ever so thankful!

This nursery is such a nurturing setting, they seem to go above and beyond for my grandchild, they have accommodated her needs as she may be on the spectrum and is currently having problems with her anxiety, they have been so patient, understanding, and very involved in her plan, they have facilitated
an educational psychologist going in to observe my grandchild. Anything I have asked of them, they have never refused and if she had dietary requirements they jumped straight to it. I am so impressed and grateful. Thank you so much ladies you are all wonderful and the the manager is especially helpful and puts things in place to settle and help the development of my grandchild. What I also love is that they have an in-house cook who makes homemade nutritious and expansive food choices, which helps a young child explore different food groups. Love it.

The nursery is so lovely at genuinely caring and supporting both my children. They really understand them and their preferences and go out of their way to look after all of us! Parents included! The food and activities are fab.

Can’t recommend Harpole Day Nursery enough, my little boy has come on leaps and bounds since being there, I’m always at ease leaving him there, as I know he is well looked after, the nursery has a great team throughout, and it’s lovely that all staff get to know all the children, I will be sad when
my son leaves to start school, but know they have given him a great start in his educational journey

Our daughter moved to Harpole Day Nursery from another nursery and we could not have been happier with the move. The staff are friendly and have made our little one feel very welcome. She loves going and at each pickup asks when she can go again!
The staff provide fun and educational activities with
clear links to early years foundation stage framework. The walks around the village and to see the animals in nearby fields are of particular enjoyment.
As parents, we have appreciated the clear communication from staff and via the app.

A lovely home from home for my daughter to thrive and socialise. Communication about her day to day activities and wellbeing is always forthcoming via the app or on pick up. She eats better at nursery amongst her peers than at home. She has learnt so much from the practitioners and brings home some
sayings and routines. She knows most of their names and has made some lovely bonds with friends and leaders alike. Boogie Beats is a firm fave. She rewards us with a sticker for a "Good Job" too. Thanks to the team at Harpole Day Nursery for everything.

Both of my children attend Harpole now. Its a lovely small setting which allows the staff to focus on a small number of children.
My son has thrived since starting a couple of years ago and is now enjoying preschool which is really preparing him for school next year!
My daughter is in the baby room
and is always happy to be dropped off. Communication via the app is great and the staff are always enthusiastic and engaged on pick up.
There are a range of activities each week and my son in particular enjoys Boogie Beats and the secret garden.
There have been quite a few staff changes and my son has struggled with a few of these, but on the other hand there are staff which have been there for years, so I think its just one of those things.
Its great to see some recent investment in the nursery, I hope this continues during my daughters time there.

My daughter likes going to Harpole Nursery and always asks whether she'll be going in every day.
The nursery is really lovely so I am glad that I chose this over others. One of the main reasons was the time and dedication the staff gave to each student and also how friendly they were to us parents.
The food menu is great as I really wanted my daughter to have a variety of freshly cooked meals which saved me a lot of time instead of going elsewhere to do pack lunches.
She loves climbing in the secret garden and loves playing outdoors. She learns so much at nursery that she comes home speaking more each day. The app allows us parents to know what our children ate and also what they did so I really like this aspect. The staff are wonderful and explains at the end of each day what they've done and how they got on.
Will be taking my youngest there as well later on. Highly recommended.

My son thoroughly enjoys the nursery. I feel at ease leaving my son there and I think the staff are brilliant. They always update me on anything I need to know about my son. The app is great, knowing what he’s eaten, his nappy changes and how much he has slept.

My little boy settled into Harpole Day Nursery really well and has really good relationships with all the members of staff in the toddler room.
My son's speech and understanding has come on a lot since joining the nursery and he is always so happy to be there.
Feedback at the end of the session
is always great and in detail which leaves me happy knowing what he has been up to! Highly recommend!

Little one loves nursery and happily walks in every day without looking back. Days are full with lots of learning, activities and outdoor play, alongside a really varied food menu catering for allergies too which is amazing. Staff are all really friendly, helpful and informative. It's great to know
they are in such good hands.

All 3 of my children have enjoyed their time at Harpole. As they have progressed, their needs have been met and they have all blossomed. The youngest 2 are still at Harpole. It really is a home from home caring setting, which still stretches the children and piques their interest. Communication on drop
off and pick up is excellent, I don’t feel like I have missed any part of their days. They are also really supportive of our family and what we are trying to achieve as a unit. Thanks!

My daughter has settled very well at Harpole Day Nursery after finding it difficult to settle elsewhere. The staff are lovely, know the children very well and they take time to talk to parents at pick up. The activities always seem appropriate for the age group and the individual feedback on the app

I cannot praise Harpole Day Nursery enough. Absolutely superb. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional to both the parents and even more so to your child. They build such a fantastic bond so quickly and it’s near enough instantly your little one just loves it there. Daily activity reports
show what your little one has been up to and also show a real variance in activities as well as the nursery developing your child’s key skills. The menu is fantastic as well, a real range of tasty meals daily. Again superb, wouldn’t want to send my little girl anywhere else now.
