Harpole Day Nursery is a warm and nurturing village nursery that delivers high-quality childcare in a close-knit setting. Providing care for up to 34 children per day, the nursery’s smaller size ensures that plenty of opportunities are provided for each child to grow and develop to their fullest potential.

The rooms inside are carefully designed with age-appropriate resources, offering a safe and stimulating environment for every child’s development. Babies start in their own room where they are encouraged to explore and learn about their environment. With a mixture of child-led and structured activities and the support of their Key Carer, every baby is given the best start in life.

Once slightly older, children progress to the toddlers' room, which offers a variety of learning experiences such as imaginary and sensory play. The secure garden area provides free-flow access, allowing children to enjoy plenty of outdoor activities and keep active during the day.

Pre-Schoolers engage in activities such as arts and crafts, construction and role-play. They spend time outside, planting vegetables and using the loose part props in the garden space. With the support of the team, children are prepared within every stage of learning in preparation for the transition to school. The nursery also has strong links with local primary schools to ensure the process is as smooth as possible.

The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

The nursery has been in our lives for over 5 years (2 kids). We have been super impressed with the care and attention our children have received. They provide a loving and friendly atmosphere. The children always return home happy, and we have never needed to raise any concerns about anything. I would

I have seen my little girl flourish so much since she started in January. It took her a little while to fully settle, but I know she is in safe, caring hands. She has developed a good bond with the staff in her room. I receive updates throughout the day and lovely photos.
The staff follow her needs
well, and I have noticed a big leap in her development. Being an anxious mother, I feel happy knowing how well looked after my daughter is.

My son started in January after being at previous setting and not having a great experience. Management were understanding and caring from the moment I called looking to move my son into the nursery.
He has settled so well and we have seen a genuinely change to his happiness now going to and from nursery.
Staff are all so friendly and it really shows how much they care and want to understand your child. I'm so glad we can send our son here and we fully trust the team to look after him and help him grow into a wonderful young boy. Thanks so much! 100% recommened :)

I feel at ease leaving my little one at nursery, he has settled in very well (started full time in Jan 2025), even if he got sick a lot, unfortunately due to be expected and very common.
I love the app and constant updates, most important for me is that I can see the staff is really caring and really
cares about his wellbeing and happiness.
Thank you so much to two specific members of staff especially.
Also food options are great and they get offered fresh and varied food options.
I am now recommending this nursery to a few friends for their little ones.

Our daughter has settled in so well and so quickly thanks to the lovely care workers. The process was stress-free thanks to the manager. The staff are all so friendly, welcoming and caring. The best nursery! Both of my kids love(d) going there. They develop so well in there in all aspects - being independent, potty training, good eating habits, basic phonics, numbers, etc. But what the nursery has been consistently great at during those couple of years, is teaching kids kindness. They

Both of my children have progressed so much since starting Harpole Day Nursery. They have developed great relationships with their key workers which gives me peace of mind when returning to work! I love the regular updates via the app and see what they get up to. It's lovely to see how they are progressing.
Both of my children also have dairy allergies and the way they manage this and provide alternatives has been great!

I cannot fault anything at the nursery, all members of staff are polite and caring, they know all of the children and treat them well. The food they have is amazing and nutritious, I think my son eats better there than he does at home! Knowing my son looks forward to and enjoys nursery has helped calm
all my anxieties about him being in someone else’s care. The app they have to input how your child’s day is going is also updated regularly and again, is a nice way to be able to check how my son is doing. If there are any issues, they call me straight away and are always informative. They stick to the routine that we ask them to and are very adaptable if it changes day to day, depending on how my son is feeling or how well he slept the night before. Nothing is too much to ask from the staff and they are always happy to help. I will be recommending this nursery to all of my friends.

My child has been attending Harpole Day Nursery since November 2021 and my second child will also be starting in November 2024. I can’t recommend this nursery enough, the staff genuinely care for the children, the rooms and outside space are brilliant and the range of food they provide is great.
I
believe my child has really excelled through attending the nursery and I couldn’t be happier with the support he has received there.
