Harpole Day Nursery is a warm and nurturing village nursery that delivers high-quality childcare in a close-knit setting. Providing care for up to 34 children per day, the nursery’s smaller size ensures that plenty of opportunities are provided for each child to grow and develop to their fullest potential.

The rooms inside are carefully designed with age-appropriate resources, offering a safe and stimulating environment for every child’s development. Babies start in their own room where they are encouraged to explore and learn about their environment. With a mixture of child-led and structured activities and the support of their Key Carer, every baby is given the best start in life.

Once slightly older, children progress to the toddlers' room, which offers a variety of learning experiences such as imaginary and sensory play. The secure garden area provides free-flow access, allowing children to enjoy plenty of outdoor activities and keep active during the day.

Pre-Schoolers engage in activities such as arts and crafts, construction and role-play. They spend time outside, planting vegetables and using the loose part props in the garden space. With the support of the team, children are prepared within every stage of learning in preparation for the transition to school. The nursery also has strong links with local primary schools to ensure the process is as smooth as possible.

The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

A well run and organised nursery, my son settled in very quickly and with rarely any tears, he always enjoys going to nursery and looks forward to the days he attends which as a mother brings me peace of mind. My son suffers with food allergies, so when choosing a nursery and preschool this was high
on my list but they have always accommodated and catered for his needs and he always has a well balanced nutritional dinner and snack. I couldn't be more happier and will be so sad to say goodbye to this wonderful nursery when he goes to school in September.

Cannot rate this nursery enough! My little one has been attending since he was 11-months-old. Harpole has accommodated us fantastically with medication and also inhalers/asthma-related problems. Nothing is ever too much to ask, and our little one is so happy there. The staff at Harpole are so enthusiastic,
friendly, kind, and fair. When our little one has transitioned between “age rooms” at Harpole, it was done really considerately, and they were given time to settle into their new room. Lastly, the food at Harpole is excellent, they always get a varied diet and lots of yummy home-cooked food. There is a really homely feel about Harpole, every staff member knows each and every child, we are always greeted with a smile and open arms.


Lastly, during Covid, Harpole was absolutely amazing. I could not fault how they have handled the situation, masks are always worn upon picking up and dropping off children, they also have a cleaning machine, so the rooms are kept as clean as possible!

Since my daughter started nursery she has grown up so much. The staff and facilities are brilliant. Best nursery in Northampton would definitely bring my other child here.
The staff are kind and lovely and the manager is always here if you need to talk.

I cannot fault this nursery. My daughter has thrived from the moment she first started. She loves coming to nursery, loves her key workers. Her speech and all round skills are continually developing at a very fast rate encouraged by the nursery. There is a real family sense here which we love. All the
children are so happy. The home cooked food is amazing.

Harpole Day Nursery is a fantastic learning and social environment for our children. Our children are very happy and well looked after. The staff know the children well and tailor tasks to suit their needs. There are lots of new and exciting events and learning opportunities happening which ensure that
the children's time stays stimulating and challenging. Really well managed with very capable staff. We're very happy to have Harpole Nursery.

Our child always enjoys his time at nursery. We feel happy and confident leaving him with all the staff as they are so caring and friendly. We would recommend Harpole Nursery and some of our friends use the nursery due to the recommendations. The nursery does a great job preparing our children in order

Harpole Day Nursery has been excellent right from the start of our experience. Our daughter seems really comfortable in the surroundings right from the setting in sessions. The staff are all friendly and helpful and our daughter has especially bonded with her key worker.


The facilities always look

clean and cared for and the menu is extensive and varied.


Overall, we are extremely satisfied with Harpole Day Nursery and would highly recommend.

Our child loves attending nursery. He has formed great relationships with other children and all the staff. Everyone is extremely friendly and they take excellent care of our son.

Both our little ones have now gone to Harpole Day Nursery and we love the setting and the great care they provide. The carers make it a real home from home.


The outdoor time is great and the home cooked fresh food is always eaten and loved by both our little ones. Always getting good/bad feedback
