My daughter really enjoys attending this setting one day a week. The care provided by all staff is excellent and I feel that my child has been well supported in her development. Activities are carefully tailored to support the interests of the children and to spark curiosity. I feel confident leaving my daughter at Acorns and know that she will have a good day.

Both of my children have attended this nursery and had excellent experiences. The staff are experienced, friendly and welcoming, they create a great atmosphere for young children to settle in for their first time away from home. The broad range of activities on offer allows for plenty of variety to keep the children interested and provide opportunities to learn, also tailored to their preferences or development needs.

This nursery has been absolutely amazing, my eldest daughter went here and she loved all of the staff and now my other daughter goes. She’s autistic and they have been so patient with her and understand her needs very well. They are absolutely wonderful. My daughter has come on so much since attending this nursery, all the staff are lovely and so welcoming. I would recommend this nursery all the time, they are brilliant.

Our little one has recently moved from the Squirrel's Room to The Oaks a few months early- at first I thought he might struggle but he has flourished! The team in The Oaks are amazing, he has taken to the big room so well. You can’t ask for a better nursery than Acorn.

Amazing nursery. My child has progressed so much through the nursery, that I couldn’t be happier with how my experience has gone with Acorn. Staff are very polite, and approachable, constantly asking about our child’s interest and the progression we’d like to concentrate on.

We have had our eldest son pass through Acorn and the care was exceptional, though he only went in for two half sessions per week, he absolutely loved it and his development was brilliant. We had some poorer experiences at different nurseries with my second child (we had to go elsewhere due to timing issues) which led us to decide that if our daughter (3rd child) couldn't go to Acorn, she wouldn't be going to nursery at all. Fortunately, she has been going for a few weeks now.
The staff at Acorn are brilliant, they care and engage fully with the children providing a range of activities that help to develop the children by learning through play and different key experiences.

You are constantly kept up to date through the app and we couldn't be happier.

I am so pleased with how my girls are cared for in this nursery. My eldest daughter left last year but still talks about how she misses nursery. She made lots of meaningful connections with adults and children.
My youngest daughter started in the baby room and is now in the oaks (preschool room). She loves going to nursery and enjoys all the activities. It's so nice that the staff are thoughtful about the activities. They always look very interesting and engaging. My daughter has loved making lots of friends and built close relationships with adults.
The nursery does really well at keeping parents informed. They update on food, sleep and activities. Leaving your child at nursery can be a really nerve-wracking time but Acorn does so well at reassuring you with plenty of updates through the day. I always know my daughter is doing well. The nursery is always updating the facilities too, inside and out.

I leave the nursery knowing my daughter is in excellent hands and well cared for.

I was apprehensive about my one-year-old starting nursery, she has always been very clingy and hadn't really been left with anyone. Within a week of starting at Acorn Nursery she went from taking a few steps (but preferring to walk on her knees) to walking full-time. Her speech has really developed, the staff are great. When we arrive or leave, all staff we pass greet my daughter by name. They keep you up to date on the app throughout the day with information and photos which gives me a lot of comfort that I can check what she’s eaten, what time she’s had a nap and see photos of her having a great time. It has a large garden area equipped with lots of toys and a sandpit. My daughter is thriving here, I cannot think of a bad word to say. My older child also went here and some of the same staff are still there which shows it’s a nice place to work. Although it’s a large nursery there’s a homely feel.

Our daughter has been attending Acorns for nearly a year and we are so pleased with the provision! Every morning, she is greeted warmly by a member of staff and we are kept up-to-date on how her day is going through the app. If we’ve ever dropped her off and she hasn’t been herself, the team are always quick to send a quick message to let us know she’s settled in okay (which she always does) and put our mind at rest! The food they provide offers a varied menu on a four-week cycle, and we’re yet to have seen anything our daughter won’t eat! Making the decision to send your baby to nursery is really hard, but we know we made a good choice sending her to Acorns! Every day she comes out smiling and is excited to go in the morning. It’s the perfect place to send your child and know they’ll be treated exactly as you’d want them to be.

As a first-time mum, I worried and was so anxious sending my child to a nursery after looking around so many different styles, Acorn in Burton Latimer just felt so homely. All the staff are amazing and really made me and my son feel welcome. My son's thriving so much since starting in November his speech and eating has really come along since joining and there's nothing I would change. So happy with my decision.

Acorn Day Nursery (Burton Latimer) is a fun, friendly and safe place. My son started in September, and the staff were fantastic at settling him in and reassuring me. Now my son loves nursery days. He is learning so many new words and skills. His social skills are improving. They also do so much outdoor play, which my son loves. The staff are friendly and are always happy to share with me about his day when I pick him up. They speak like they really love their job and care about the children. Definitely recommend this nursery.

Acorn is a nursery that is so considerate of the needs of each child. From settling in to drop-offs and pick-ups it has a warm caring environment. My son needs consistency from his carers and they have really helped do this. They ensure lots of different activities are set up to encourage development and pick things that the children are in to. The staff are all compassionate, empathetic, child-focused, lovely people. It's a home-from-home with lots of outdoor play too and lots of room for the children. Great nursery.

The best hands in which your child could be placed for a nursery experience. The activities are based on learning through playing and the child's will. From drop off, to meals, their time within the nursery and pick up, everything is done with care, joy and focus on the child's needs, wishes and interests. Even though it's challenging for a parent to find the right place for their most precious tiny humans, Acorn Day Nursery is by far the best nursery one could choose for discovering and learning about life, building friendships, encouraging a child's independence, trust and happiness. Messy playing, role-playing, dancing, reading, drawing, baking, nature time, etc. All the good things can be found in here. With all this being said, don't expect your child to come home looking all tidy and clean as they’ve just had the time of their life making out the most of their day at the nursery. This review was written with lots of love and appreciation. Thank you Acorn Day Nursery for getting the best out of my kids!

I have to say that this nursery is so great! They have always been so helpful, supportive and so friendly throughout both our boys going here! We viewed a good 5 nurseries around the local area and our initial gut feeling when walking round was to go with this one! The homely feel and the warmth from all the staff and management are second to none! The communication is extremely good which just makes everything run so smoothly! The only downside is the car park that it's shared with the football ground however this is only really an issue a couple of times of the year and for the amazing people, environment and facilities the nursery provides I'd happily share a car park! Honestly, I can't recommend this nursery enough! Thank you to all the staff and management here for looking after and caring for our boys like they were/are your own we will never ever forget this.
