I have been nothing short of absolutely delighted with Acorns. I knew instantly from the moment I walked in with my son at 9 months old that I would feel comfortable leaving him in their care. He started at 17 months old and despite going just once a week has always been happy and excited to spend his days with the team and his friends. He has just had his settling-in session to move to the big room with no problems, a testament to how they are helping to create happy, confident little people who are comfortable in all areas of the nursery. We are currently pregnant with number 2 and I feel confident knowing they will look after this little one just as well as they have with my first. Wonderful nursery with a wonderful ethos.

All round teaching skills are brilliant, children are looked after, they come home very happy sometimes exhausted which is good because they have been playing well. My two children always talk about their day at nursery and the many activities they have been doing. Very happy with Acorn Nursery.

The staff at Burton Latimer are amazing and so caring towards the children. They give you great updates throughout the day and always have different activities set up for your child to take part in. They take great care in ensuring the environment is as safe as possible and really work hard to engage with the parents.

I can highly recommend Acorn nursery. The staff are friendly and approachable and go out of their way to help the children settle and to plan engaging activities which meet their interests. My son has settled in well and all the staff in his room have taken the time to get to know him and to help him adjust, which, alongside building a close relationship with his key worker has really helped. We love how activities are planned to meet the children's interests and how flexible they are and we are kept informed and up to date with all information via the app and a friendly face at drop off or pick up, which makes all the difference!

My child loves his time in nursery, gets really happy about going in the morning. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. We love how they take the time to play and make all the sensory games and listen to us as parents when we have any concerns.

Our son started Acorn Day Nursery in April 2022. Everyone has been brilliant in helping him to settle in and so accommodating to his needs. We are really pleased with his progress. When we pick him up, he’s always smiling and seems to be really happy to be at nursery.

Great nursery. Lots of outdoor play and access to lots of natural resources. The little one has grown in confidence and social skills since joining and has a lovely bond with her key worker. Always lots of activities for them to get engaged in that encourage imagination and follow the child’s interests.

Acorn Day Nursery (Burton Latimer) is fantastic, with my son being born right at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic he was extremely shy and would not leave my side. After attending the nursery for one day a week, he is now such an outgoing confident child. The staff have worked extremely hard to get to know my son and encourage him to get involved with the many varieties of activities they set up. Along with the huge selection of toys on offer, the activities are fantastic. The main aspect of the nursery I feel has benefited my son tremendously is the assignment of a key worker. This means that he gets to develop a special relationship with the same person weekly, who he can be reassured by to give him confidence whilst away from home. Any issues with development are quickly picked up and monitored by the nursery which as a parent demonstrates that the well-being of the children really is at the heart of what they do. I would 100-percent recommend the nursery to anyone who wants their child to enjoy and thrive.

Acorn Day Nursery (Burton Latimer) is truly a fantastic nursery. Both my children attend and absolutely love it. They do so many different activities and experiences from messy play, Forrest school, computers and baking just to name a few. The space and facilities are excellent, giving them tons of room to explore. I cannot recommend it more highly.

My son started at Acorn Day Nursery (Burton Latimer) in the baby room, back in January 2022 so has only been going for a few months now but has settled in so quickly. We rarely have tears in the morning, he happily goes in and turns back to say bye-bye, which is a credit to the wonderful staff. He enjoys going to nursery and I always feel that he is well looked after and that the staff know him well. I love that we can check in on him via the app too. My son has allergies which have been taken seriously, the nursery has good policies and practices in place to keep him safe. This was one of my main worries when choosing a nursery. I really appreciate all that the staff at Acorn Day Nursery (Burton Latimer) are doing and love hearing about his day when we collect him. I would definitely recommend Acorn Day Nursery (Burton Latimer), especially if your little one likes being outdoors.

My son attends the nursery and has been warmly welcomed into his new room, upon collection his key person always enthusiastically tells me all about his day and the activities he’s been up to, always adding in some personal touches which shows she truly knows my child and his current interests. I love seeing all the posts about what the children have been up to and the activities always look so engaging and exciting. My son goes in happy and comes out even happier. We couldn’t have picked a better setting for him to attend. (The outdoor space is also incredible.)

My son was 2 years old when he started at Acorn, he absolutely loves it. When going in now he doesn’t even look behind. Just runs to the staff with excitement. The staff are amazing with my son, when I raised concerns about him they kept me informed and updated me on the app. My son can also sit at a table on a chair now with a small cup. I love the fact it’s nature-based as well!

My child has recently started at this nursery and the whole process from the telephone calls, looking around the nursery and the settling-in sessions, etc have been fantastic and tailored to meet my individual child's needs. It is very clear to see that the staff really care about the children. I particularly love getting observations and pictures through of my child on the app. Thank you especially to the manager and 2 other members of staff. I highly recommend this nursery.

I could not recommend this nursery any more - it is fantastic. My son absolutely loves going here (even after a tough start, taking a little longer to settle in). The team all persevered with him, to make him as comfortable as possible, and now he runs through the reception with excitement and doesn’t even look back. His development has come on leaps and bounds and when we pick him up, he has the biggest smile on his face as he tells me all the fun things he’s been doing. Credit to all the amazing staff that work there.

My daughter has loved this nursery since she started at 10 months old back in 2019. She has come on in leaps and bounds since then and her development has been outstanding. The variety of activities is great and the outdoor space is really good. The food menu available is also brilliant, my daughter tries things at nursery that I wouldn’t serve at home and she loves all the food. The staff are great and she has a wonderful relationship with her key worker along with other staff. Would highly recommend.

Second child to join the nursery, and after settling sessions we were fortunate enough for the nursery manager to bring our start date forward a week to continue with the great experience. Absolutely delighted to have our second child join the nursery with the same key person (who is an absolute star) as our son who is now at school. Couldn't ask for a better nursery especially as our daughter is so young we rely heavily on the personal care and attention provided.
