The Old Station Nursery Harpole

My daughter has settled very well at Harpole Day Nursery after finding it difficult to settle elsewhere. The staff are lovely, know the children very well and they take time to talk to parents at pick up. The activities always seem appropriate for the age group and the individual feedback on the app is great.

I cannot praise Harpole Day Nursery enough. Absolutely superb. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional to both the parents and even more so to your child. They build such a fantastic bond so quickly and it’s near enough instantly your little one just loves it there. Daily activity reports show what your little one has been up to and also show a real variance in activities as well as the nursery developing your child’s key skills. The menu is fantastic as well, a real range of tasty meals daily. Again superb, wouldn’t want to send my little girl anywhere else now.

We have nothing but praise for Harpole Day Nursery. Our daughter loves attending and looks forward to each day. The staff are fantastic, engaging and so enthusiastic and the progress our daughter makes is fantastic - would highly recommend!

A well run and organised nursery, my son settled in very quickly and with rarely any tears, he always enjoys going to nursery and looks forward to the days he attends which as a mother brings me peace of mind. My son suffers with food allergies, so when choosing a nursery and preschool this was high on my list but they have always accommodated and catered for his needs and he always has a well balanced nutritional dinner and snack. I couldn't be more happier and will be so sad to say goodbye to this wonderful nursery when he goes to school in September.

Cannot rate this nursery enough! My little one has been attending since he was 11-months-old. Harpole has accommodated us fantastically with medication and also inhalers/asthma-related problems. Nothing is ever too much to ask, and our little one is so happy there. The staff at Harpole are so enthusiastic, friendly, kind, and fair. When our little one has transitioned between “age rooms” at Harpole, it was done really considerately, and they were given time to settle into their new room. Lastly, the food at Harpole is excellent, they always get a varied diet and lots of yummy home-cooked food. There is a really homely feel about Harpole, every staff member knows each and every child, we are always greeted with a smile and open arms.

Lastly, during Covid, Harpole was absolutely amazing. I could not fault how they have handled the situation, masks are always worn upon picking up and dropping off children, they also have a cleaning machine, so the rooms are kept as clean as possible!

Fantastic nursery, my son attends 2 and a half days and enjoys it. He settled in well, he loves all the staff and has used manners that he has learnt here.

We've loved the experience Harpole Day Nursery has given us, our son has improved so much and continues to do so. We couldn't recommend Harpole Day Nursery enough!

I cannot fault this nursery. My daughter has thrived from the moment she first started. She loves coming to nursery, loves her key workers. Her speech and all round skills are continually developing at a very fast rate encouraged by the nursery. There is a real family sense here which we love. All the children are so happy. The home cooked food is amazing.

Lovely staff, very helpful and polite. Good clean learning areas. Meals are good. My child is developing extremely well. Progression in speaking and daily tasks.

The staff are kind and lovely and the manager is always here if you need to talk.

We love Harpole Day Nursery, I feel completely at ease leaving my little boy here and believe he is well cared for by all staff.

Our child always enjoys his time at nursery. We feel happy and confident leaving him with all the staff as they are so caring and friendly. We would recommend Harpole Nursery and some of our friends use the nursery due to the recommendations. The nursery does a great job preparing our children in order to make the transition to school.

Harpole Day Nursery is a fantastic learning and social environment for our children. Our children are very happy and well looked after. The staff know the children well and tailor tasks to suit their needs. There are lots of new and exciting events and learning opportunities happening which ensure that the children's time stays stimulating and challenging. Really well managed with very capable staff. We're very happy to have Harpole Nursery.

Harpole Day Nursery has consistently provided high-quality care for our daughter. Communication is good and the staff are wonderful for both our needs and our daughters. Most importantly our daughter says she enjoys nursery and mostly looks forward to coming.

Harpole Day Nursery are exceptionally supportive and really do deserve their 'outstanding' Ofsted rating. My daughter thoroughly enjoys the time she spends there and I trust that she is in good hands.

Harpole Day Nursery has been excellent right from the start of our experience. Our daughter seems really comfortable in the surroundings right from the setting in sessions. The staff are all friendly and helpful and our daughter has especially bonded with her key worker.

The facilities always look clean and cared for and the menu is extensive and varied.

Overall, we are extremely satisfied with Harpole Day Nursery and would highly recommend.

Great, caried food which our son wouldn't try at home, he gives it a go and loves it.

The staff are always friendly and give a detailed account of the day's activities. Food is served by the child (age appropriate) which our daughter loves and allows her to choose what she likes. Our daughter loves the secret garden and is always covered in the evidence.

Always feel confident leaving my little girl at Harpole Day Nursery.
