Harpole Day Nursery is a warm and nurturing village nursery that delivers high-quality childcare in a close-knit setting. Providing care for up to 34 children per day, the nursery’s smaller size ensures that plenty of opportunities are provided for each child to grow and develop to their fullest potential.

The rooms inside are carefully designed with age-appropriate resources, offering a safe and stimulating environment for every child’s development. Babies start in their own room where they are encouraged to explore and learn about their environment. With a mixture of child-led and structured activities and the support of their Key Carer, every baby is given the best start in life.

Once slightly older, children progress to the toddlers' room, which offers a variety of learning experiences such as imaginary and sensory play. The secure garden area provides free-flow access, allowing children to enjoy plenty of outdoor activities and keep active during the day.

Pre-Schoolers engage in activities such as arts and crafts, construction and role-play. They spend time outside, planting vegetables and using the loose part props in the garden space. With the support of the team, children are prepared within every stage of learning in preparation for the transition to school. The nursery also has strong links with local primary schools to ensure the process is as smooth as possible.

The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

My son has been going to Harpole Day Nursery for 2 years now and he absolutely loves it. Lovely staff work here and are very helpful. Definitely will get my daughter here too when she is ready! Definitely recommend, a lovely place for the little one to be :)

My little girl loves Harpole Day Nursery. Each morning when I drop her off, she runs off excited to meet her friends. Her counting and colours for a two-year-old are fantastic thanks to the games they play. The food is also great. She eats seconds every day!

Harpole Day Nursery has done a fantastic job at preparing my 4-year-old for school. My daughter had a good interest in books and learning to count and Harpole Day Nursery have encouraged this. She can now spell basic words like dog and cat so she is more than prepared for school so we're very pleased.
She loves the teachers here! She eats much more here than at home which is down to the quality of cooking and eating with others. We would highly recommend Harpole Day Nursery.

The staff are always friendly and give a detailed account of the day's activities. Food is served by the child (age appropriate) which our daughter loves and allows her to choose what she likes. Our daughter loves the secret garden and is always covered in the evidence.

Harpole Day Nursery is a lovely nursery, our son has been coming since he was 9 months and now is 2 1/2 years old. He has learnt so much from crawling to walking, learning words, shapes and numbers to now talking in sentences. The staff at the nursery are always welcoming with smiles and friendly. We
can always see that our son has had a great day when we collect him.

We are thrilled to have found and chosen Harpole Nursery for our miracle baby daughter.


I believe excellent staff are the most important part a nursery can provide to a baby/child and this is one of the reasons why I chose Harpole.


As a mummy, I always ensure I display smiles, laughter, a happy

cheery environment and affection to my daughter at all times and the staff here certainly do too. The food/menu is also second to none and fresh home cooked food is important to me!

My boys have been at the nursery over the past 5 years. I have never had any problems with the nursery and when I have raised the odd concern (in particular with regards to staff turnover) actions were put in place to update parents on staff changes and staff turnover massively reduced.


I am very

happy with the nursery and will be sad when my youngest leaves next year. I have recommended the nursery on numerous occasions and all friends have had positive experiences too.

Fabulous nursery with fantastic caring friendly staff. My two girls have been here nearly a year and they love it. Activities, smiles and hugs from start to finish. The secret garden is a big hit!!
