Children 1st Grantham Nursery School

Children's 1st has been the best. I will truly miss every single staff member. We are so grateful for you all.

Great nursery, lovely staff, and an environment for the kids to grow and learn. Staff do a great job with the children and bring them out of their shells. Would definitely recommend it to other parents. Thank you all so much.

All 3 of my children have attended Children 1st @ Grantham and I have never had any faults. They always come out with smiles on their faces and a thousand amazing stories about their days and they keep up with their dietary needs with them being lactose intolerant. My children have had an amazing start to their education and preparing them for the future. I and my children are going to miss them dearly 10/10 5 stars.

My boy has been going to Children 1st @ Grantham Nursery coming on three years. He loves all the teachers and the staff are so friendly. He has never really taken well with new people and can be a bit clingy to me and two members of staff, in particular, always give him a big cuddle to soothe him. His speech has come on leaps and bounds and he’s always so excited to see his friends.

A fantastic nursery, spacious rooms, a large selection of learning materials. My child is happy to go to the nursery. The staff is excellent!! I feel safe leaving my child there. I am so happy that I chose this nursery!

My daughter has been with the Nursery since January 2024. She has been in the Peter Rabbits room and since January has really enjoyed her time there. She is thriving and in just a month we have seen significant improvements to her language and social skills as well as her fine motor and mobility skills also. We truly believe that the Nursery is a great fit for her and we cannot wait to see what further improvements she will make.

Additionally, all the staff are friendly, cheerful and helpful. Even if I am late by 5 or 10 minutes during their closing time, the staff/my son's teacher has never complained or displayed their frustration. Therefore, I have given them 5 stars, which they rightly deserve.

I am satisfied with the care provided to him.

I cannot praise this nursery enough. In the six months my daughter has been there, she now socialises so much easier, her progress has come along so much, she's always singing from numbers to colours to nursery rhymes, she absolutely loves going to nursery and settled in so well.

My little boy has been attending the nursery since he was 3 months old. He absolutely loves going to nursery every day. He is the most outgoing, social, friendly little boy and he learns so much from nursery - he seems really advanced for his age. The nursery is really accommodating when we have extra sessions or need to swap things around. It has been a real lifesaver for us as we have no family anywhere local to us to help with childcare.

Many thanks from the heart for all your hard work, love and patience for my son, caring when he is not feeling well, making every day a fun environment to go to which was also very important for us as parents.

The best nursery. The ladies are wonderful and caring. As a mother, I was very afraid that the ladies would not calm her down when she cried, but it's wonderful, my daughter is content and happy every day.

They are kind and lovely and they always say morning and afternoon when I take my son in the morning and when I pick him up in afternoon. They always tell me how my son gets on and are friendly as well.

I cannot thank this establishment enough for being a friendly, loving environment for my little girl to thrive in. I have had two children attend this nursery and wouldn’t recommend anywhere else. All of the team are friendly and approachable, they make me leaving my daughter an easy transition, to go to work knowing she’s safe and happy. They are very supportive and nothing is ever too much for them to make changes for work situations that pop up from time to time. My daughter is in her final few months before she transitions to school, this will be very emotional goodbye to Children 1st for my last child attending here. The girls are always happy and give detailed handover on pick up, they provide second to none care for all that attend. Thank you girls, your work is hugely appreciated!

My children have opportunities every day to explore many different stimulating activities and create friendships. I have no doubt that Children’s 1st at Grantham and its staff have created strong foundations for my children’s future. Would recommend this nursery 10/10.

My son has been coming to Children 1st at Grantham since September 2023. He has settled in really well, enjoys going every day and has learnt so much. They have been brilliant with him and my son is coming on leaps and bounds!

I’ve seen such a difference in him already, he’s learnt so much in a short time, he has become much more independent, his social and communication skills have improved massively and our overall experience with the nursery has been phenomenal.

The nursery is fantastic and the team looking after the kids are truly terrific. Both my kids have attended the nursery. Both have been thriving and enjoying their time at Children First. The manager has so much patience and is always accommodating where she can. I cannot recommend the nursery enough. Fantastic place for kids.

Lovely nursery, run to a very high standard. Staff so friendly, helpful and so good with my little gal. They helped her learn so much through play and interaction, such a shame they have to leave for next stage. Outstanding.
