Children 1st Wragby Road Nursery School

My daughter is enjoying her time at this nursery, she has learnt so many different things already. Most of the staff are really nice, there was one member who wasn't very nice and my daughter was very upset every time she saw her. Luckily she has moved up to the next room now and seems to be much happier.

I always recommend Children 1st @ Wragby Road to my friends and talk about our three-plus years with Wragby Road. I feel so lucky that our daughter is so happy at Wragby Road and she has made so many wonderful friends. Recently, I have been impressed by the communication and time that managers have given me recently. They have been so responsive, proactive and supportive. Thank you so much.

I can go to work knowing my boy is safe and cared for.

Our little boy started at Children 1st @ Wragby Road when he was 9 months, we had moved him from a previous nursery and we have never looked back. It is a wonderful setting and the staff are all so lovely. We are always greeted with smiles, the staff always make an effort to chat and our son's needs are always met, over and above.

Our 3-year-old started in May 2023 and has settled better than we could have ever hoped for. As we’re an ex-military family, our child has experienced four nurseries now and struggled at all of them for weeks to properly settle in but not here! He is so happy and content after only a short time there. The team put their heart and soul into making our son feel incredibly welcome and giving him the sensitive care and attention that he needs as quite a shy little one. He has formed wonderful bonds with the staff and loves attending on his days there. I often wish I could stay for lunch myself as the home-cooked food smells incredible. The stay-and-play sessions really bring the community together and allow the parents to properly meet each other. I’ve never found a nicer, cleaner or more efficient nursery after living in the south of England and also in Germany.

My daughter has attended the nursery since October last year and all the staff are brilliant with her. She’s built up some lovely relationships that have really helped her to develop, the care she receives is second to none.

Both of my children have attended Children 1st @ Wragby Road with my youngest still being there now. We have always been very satisfied with the quality of care our boys receive. Information about my child's day and any concerns/injuries from accidents are always reported and communicated efficiently. It’s lovely to see the occasional picture of the fun that goes on during activities in the day too! My youngest loves attending nursery and is happy to see all of the grown-ups and children there. The staff engage well with the children and everything they do is driven by the children’s needs and interests. Thank you to everyone for your hard work and care!

My first daughter started here in 2017 and my youngest is there now, over five years all the staff have been really accommodating of any changes and really helpful with questions. My daughter really enjoys her time in early years, she always seems to have packed a lot into her day and she loves the new outdoor play area. The staff all seem to know the children and there is a really nice atmosphere.

Great nursery with friendly staff. My little one has been going there for almost a year now and enjoys it very much. Very good facilities and outdoor playing area. Good food menu with a variety of fruits and snacks.

I have always felt assured my children are in the best care coming here. I have 2 children who attend, both very different characters and they both love it, always coming out with big smiles and lots to tell me. They do so many different activities and have both come on so much, developmentally and socially from when they started.

Very positive experience from Day 1, when we first came in for an open day. Even though our boy is very shy, after overcoming early anxieties of being separated from us, parents, he now loves going to the nursery and interacting with his friends. I’d recommend this nursery to everyone. Great, caring staff, always with a smile on their face, always willing to help and go the extra mile. Lots of parent-friendly modern solutions (interactive Ey Log, QBell, etc.) enable tracking child development and learning progress as well as convince when picking up on a rainy or a cold day. The nursery is constantly developing and only recently has completely revamped its garden to provide even more fun areas for the children. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. My daughter has been attending Children 1st @ Wragby Road for more than a year and we both love it. I looked at several nurseries and knew this was the one from our first visit and have never doubted our decision. The facilities are fantastic, my daughter has so much fun and she adores the staff and other children. Her development and speech have come on so much and so quickly and a huge part of this is down to her amazing key workers. She's always full of smiles when I collect her and eager to tell me about the people she's seen, the food she's eaten and to sing me the new songs she's learnt. The communication is great with staff and everyone on the team is friendly, helpful and professional, and have gone above and beyond to help or answer any questions I've had. I would highly recommend Children 1st @ Wragby Road (and frequently do)!

My youngest has been at the nursery since February 2020. They have really helped him grow. My two other children now 10 and 8 both attended the same nursery. A brilliant team that go above and beyond. Any issues and they are always resolved quickly. Would highly recommend.

I think that this nursery is the best place for children my son started his adventure with them when he turned 2 and really enjoyed the child feel safe and gain new experiences and the staff are very helpful.

Our son has been attending the nursery since he was 12 months old, when I returned to work, he has loved every day! From the very beginning, we knew we’d chosen the right nursery for us. The team are fantastic, caring, happy, supportive and very knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble. Even with the changes and challenges 2020 has brought the team have continued to deliver the service they provide with care, compassion and enthusiasm. When we pick our son up he is so excited about the day he has had, fun-filled and packed full of activities, he can’t wait to tell us. His learning and development have come on leaps and bounds, which we know and are confident that this has set him up for when he starts school in September 21.

My little girl started at Children’s 1st in the summer following the first lockdown of 2020. I was a little nervous as it is her first nursery and of course things were a little different to usual this year. However, the staff have been fantastic from day one putting us both at ease and welcoming her into the class. Her development has been excellent and she’s made lovely relationships with the staff - it’s clear how much care the children are given and everyone is so friendly. The children are always doing different activities and as parents, we receive regular updates. I’ve been delighted with how my little one has settled in and would recommend the nursery to anyone. It’s a real home from home and I’m in no doubt that the children are so well looked after, I don’t need to worry at all during the day.

My child has been coming here since 2019 and has learnt so much and has always enjoyed being here, all the staff and management are so helpful and look after the children so well it is the best nursery by far.

I will definately be sending any future children I have here too.

My son feels really at home at Children 1st, he learns so much through play, has great friends, he adores all the staff (especially his key worker) and he also loves the food provided. All the staff are warm and friendly. He doesn't have any anxiety being dropped off and when we pick him up, he sometimes doesn't want to leave. The children have plenty of outdoors time in the nice garden area which he absolutely loves. My son has really flourished at Children 1st and we will be so sad to leave when he starts "BIG" school.
