The environment has been refurbished throughout with bright, open areas for babies, toddlers, early years and out-of-school children aged up to 12-years-old.

Friendly, experienced and well-qualified staff are available to give children and parents the support they need.

Just want to start by saying a massive thank you to every single one of the staff for all the time and effort they put into every individual child, my daughter started two to three years ago and since starting at nursery she has came on leaps and that's down to everyone at Children 1st @ Grantham! She
had the post perfect graduation and you could see the time and effort put into making it a very special day for all the children that are leaving for school! Couldn't recommend this nursery enough to anyone looking for their children, thank you again to the Nursery Manager and all the other staff for everything you've done and continue doing!

I can't fault this nursery at all, they are amazing and I'm so glad I picked Children's 1st @ Grantham for my daughter. She loves going to nursery and has come such a long way since being here, thank you so much to everyone at Children's 1st for just being amazing.

My child joined the nursery in October last year and within just a couple of weeks, the nursery felt like family. They are all so caring and the communication between myself and them is excellent. Nothing was ever too much and the ladies that worked with my child tried so hard to help and support me
with my child's eating problems. My son has made strong connections with the ladies that look after him and they treat him with the utmost care and love.
The nursery itself has a lovely community feel. It has a wonderful layout and is made up of a variety of different rooms which enables the children to learn a variety of skills. My child enjoyed all of his time there and I would absolutely recommend this nursery.

My child has attended the Children 1st Grantham nursery since moving into the area back in March 2022. The Nursery is amazing and the staff are lovely and fantastic. My son's speech since starting nursery has come on massively. He's just graduated and they put on a fantastic performance of the enormous
turnip the children all did extremely well and this is down to the wonderful staff. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough.

Amazing staff, always very welcoming for my daughter, she loves this nursery so much. Since she started at the nursery she has developed so much. All the staff are lovely and always update you on anything that you need to know.

We were really nervous about our little one starting at nursery but from being shown around to him starting and settling in, the whole experience has been brilliant. His key worker is brilliant and engaging, making sure he settles in every day and gives us a really good update on his day when we pick
him up each day. The facilities are brilliant and everyone always looks happy.

My daughter has learnt so much in the seventeen months she has attended.
They also helped me potty train her which was very helpful.
The staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful, very welcoming and always full of smiles and happy to help with any problems.
Great nursery, would highly recommend,
my daughter loved it there so much that she cries to go to school.

I've entrusted the team here with my son since he was three months old, and now at two and a half years old, he still loves going there every day. I can see how much he learns and how confident he has become, and I believe the nursery has a big part to play in this. The staff members are extremely friendly
and always willing to assist in any way they can and are always great with the kids. The nursery itself is a fantastic and secure environment for children, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone. Thanks to all the staff at Children 1st!

The nursery is fantastic with great staff, they are great with my granddaughter and she has developed so much since going there. The staff are really friendly and you can talk to them if you have any concerns. I would recommend this nursery to anyone who was looking for a place for their child.

We joined this nursery almost a year ago and we’re all very happy! Our daughter is having so much fun and learning a lot through the many activities the nursery staff organise for the children. Everyone is lovely and really helpful. The communication we found is great too. We always know what’s going
on or if something’s coming up! Our daughter has settled in very well, enjoying going to nursery, playing with her friends and spending time with her carers! She's due to move classes soon which is exciting too! Thank you to all the staff!

The staff are always very nice and very friendly.

I am very happy with the choice of nursery! The staff are very friendly, helpful and caring for the children. My daughter only says good things about the nursery. She's been there for a few months and I can see how much she's grown. English isn’t her first language but she’s starting to understand and
speak English, the staff help her and give her support. My daughter loves food from nursery, it always smells like home food there.

Our little boy joined in October 2021 and has settled in really well. He started part-time and has built up to full-time. The staff are very knowledgeable when it comes to his allergies.
All the staff are warm and welcoming and they care for the children like family.
Our little boy has become a confident
little boy in all areas of development. He is happy to go in and have cuddles and doesn't want to leave when we collect him. His talking has come on really well and he enjoys colouring, painting and playing outside.

This is my daughter's third nursery and it is the best by miles. All the staff are warm, kind and thoughtful and you can tell that they really care about the children. My daughter has flourished being here and her speech has improved a lot. One of the things I appreciate most is that they provide daily
updates on an app and they do this without fail. My daughter loves telling me about all the activities she completes, such as painting and water play.

Our little girl has been coming for two weeks, she is settling in well and has a smile on her face every day I drop her off. The girls in the baby room really look after her. We love getting updates and pictures of how she's getting on.

Couldn’t wish for anything more from this nursery, all staff go above and beyond for the children and both of my children are very happy there. Nothing is ever too much trouble and I can go to work knowing my children are safe, happy and having fun playing with their friends and being looked after by

Hello, I'm Paula Bunn, Manager at Children 1st @ Grantham.
I have over 20 years childcare experience in different settings and roles. I have the level 3 NNEB qualification, an NVQ in Team Leading and an NVQ in Management.
I started working at the Grantham nursery 3 years ago as a Senior Nursery Nurse in the under 2s unit and was promoted to Deputy Manager overseeing the under 3s unit in January 2014, also supporting our EYT and Manager with the day to day running of the Early Years unit and Nursery as a whole.
I am really enjoying my new role as manager at our Outstanding nursery.
I am extremely passionate about the nursery I work in as I was born nearby and get tremendous job satisfaction seeing the wonderful children we look after learn and develop in a happy, safe and stimulating environment. I am also very proud to work for Children 1st, working with the staff at every level to be `The Best`.
