My son started nursery in September, it was the first time him being away from me since he was born so it has been quite scary for him. Since he started coming to this nursery he has become so much more confident. He loves! His teachers and always comes home speaking about them and looking at their photos, his vocabulary has become so much wider and I can't thank his class teachers enough. I am so pleased I chose this nursery, I was nervous at first but seeing his photos every day honestly makes me think I made the best choice for him. If you are worried or unsure please please have a look around this nursery is more than just a place for kids to play the staff are amazing! And it's a really lovely atmosphere!
Since attending St George's Aylestone, our son has made amazing progress in communication and interaction. He loves all the staff and enjoys all his meals. It has been a huge relief being able to send him somewhere so nurturing and safe since returning to work. A lovely team behind a lovely nursery.
Nice event, well organised. Good engagement chance for children. A lot of activities.
My daughter has settled in very well and loves it there. Has a great bond with staff and they’re very helpful. Great selection of varied meals. My little one has come a long way since joining the nursery.
My daughter goes to St George’s Nursery (Aylestone) three days a week, and she loves being there, playing, singing and doing all the fun stuff with her colleagues and teachers. She enjoys the food as well. Is a very good nursery with lovely staff - definitely recommend.
Our 19-month-old has been attending for about nine months now. Apart from the tearful drop-offs, he seems to thoroughly enjoy it. He comes home saying new words and singing new songs, and you can see how the nursery is helping him develop. The staff have been really supportive of him as sometimes he can be a little needy. We are very happy with the nursery, and in particular, a couple of the staff members, which I'm not allowed to mention on here.
Absolutely brilliant - both my girls have been here, and they absolutely love it. Every day my youngest comes out happy with her day and has lots of stories about her two favourite teachers, enjoys her meals and puddings.
My son has come on so well since being at nursery for over a year now. Most of the staff are really nice, and some have helped me and my son on his journey at nursery! All facilities are great, and my son really enjoys his time here and runs in every time he goes and comes out smiling as well. Happy I chose this nursery. Thanks.
Amazing nursery, amazing staff, amazing communication from the team, all around amazing! Really impressed with St George's and how much the children seem to enjoy attending. Thank you, St George's, for being the best!
Thank you so much for taking great care of my daughter.
Our daughter has been at this nursery for five months. We have been really impressed with her development since attending. Our daughter really enjoys coming to the nursery twice a week; she has a lovely bond with the staff, especially her key workers. The app is regularly updated, so we know what she has been doing. Handover on collections is also really good. She is very well cared for and looked after with plenty of stimulation.l
We are so proud of how much she has developed since attending St George's Nursery.
Our daughter has been attending St George's Nursery for a year now, and we definitely made the best decision. She started when she was ten months old in the bunnies. The nursery staff have always been amazing; they care about my daughter's development and well-being. We always receive an update every day on the app and a very detailed handover when picking her up. My daughter now attends three days a week, and the changes in her are big! She's happy, she eats well, and her development has come on really fast. All the nursery staff are very approachable, happy and smiley.
They have amazing, knowledgeable, educated and friendly staff, a nice and safe place for my little one.
Our daughter is 10-months-old and is absolutely loving nursery. They try so hard to stick to her routine, and she has such a great bond with her key worker. I’m so glad we chose to send her to St George’s; it has made starting back at work so much less stressful. Thank you all!
My son attends St George’s in Aylestone, and I wouldn’t want him anywhere else. It’s the same nursery I went to as a child, and the staff have always been so friendly and loving to not only my son but to myself as well. My son always has the best times doing all sorts of crafty activities and has made some really lovely friends as well. Super, super nursery.
My experience at St George's Nursery School so far is so good as my child is enjoying it too. I could see that through his excitement whenever he is heading there. The staff, as well, are so nice and helpful.
My little boy loves coming to the nursery; he has made so many new friends and talks about the different staff members all of the time when at home! He started at St George’s in October 2021 but has definitely enjoyed every minute of his journey.
My 2-year-old started in January, and from day one, he is absolutely into it. He wakes up easily at 7-am to get ready for it and can't wait at the nursery door to get in. Has his favourite members of staff, and I'm happy to see him happy. Also, the app is great to see how he is doing and everything else. Communication has been great. Although my little one doesn't speak, I see him happy, and that's the most important thing for me. Great place to send your little one. I'm very happy that I chose this nursery, and I have been given this opportunity to send him into the nursery at the age of two.
My little girl has just started and loves going. I get updated on the app of what she has been up to, and she seems to really be enjoying it, especially the outdoor area. She has brought home paintings and is always happily telling me all the things she has done.

Meet the Team (1)
Working with children is all I have ever known and done since leaving school at 16. I love to see the children progress throughout their time at nursery, and experience all of the milestones with them and their families.
I started working in childcare in 2012 and have worked my way up from an apprentice role, which has allowed me to experience.
I chose St. George’s because I feel like my passion and beliefs align with what theirs, and I always know that if I would be happy to leave my child in the setting I am at that I am working in the right place and that’s the way I feel about St. George’s.
